ב. צַו אֶת אַהֲרֹן וְאֶת בָּנָיו לֵאמֹר זֹאת תּוֹרַת הָעֹלָה הִוא הָעֹלָה עַל מוֹקְדָה עַל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ כָּל הַלַּיְלָה עַד הַבֹּקֶר וְאֵשׁ הַמִּזְבֵּחַ תּוּקַד בּוֹ:

ἔντειλαι Ααρων καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ λέγων οὗτος ὁ νόμος τῆς ὁλοκαυτώσεως αὐτὴ ἡ ὁλοκαύτωσις ἐπὶ τῆς καύσεως αὐτῆς ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου ὅλην τὴν νύκτα ἕως τὸ πρωί καὶ τὸ πῦρ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καυθήσεται ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῦ οὐ σβεσθήσεται

Præcipe Aaron et filiis ejus: Hæc est lex holocausti: cremabitur in altari tota nocte usque mane: ignis ex eodem altari erit.

9 Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.

ג. וְלָבַשׁ הַכֹּהֵן מִדּוֹ בַד וּמִכְנְסֵי בַד יִלְבַּשׁ עַל בְּשָׂרוֹ וְהֵרִים אֶת הַדֶּשֶׁן אֲשֶׁר תֹּאכַל הָאֵשׁ אֶת הָעֹלָה עַל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְשָׂמוֹ אֵצֶל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ:

καὶ ἐνδύσεται ὁ ἱερεὺς χιτῶνα λινοῦν καὶ περισκελὲς λινοῦν ἐνδύσεται περὶ τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀφελεῖ τὴν κατακάρπωσιν ἣν ἂν καταναλώσῃ τὸ πῦρ τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν ἀπὸ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ παραθήσει αὐτὸ ἐχόμενον τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου

Vestietur tunica sacerdos et feminalibus lineis: tolletque cineres, quos vorans ignis exussit, et ponens juxta altare,

10 And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.

ד. וּפָשַׁט אֶת בְּגָדָיו וְלָבַשׁ בְּגָדִים אֲחֵרִים וְהוֹצִיא אֶת הַדֶּשֶׁן אֶל מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה אֶל מָקוֹם טָהוֹר:

καὶ ἐκδύσεται τὴν στολὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐνδύσεται στολὴν ἄλλην καὶ ἐξοίσει τὴν κατακάρπωσιν ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς εἰς τόπον καθαρόν

spoliabitur prioribus vestimentis, indutusque aliis, efferret eos extra castra, et in loco mundissimo usque ad favillam consumi faciet.

11 And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.

ה. וְהָאֵשׁ עַל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ תּוּקַד בּוֹ לֹא תִכְבֶּה וּבִעֵר עָלֶיהָ הַכֹּהֵן עֵצִים בַּבֹּקֶר בַּבֹּקֶר וְעָרַךְ עָלֶיהָ הָעֹלָה וְהִקְטִיר עָלֶיהָ חֶלְבֵי הַשְּׁלָמִים:

καὶ πῦρ ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καυθήσεται ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐ σβεσθήσεται καὶ καύσει ὁ ἱερεὺς ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ ξύλα τὸ πρωὶ καὶ στοιβάσει ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῦ τὴν ὁλοκαύτωσιν καὶ ἐπιθήσει ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ τὸ στέαρ τοῦ σωτηρίου

Ignis autem in altari semper ardebit, quem nutriet sacerdos subjiciens ligna mane per singulos dies, et imposito holocausto, desuper adolebit adipes pacificorum.

12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

ו. אֵשׁ תָּמִיד תּוּקַד עַל הַמִּזְבֵּחַ לֹא תִכְבֶּה:

καὶ πῦρ διὰ παντὸς καυθήσεται ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον οὐ σβεσθήσεται

Ignis est iste perpetuus, qui numquam deficiet in altari.

