2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

ג. שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים תֵּעָשֶׂה מְלָאכָה וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי שַׁבַּת שַׁבָּתוֹן מִקְרָא קֹדֶשׁ כָּל מְלָאכָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ שַׁבָּת הִוא לַיהֹוָה בְּכֹל מוֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶם:

ἓξ ἡμέρας ποιήσεις ἔργα καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ σάββατα ἀνάπαυσις κλητὴ ἁγία τῷ κυρίῳ πᾶν ἔργον οὐ ποιήσεις σάββατά ἐστιν τῷ κυρίῳ ἐν πάσῃ κατοικίᾳ ὑμῶν

Sex diebus facietis opus: dies septimus, quia sabbati requies est, vocabitur sanctus: omne opus non facietis in eo: sabbatum Domini est in cunctis habitationibus vestris.

3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

ד. אֵלֶּה מוֹעֲדֵי יְהֹוָה מִקְרָאֵי קֹדֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר תִּקְרְאוּ אֹתָם בְּמוֹעֲדָם:

αὗται αἱ ἑορταὶ τῷ κυρίῳ κληταὶ ἅγιαι ἃς καλέσετε αὐτὰς ἐν τοῖς καιροῖς αὐτῶν

Hæ sunt ergo feriæ Domini sanctæ, quas celebrare debetis temporibus suis.

4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

ה. בַּחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן בְּאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר לַחֹדֶשׁ בֵּין הָעַרְבָּיִם פֶּסַח לַיהֹוָה:

ἐν τῷ πρώτῳ μηνὶ ἐν τῇ τεσσαρεσκαιδεκάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ μηνὸς ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ἑσπερινῶν πάσχα τῷ κυρίῳ

Mense primo, quartadecima die mensis ad vesperum, Phase Domini est:

5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD's passover.

ו. וּבַחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ הַזֶּה חַג הַמַּצּוֹת לַיהֹוָה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים מַצּוֹת תֹּאכֵלוּ:

καὶ ἐν τῇ πεντεκαιδεκάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ μηνὸς τούτου ἑορτὴ τῶν ἀζύμων τῷ κυρίῳ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἄζυμα ἔδεσθε

et quintadecima die mensis hujus, solemnitas azymorum Domini est. Septem diebus azyma comedetis.

6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.

ז. בַּיּוֹם הָרִאשׁוֹן מִקְרָא קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם כָּל מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ:

καὶ ἡ ἡμέρα ἡ πρώτη κλητὴ ἁγία ἔσται ὑμῖν πᾶν ἔργον λατρευτὸν οὐ ποιήσετε

Dies primus erit vobis celeberrimus, sanctusque: omne opus servile non facietis in eo,

7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

ח. וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם אִשֶּׁה לַיהֹוָה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי מִקְרָא קֹדֶשׁ כָּל מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ:

καὶ προσάξετε ὁλοκαυτώματα τῷ κυρίῳ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας καὶ ἡ ἑβδόμη ἡμέρα κλητὴ ἁγία ἔσται ὑμῖν πᾶν ἔργον λατρευτὸν οὐ ποιήσετε

sed offeretis sacrificium in igne Domino septem diebus. Dies autem septimus erit celebrior et sanctior: nullumque servile opus facietis in eo.

8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

ט. וַיְדַבֵּר יְהֹוָה אֶל משֶׁה לֵּאמֹר:

καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:

9 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

י. דַּבֵּר אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם כִּי תָבֹאוּ אֶל הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי נֹתֵן לָכֶם וּקְצַרְתֶּם אֶת קְצִירָהּ וַהֲבֵאתֶם אֶת עֹמֶר רֵאשִׁית קְצִירְכֶם אֶל הַכֹּהֵן:

εἰπὸν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ὅταν εἰσέλθητε εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν ἐγὼ δίδωμι ὑμῖν καὶ θερίζητε τὸν θερισμὸν αὐτῆς καὶ οἴσετε δράγμα ἀπαρχὴν τοῦ θερισμοῦ ὑμῶν πρὸς τὸν ἱερέα

Loquere filiis Israël, et dices ad eos: Cum ingressi fueritis terram, quam ego dabo vobis, et messueritis segetem, feretis manipulos spicarum, primitias messis vestræ, ad sacerdotem:

10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:

יא. וְהֵנִיף אֶת הָעֹמֶר לִפְנֵי יְהֹוָה לִרְצֹנְכֶם מִמָּחֳרַת הַשַּׁבָּת יְנִיפֶנּוּ הַכֹּהֵן:

καὶ ἀνοίσει τὸ δράγμα ἔναντι κυρίου δεκτὸν ὑμῖν τῇ ἐπαύριον τῆς πρώτης ἀνοίσει αὐτὸ ὁ ἱερεύς

qui elevabit fasciculum coram Domino, ut acceptabile sit pro vobis, altero die sabbati, et sanctificabit illum.

