ב. צַו אֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם כִּי אַתֶּם בָּאִים אֶל הָאָרֶץ כְּנָעַן זֹאת הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר תִּפֹּל לָכֶם בְּנַחֲלָה אֶרֶץ כְּנַעַן לִגְבֻלֹתֶיהָ:

ἔντειλαι τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ὑμεῖς εἰσπορεύεσθε εἰς τὴν γῆν Χανααν αὕτη ἔσται ὑμῖν εἰς κληρονομίαν γῆ Χανααν σὺν τοῖς ὁρίοις αὐτῆς

Præcipe filiis Israël, et dices ad eos: Cum ingressi fueritis terram Chanaan, et in possessionem vobis sorte ceciderit, his finibus terminabitur.

2 Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)

ג. וְהָיָה לָכֶם פְּאַת נֶגֶב מִמִּדְבַּר צִן עַל יְדֵי אֱדוֹם וְהָיָה לָכֶם גְּבוּל נֶגֶב מִקְצֵה יָם הַמֶּלַח קֵדְמָה:

καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν τὸ κλίτος τὸ πρὸς λίβα ἀπὸ ἐρήμου Σιν ἕως ἐχόμενον Εδωμ καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν τὰ ὅρια πρὸς λίβα ἀπὸ μέρους τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς ἁλυκῆς ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν

Pars meridiana incipiet a solitudine Sin, quæ est juxta Edom: et habebit terminos contra orientem mare salsissimum.

3 Then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the coast of Edom, and your south border shall be the outmost coast of the salt sea eastward:

ד. וְנָסַב לָכֶם הַגְּבוּל מִנֶּגֶב לְמַעֲלֵה עַקְרַבִּים וְעָבַר צִנָה וְהָיוּ תּוֹצְאֹתָיו מִנֶּגֶב לְקָדֵשׁ בַּרְנֵעַ וְיָצָא חֲצַר אַדָּר וְעָבַר עַצְמֹנָה:

καὶ κυκλώσει ὑμᾶς τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ λιβὸς πρὸς ἀνάβασιν Ακραβιν καὶ παρελεύσεται Σεννα καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ πρὸς λίβα Καδης τοῦ Βαρνη καὶ ἐξελεύσεται εἰς ἔπαυλιν Αραδ καὶ παρελεύσεται Ασεμωνα

Qui circuibunt australem plagam per ascensum Scorpionis, ita ut transeant in Senna, et perveniant a meridie usque ad Cadesbarne, unde egredientur confinia ad villam nomine Adar, et tendent usque ad Asemona.

4 And your border shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin: and the going forth thereof shall be from the south to Kadeshbarnea, and shall go on to Hazaraddar, and pass on to Azmon:

ה. וְנָסַב הַגְּבוּל מֵעַצְמוֹן נַחְלָה מִצְרָיִם וְהָיוּ תוֹצְאֹתָיו הַיָּמָּה:

καὶ κυκλώσει τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ Ασεμωνα χειμάρρουν Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος ἡ θάλασσα

Ibitque per gyrum terminus ab Asemona usque ad torrentem Ægypti, et maris magni littore finietur.

5 And the border shall fetch a compass from Azmon unto the river of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.

ו. וּגְבוּל יָם וְהָיָה לָכֶם הַיָּם הַגָּדוֹל וּגְבוּל זֶה יִּהְיֶה לָכֶם גְּבוּל יָם:

καὶ τὰ ὅρια τῆς θαλάσσης ἔσται ὑμῖν ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μεγάλη ὁριεῖ τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν τὰ ὅρια τῆς θαλάσσης

Plaga autem occidentalis a mari magno incipiet, et ipso fine claudetur.

6 And as for the western border, ye shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.

ז. וְזֶה יִּהְיֶה לָכֶם גְּבוּל צָפוֹן מִן הַיָּם הַגָּדֹל תְּתָאוּ לָכֶם הֹר הָהָר:

καὶ τοῦτο ἔσται τὰ ὅρια ὑμῖν πρὸς βορρᾶν ἀπὸ τῆς θαλάσσης τῆς μεγάλης καταμετρήσετε ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς παρὰ τὸ ὄρος τὸ ὄρος

Porro ad septentrionalem plagam a mari magno termini incipient, pervenientes usque ad montem altissimum,

7 And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall point out for you mount Hor:

ח. מֵהֹר הָהָר תְּתָאוּ לְבֹא חֲמָת וְהָיוּ תּוֹצְאֹת הַגְּבֻל צְדָדָה:

καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄρους τὸ ὄρος καταμετρήσετε αὐτοῖς εἰσπορευομένων εἰς Εμαθ καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ τὰ ὅρια Σαραδα

a quo venient in Emath usque ad terminos Sedada:

8 From mount Hor ye shall point out your border unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings forth of the border shall be to Zedad:

ט. וְיָצָא הַגְּבֻל זִפְרֹנָה וְהָיוּ תוֹצְאֹתָיו חֲצַר עֵינָן זֶה יִּהְיֶה לָכֶם גְּבוּל צָפוֹן:

καὶ ἐξελεύσεται τὰ ὅρια Δεφρωνα καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτοῦ Ασερναιν τοῦτο ἔσται ὑμῖν ὅρια ἀπὸ βορρᾶ

ibuntque confinia usque ad Zephrona, et villam Enan. Hi erunt termini in parte aquilonis.