13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

ז. וְזֹאת תּוֹרַת הַמִּנְחָה הַקְרֵב אֹתָהּ בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן לִפְנֵי יְהֹוָה אֶל פְּנֵי הַמִּזְבֵּחַ:

οὗτος ὁ νόμος τῆς θυσίας ἣν προσάξουσιν αὐτὴν οἱ υἱοὶ Ααρων ἔναντι κυρίου ἀπέναντι τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου

Hæc est lex sacrificii et libamentorum, quæ offerent filii Aaron coram Domino, et coram altari.

14 And this is the law of the meat offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before the LORD, before the altar.

ח. וְהֵרִים מִמֶּנּוּ בְּקֻמְצוֹ מִסֹּלֶת הַמִּנְחָה וּמִשַּׁמְנָהּ וְאֵת כָּל הַלְּבֹנָה אֲשֶׁר עַל הַמִּנְחָה וְהִקְטִיר הַמִּזְבֵּחַ רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ אַזְכָּרָתָהּ לַיהֹוָה:

καὶ ἀφελεῖ ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ τῇ δρακὶ ἀπὸ τῆς σεμιδάλεως τῆς θυσίας σὺν τῷ ἐλαίῳ αὐτῆς καὶ σὺν τῷ λιβάνῳ αὐτῆς τὰ ὄντα ἐπὶ τῆς θυσίας καὶ ἀνοίσει ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον κάρπωμα ὀσμὴ εὐωδίας τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτῆς τῷ κυρίῳ

Tollet sacerdos pugillum similæ, quæ conspersa est oleo, et totum thus, quod super similam positum est: adolebitque illud in altari in monimentum odoris suavissimi Domino:

15 And he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of the meat offering, and of the oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is upon the meat offering, and shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour, even the memorial of it, unto the LORD.

ט. וְהַנּוֹתֶרֶת מִמֶּנָּה יֹאכְלוּ אַהֲרֹן וּבָנָיו מַצּוֹת תֵּאָכֵל בְּמָקוֹם קָדֹשׁ בַּחֲצַר אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד יֹאכְלוּהָ:

τὸ δὲ καταλειφθὲν ἀπ᾽ αὐτῆς ἔδεται Ααρων καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ ἄζυμα βρωθήσεται ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ ἐν αὐλῇ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἔδονται αὐτήν

reliquam autem partem similæ comedet Aaron cum filiis suis, absque fermento: et comedet in loco sancto atrii tabernaculi.

16 And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: with unleavened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.

י. לֹא תֵאָפֶה חָמֵץ חֶלְקָם נָתַתִּי אֹתָהּ מֵאִשָּׁי קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים הִוא כַּחַטָּאת וְכָאָשָׁם:

οὐ πεφθήσεται ἐζυμωμένη μερίδα αὐτὴν ἔδωκα αὐτοῖς ἀπὸ τῶν καρπωμάτων κυρίου ἅγια ἁγίων ὥσπερ τὸ τῆς ἁμαρτίας καὶ ὥσπερ τὸ τῆς πλημμελείας

Ideo autem non fermentabitur, quia pars ejus in Domini offertur incensum. Sanctum sanctorum erit, sicut pro peccato atque delicto.

17 It shall not be baken with leaven. I have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire; it is most holy, as is the sin offering, and as the trespass offering.

יא. כָּל זָכָר בִּבְנֵי אַהֲרֹן יֹאכְלֶנָּה חָק עוֹלָם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם מֵאִשֵּׁי יְהֹוָה כֹּל אֲשֶׁר יִגַּע בָּהֶם יִקְדָּשׁ:

πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν τῶν ἱερέων ἔδονται αὐτήν νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν ἀπὸ τῶν καρπωμάτων κυρίου πᾶς ὃς ἐὰν ἅψηται αὐτῶν ἁγιασθήσεται

Mares tantum stirpis Aaron comedent illud. Legitimum ac sempiternum erit in generationibus vestris de sacrificiis Domini: omnis qui tetigerit illa, sanctificabitur.