11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.

יב. וַעֲשִׂיתֶם בְּיוֹם הֲנִיפְכֶם אֶת הָעֹמֶר כֶּבֶשׂ תָּמִים בֶּן שְׁנָתוֹ לְעֹלָה לַיהֹוָה:

καὶ ποιήσετε ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐν ᾗ ἂν φέρητε τὸ δράγμα πρόβατον ἄμωμον ἐνιαύσιον εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα τῷ κυρίῳ

Atque in eodem die quo manipulus consecratur, cædetur agnus immaculatus anniculus in holocaustum Domini.

12 And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD.

יג. וּמִנְחָתוֹ שְׁנֵי עֶשְׂרֹנִים סֹלֶת בְּלוּלָה בַשֶּׁמֶן אִשֶּׁה לַיהֹוָה רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ וְנִסְכּוֹ יַיִן רְבִיעִת הַהִין:

καὶ τὴν θυσίαν αὐτοῦ δύο δέκατα σεμιδάλεως ἀναπεποιημένης ἐν ἐλαίῳ θυσία τῷ κυρίῳ ὀσμὴ εὐωδίας κυρίῳ καὶ σπονδὴν αὐτοῦ τὸ τέταρτον τοῦ ιν οἴνου

Et libamenta offerentur cum eo, duæ decimæ similæ conspersæ oleo in incensum Domini, odoremque suavissimum: liba quoque vini, quarta pars hin.

13 And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD for a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.

יד. וְלֶחֶם וְקָלִי וְכַרְמֶל לֹא תֹאכְלוּ עַד עֶצֶם הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה עַד הֲבִיאֲכֶם אֶת קָרְבַּן אֱלֹהֵיכֶם חֻקַּת עוֹלָם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם בְּכֹל משְׁבֹתֵיכֶם:

καὶ ἄρτον καὶ πεφρυγμένα χίδρα νέα οὐ φάγεσθε ἕως εἰς αὐτὴν τὴν ἡμέραν ταύτην ἕως ἂν προσενέγκητε ὑμεῖς τὰ δῶρα τῷ θεῷ ὑμῶν νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν ἐν πάσῃ κατοικίᾳ ὑμῶν

Panem, et polentam, et pultes non comedetis ex segete, usque ad diem qua offeretis ex ea Deo vestro. Præceptum est sempiternum in generationibus, cunctisque habitaculis vestris.

14 And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

טו. וּסְפַרְתֶּם לָכֶם מִמָּחֳרַת הַשַּׁבָּת מִיּוֹם הֲבִיאֲכֶם אֶת עֹמֶר הַתְּנוּפָה שֶׁבַע שַׁבָּתוֹת תְּמִימֹת תִּהְיֶינָה:

καὶ ἀριθμήσετε ὑμεῖς ἀπὸ τῆς ἐπαύριον τῶν σαββάτων ἀπὸ τῆς ἡμέρας ἧς ἂν προσενέγκητε τὸ δράγμα τοῦ ἐπιθέματος ἑπτὰ ἑβδομάδας ὁλοκλήρους

Numerabitis ergo ab altero die sabbati, in quo obtulistis manipulum primitiarum, septem hebdomadas plenas,

15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:

טז. עַד מִמָּחֳרַת הַשַּׁבָּת הַשְּׁבִיעִת תִּסְפְּרוּ חֲמִשִּׁים יוֹם וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם מִנְחָה חֲדָשָׁה לַיהֹוָה:

ἕως τῆς ἐπαύριον τῆς ἐσχάτης ἑβδομάδος ἀριθμήσετε πεντήκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ προσοίσετε θυσίαν νέαν τῷ κυρίῳ

usque ad alteram diem expletionis hebdomadæ septimæ, id est, quinquaginta dies: et sic offeretis sacrificium novum Domino

16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.