9 And the border shall go on to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazarenan: this shall be your north border.

י. וְהִתְאַוִּיתֶם לָכֶם לִגְבוּל קֵדְמָה מֵחֲצַר עֵינָן שְׁפָמָה:

καὶ καταμετρήσετε ὑμῖν αὐτοῖς τὰ ὅρια ἀνατολῶν ἀπὸ Ασερναιν Σεπφαμα

Inde metabuntur fines contra orientalem plagam de villa Enan usque Sephama,

10 And ye shall point out your east border from Hazarenan to Shepham:

יא. וְיָרַד הַגְּבֻל מִשְּׁפָם הָרִבְלָה מִקֶּדֶם לָעָיִן וְיָרַד הַגְּבֻל וּמָחָה עַל כֶּתֶף יָם כִּנֶּרֶת קֵדְמָה:

καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ Σεπφαμ Αρβηλα ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν ἐπὶ πηγάς καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια Βηλα ἐπὶ νώτου θαλάσσης Χεναρα ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν

et de Sephama descendent termini in Rebla contra fontem Daphnim: inde pervenient contra orientem ad mare Cenereth,

11 And the coast shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall descend, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward:

יב. וְיָרַד הַגְּבוּל הַיַּרְדֵּנָה וְהָיוּ תוֹצְאֹתָיו יָם הַמֶּלַח זֹאת תִּהְיֶה לָכֶם הָאָרֶץ לִגְבֻלֹתֶיהָ סָבִיב:

καὶ καταβήσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ τὸν Ιορδάνην καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος θάλασσα ἡ ἁλυκή αὕτη ἔσται ὑμῖν ἡ γῆ καὶ τὰ ὅρια αὐτῆς κύκλῳ

et tendent usque ad Jordanem, et ad ultimum salsissimo claudentur mari. Hanc habebitis terram per fines suos in circuitu.

12 And the border shall go down to Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the salt sea: this shall be your land with the coasts thereof round about.

יג. וַיְצַו משֶׁה אֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר זֹאת הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר תִּתְנַחֲלוּ אֹתָהּ בְּגוֹרָל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהֹוָה לָתֵת לְתִשְׁעַת הַמַּטּוֹת וַחֲצִי הַמַּטֶּה:

καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ λέγων αὕτη ἡ γῆ ἣν κατακληρονομήσετε αὐτὴν μετὰ κλήρου ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ δοῦναι αὐτὴν ταῖς ἐννέα φυλαῖς καὶ τῷ ἡμίσει φυλῆς Μανασση

Præcepitque Moyses filiis Israël, dicens: Hæc erit terra, quam possidebitis sorte, et quam jussit Dominus dari novem tribubus, et dimidiæ tribui.

13 And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which the LORD commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half tribe:

יד. כִּי לָקְחוּ מַטֵּה בְנֵי הָראוּבֵנִי לְבֵית אֲבֹתָם וּמַטֵּה בְנֵי הַגָּדִי לְבֵית אֲבֹתָם וַחֲצִי מַטֵּה מְנַשֶּׁה לָקְחוּ נַחֲלָתָם:

ὅτι ἔλαβεν φυλὴ υἱῶν Ρουβην καὶ φυλὴ υἱῶν Γαδ κατ᾽ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν καὶ τὸ ἥμισυ φυλῆς Μανασση ἀπέλαβον τοὺς κλήρους αὐτῶν

Tribus enim filiorum Ruben per familias suas, et tribus filiorum Gad juxta cognationum numerum, media quoque tribus Manasse,

14 For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:

טו. שְׁנֵי הַמַּטּוֹת וַחֲצִי הַמַּטֶּה לָקְחוּ נַחֲלָתָם מֵעֵבֶר לְיַרְדֵּן יְרֵחוֹ קֵדְמָה מִזְרָחָה:

δύο φυλαὶ καὶ ἥμισυ φυλῆς ἔλαβον τοὺς κλήρους αὐτῶν πέραν τοῦ Ιορδάνου κατὰ Ιεριχω ἀπὸ νότου κατ᾽ ἀνατολάς

id est, duæ semis tribus, acceperunt partem suam trans Jordanem contra Jericho ad orientalem plagam.

15 The two tribes and the half tribe have received their inheritance on this side Jordan near Jericho eastward, toward the sunrising.