18 All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations concerning the offerings of the LORD made by fire: every one that toucheth them shall be holy.

יב. וַיְדַבֵּר יְהֹוָה אֶל משֶׁה לֵּאמֹר:

καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:

19 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

יג. זֶה קָרְבַּן אַהֲרֹן וּבָנָיו אֲשֶׁר יַקְרִיבוּ לַיהֹוָה בְּיוֹם הִמָּשַׁח אֹתוֹ עֲשִׂירִת הָאֵפָה סֹלֶת מִנְחָה תָּמִיד מַחֲצִיתָהּ בַּבֹּקֶר וּמַחֲצִיתָהּ בָּעָרֶב:

τοῦτο τὸ δῶρον Ααρων καὶ τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ ὃ προσοίσουσιν κυρίῳ ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ᾗ ἂν χρίσῃς αὐτόν τὸ δέκατον τοῦ οιφι σεμιδάλεως εἰς θυσίαν διὰ παντός τὸ ἥμισυ αὐτῆς τὸ πρωὶ καὶ τὸ ἥμισυ αὐτῆς τὸ δειλινόν

Hæc est oblatio Aaron, et filiorum ejus, quam offerre debent Domino in die unctionis suæ. Decimam partem ephi offerent similæ in sacrificio sempiterno, medium ejus mane, et medium ejus vespere:

20 This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the LORD in the day when he is anointed; the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meat offering perpetual, half of it in the morning, and half thereof at night.

יד. עַל מַחֲבַת בַּשֶּׁמֶן תֵּעָשֶׂה מֻרְבֶּכֶת תְּבִיאֶנָּה תֻּפִינֵי מִנְחַת פִּתִּים תַּקְרִיב רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ לַיהֹוָה:

ἐπὶ τηγάνου ἐν ἐλαίῳ ποιηθήσεται πεφυραμένην οἴσει αὐτήν ἑλικτά θυσίαν ἐκ κλασμάτων θυσίαν ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας κυρίῳ

quæ in sartagine oleo conspersa frigetur. Offeret autem eam calidam in odorem suavissimum Domino

21 In a pan it shall be made with oil; and when it is baken, thou shalt bring it in: and the baken pieces of the meat offering shalt thou offer for a sweet savour unto the LORD.

טו. וְהַכֹּהֵן הַמָּשִׁיחַ תַּחְתָּיו מִבָּנָיו יַעֲשֶׂה אֹתָהּ חָק עוֹלָם לַיהֹוָה כָּלִיל תָּקְטָר:

ὁ ἱερεὺς ὁ χριστὸς ἀντ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ ποιήσει αὐτήν νόμος αἰώνιος ἅπαν ἐπιτελεσθήσεται

sacerdos, qui jure patri successerit, et tota cremabitur in altari.

22 And the priest of his sons that is anointed in his stead shall offer it: it is a statute for ever unto the LORD; it shall be wholly burnt.

טז. וְכָל מִנְחַת כֹּהֵן כָּלִיל תִּהְיֶה לֹא תֵאָכֵל:

καὶ πᾶσα θυσία ἱερέως ὁλόκαυτος ἔσται καὶ οὐ βρωθήσεται

Omne enim sacrificium sacerdotum igne consumetur, nec quisquam comedet ex eo.

23 For every meat offering for the priest shall be wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten.

יז. וַיְדַבֵּר יְהֹוָה אֶל משֶׁה לֵּאמֹר:

καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

Locutus est autem Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:

24 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

יח. דַּבֵּר אֶל אַהֲרֹן וְאֶל בָּנָיו לֵאמֹר זֹאת תּוֹרַת הַחַטָּאת בִּמְקוֹם אֲשֶׁר תִּשָּׁחֵט הָעֹלָה תִּשָּׁחֵט הַחַטָּאת לִפְנֵי יְהֹוָה קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים הִוא:

λάλησον Ααρων καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ λέγων οὗτος ὁ νόμος τῆς ἁμαρτίας ἐν τόπῳ οὗ σφάζουσιν τὸ ὁλοκαύτωμα σφάξουσιν τὰ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ἔναντι κυρίου ἅγια ἁγίων ἐστίν

Loquere Aaron et filiis ejus: Ista est lex hostiæ pro peccato: in loco ubi offertur holocaustum, immolabitur coram Domino. Sanctum sanctorum est.