טז. וַיְדַבֵּר יְהֹוָה אֶל משֶׁה לֵּאמֹר:

καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

Et ait Dominus ad Moysen:

16 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

יז. אֵלֶּה שְׁמוֹת הָאֲנָשִׁים אֲשֶׁר יִנְחֲלוּ לָכֶם אֶת הָאָרֶץ אֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן וִיהוֹשֻׁע בִּן נוּן:

ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν ἀνδρῶν οἳ κληρονομήσουσιν ὑμῖν τὴν γῆν Ελεαζαρ ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ Ἰησοῦς ὁ τοῦ Ναυη

Hæc sunt nomina virorum qui terram vobis divident, Eleazar sacerdos, et Josue filius Nun,

17 These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.

יח. וְנָשִׂיא אֶחָד נָשִׂיא אֶחָד מִמַּטֶּה תִּקְחוּ לִנְחֹל אֶת הָאָרֶץ:

καὶ ἄρχοντα ἕνα ἐκ φυλῆς λήμψεσθε κατακληρονομῆσαι ὑμῖν τὴν γῆν

et singuli principes de tribubus singulis,

18 And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land by inheritance.

יט. וְאֵלֶּה שְׁמוֹת הָאֲנָשִׁים לְמַטֵּה יְהוּדָה כָּלֵב בֶּן יְפֻנֶּה:

καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν ἀνδρῶν τῆς φυλῆς Ιουδα Χαλεβ υἱὸς Ιεφοννη

quorum ista sunt vocabula. De tribu Juda, Caleb filius Jephone.

19 And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

כ. וּלְמַטֵּה בְּנֵי שִׁמְעוֹן שְׁמוּאֵל בֶּן עַמִּיהוּד:

τῆς φυλῆς Συμεων Σαλαμιηλ υἱὸς Εμιουδ

De tribu Simeon, Samuel filius Ammiud.

20 And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.

כא. לְמַטֵּה בִנְיָמִן אֱלִידָד בֶּן כִּסְלוֹן:

τῆς φυλῆς Βενιαμιν Ελδαδ υἱὸς Χασλων

De tribu Benjamin, Elidad filius Chaselon.

21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.

כב. וּלְמַטֵּה בְנֵי דָן נָשִׂיא בֻּקִּי בֶּן יָגְלִי:

τῆς φυλῆς Δαν ἄρχων Βακχιρ υἱὸς Εγλι

De tribu filiorum Dan, Bocci filius Jogli.

22 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli.

כג. לִבְנֵי יוֹסֵף לְמַטֵּה בְנֵי מְנַשֶּׁה נָשִׂיא חַנִּיאֵל בֶּן אֵפֹד:

τῶν υἱῶν Ιωσηφ φυλῆς υἱῶν Μανασση ἄρχων Ανιηλ υἱὸς Ουφι

Filiorum Joseph de tribu Manasse, Hanniel filius Ephod.

23 The prince of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod.

כד. וּלְמַטֵּה בְנֵי אֶפְרַיִם נָשִׂיא קְמוּאֵל בֶּן שִׁפְטָן:

τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν Εφραιμ ἄρχων Καμουηλ υἱὸς Σαβαθα

De tribu Ephraim, Camuel filius Sephthan.

24 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.

כה. וּלְמַטֵּה בְנֵי זְבוּלֻן נָשִׂיא אֱלִיצָפָן בֶּן פַּרְנָךְ:

τῆς φυλῆς Ζαβουλων ἄρχων Ελισαφαν υἱὸς Φαρναχ

De tribu Zabulon, Elisaphan filius Pharnach.

25 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.

כו. וּלְמַטֵּה בְנֵי יִשָּׂשכָר נָשִׂיא פַּלְטִיאֵל בֶּן עַזָּן:

τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν Ισσαχαρ ἄρχων Φαλτιηλ υἱὸς Οζα

De tribu Issachar, dux Phaltiel filius Ozan.

26 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan.

כז. וּלְמַטֵּה בְנֵי אָשֵׁר נָשִׂיא אֲחִיהוּד בֶּן שְׁלֹמִי:

τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν Ασηρ ἄρχων Αχιωρ υἱὸς Σελεμι

De tribu Aser, Ahiud filius Salomi.

27 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.

כח. וּלְמַטֵּה בְנֵי נַפְתָּלִי נָשִׂיא פְּדַהְאֵל בֶּן עַמִּיהוּד:

τῆς φυλῆς Νεφθαλι ἄρχων Φαδαηλ υἱὸς Βεναμιουδ

De tribu Nephthali, Phedaël filius Ammiud.

28 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.

כט. אֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהֹוָה לְנַחֵל אֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן:

οὗτοι οἷς ἐνετείλατο κύριος καταμερίσαι τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ ἐν γῇ Χανααν

Hi sunt, quibus præcepit Dominus ut dividerent filiis Israël terram Chanaan.

29 These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