25 Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the LORD: it is most holy.

יט. הַכֹּהֵן הַמְחַטֵּא אֹתָהּ יֹאכְלֶנָּה בְּמָקוֹם קָדשׁ תֵּאָכֵל בַּחֲצַר אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד:

ὁ ἱερεὺς ὁ ἀναφέρων αὐτὴν ἔδεται αὐτήν ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ βρωθήσεται ἐν αὐλῇ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου

Sacerdos, qui offert, comedet eam in loco sancto, in atrio tabernaculi.

26 The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.

כ. כֹּל אֲשֶׁר יִגַּע בִּבְשָׂרָהּ יִקְדָּשׁ וַאֲשֶׁר יִזֶּה מִדָּמָהּ עַל הַבֶּגֶד אֲשֶׁר יִזֶּה עָלֶיהָ תְּכַבֵּס בְּמָקוֹם קָדשׁ:

πᾶς ὁ ἁπτόμενος τῶν κρεῶν αὐτῆς ἁγιασθήσεται καὶ ᾧ ἐὰν ἐπιρραντισθῇ ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος αὐτῆς ἐπὶ τὸ ἱμάτιον ὃ ἐὰν ῥαντισθῇ ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ πλυθήσεται ἐν τόπῳ ἁγίῳ

Quidquid tetigerit carnes ejus, sanctificabitur. Si de sanguine illius vestis fuerit aspersa, lavabitur in loco sancto.

27 Whatsoever shall touch the flesh thereof shall be holy: and when there is sprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash that whereon it was sprinkled in the holy place.

כא. וּכְלִי חֶרֶשׂ אֲשֶׁר תְּבֻשַּׁל בּוֹ יִשָּׁבֵר וְאִם בִּכְלִי נְחשֶׁת בֻּשָּׁלָה וּמֹרַק וְשֻׁטַּף בַּמָּיִם:

καὶ σκεῦος ὀστράκινον οὗ ἐὰν ἑψηθῇ ἐν αὐτῷ συντριβήσεται ἐὰν δὲ ἐν σκεύει χαλκῷ ἑψηθῇ ἐκτρίψει αὐτὸ καὶ ἐκκλύσει ὕδατι

Vas autem fictile, in quo cocta est, confringetur; quod si vas æneum fuerit, defricabitur, et lavabitur aqua.

28 But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken: and if it be sodden in a brasen pot, it shall be both scoured, and rinsed in water.

כב. כָּל זָכָר בַּכֹּהֲנִים יֹאכַל אֹתָהּ קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים הִוא:

πᾶς ἄρσην ἐν τοῖς ἱερεῦσιν φάγεται αὐτά ἅγια ἁγίων ἐστὶν κυρίου

Omnis masculus de genere sacerdotali vescetur de carnibus ejus, quia Sanctum sanctorum est.

29 All the males among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy.

כג. וְכָל חַטָּאת אֲשֶׁר יוּבָא מִדָּמָהּ אֶל אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד לְכַפֵּר בַּקֹּדֶשׁ לֹא תֵאָכֵל בָּאֵשׁ תִּשָּׂרֵף:

καὶ πάντα τὰ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ὧν ἐὰν εἰσενεχθῇ ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος αὐτῶν εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἐξιλάσασθαι ἐν τῷ ἁγίῳ οὐ βρωθήσεται ἐν πυρὶ κατακαυθήσεται

Hostia enim quæ cæditur pro peccato, cujus sanguis infertur in tabernaculum testimonii ad expiandum in sanctuario, non comedetur, sed comburetur igni.

30 And no sin offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to reconcile withal in the holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be burnt in the fire.