יז. מִמּוֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶם תָּבִיאוּ לֶחֶם תְּנוּפָה שְׁתַּיִם שְׁנֵי עֶשְׂרֹנִים סֹלֶת תִּהְיֶינָה חָמֵץ תֵּאָפֶינָה בִּכּוּרִים לַיהֹוָה:

ἀπὸ τῆς κατοικίας ὑμῶν προσοίσετε ἄρτους ἐπίθεμα δύο ἄρτους ἐκ δύο δεκάτων σεμιδάλεως ἔσονται ἐζυμωμένοι πεφθήσονται πρωτογενημάτων τῷ κυρίῳ

ex omnibus habitaculis vestris, panes primitiarum duos de duabus decimis similæ fermentatæ, quos coquetis in primitias Domini.

17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals; they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.

יח. וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם עַל הַלֶּחֶם שִׁבְעַת כְּבָשִׂים תְּמִימִם בְּנֵי שָׁנָה וּפַר בֶּן בָּקָר אֶחָד וְאֵילִם שְׁנָיִם יִהְיוּ עֹלָה לַיהֹוָה וּמִנְחָתָם וְנִסְכֵּיהֶם אִשֵּׁה רֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ לַיהֹוָה:

καὶ προσάξετε μετὰ τῶν ἄρτων ἑπτὰ ἀμνοὺς ἀμώμους ἐνιαυσίους καὶ μόσχον ἕνα ἐκ βουκολίου καὶ κριοὺς δύο ἀμώμους ἔσονται ὁλοκαύτωμα τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ αἱ θυσίαι αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ σπονδαὶ αὐτῶν θυσίαν ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας τῷ κυρίῳ

Offeretisque cum panibus septem agnos immaculatos anniculos, et vitulum de armento unum, et arietes duos, et erunt in holocaustum cum libamentis suis, in odorem suavissimum Domini.

18 And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD.

יט. וַעֲשִׂיתֶם שְׂעִיר עִזִּים אֶחָד לְחַטָּאת וּשְׁנֵי כְבָשִׂים בְּנֵי שָׁנָה לְזֶבַח שְׁלָמִים:

καὶ ποιήσουσιν χίμαρον ἐξ αἰγῶν ἕνα περὶ ἁμαρτίας καὶ δύο ἀμνοὺς ἐνιαυσίους εἰς θυσίαν σωτηρίου μετὰ τῶν ἄρτων τοῦ πρωτογενήματος

Facietis et hircum pro peccato, duosque agnos anniculos hostias pacificorum.

19 Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.

כ. וְהֵנִיף הַכֹּהֵן אֹתָם עַל לֶחֶם הַבִּכֻּרִים תְּנוּפָה לִפְנֵי יְהֹוָה עַל שְׁנֵי כְּבָשִׂים קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיוּ לַיהֹוָה לַכֹּהֵן:

καὶ ἐπιθήσει αὐτὰ ὁ ἱερεὺς μετὰ τῶν ἄρτων τοῦ πρωτογενήματος ἐπίθεμα ἔναντι κυρίου μετὰ τῶν δύο ἀμνῶν ἅγια ἔσονται τῷ κυρίῳ τῷ ἱερεῖ τῷ προσφέροντι αὐτὰ αὐτῷ ἔσται

Cumque elevaverit eos sacerdos cum panibus primitiarum coram Domino, cedent in usum ejus.

20 And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest.

כא. וּקְרָאתֶם בְּעֶצֶם הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה מִקְרָא קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם כָּל מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ חֻקַּת עוֹלָם בְּכָל מוֹשְׁבֹתֵיכֶם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם:

καὶ καλέσετε ταύτην τὴν ἡμέραν κλητήν ἁγία ἔσται ὑμῖν πᾶν ἔργον λατρευτὸν οὐ ποιήσετε ἐν αὐτῇ νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν ἐν πάσῃ τῇ κατοικίᾳ ὑμῶν

Et vocabitis hunc diem celeberrimum, atque sanctissimum: omne opus servile non facietis in eo. Legitimum sempiternum erit in cunctis habitaculis, et generationibus vestris.

21 And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

כב. וּבְקֻצְרְכֶם אֶת קְצִיר אַרְצְכֶם לֹא תְכַלֶּה פְּאַת שָׂדְךָ בְּקֻצְרֶךָ וְלֶקֶט קְצִירְךָ לֹא תְלַקֵּט לֶעָנִי וְלַגֵּר תַּעֲזֹב אֹתָם אֲנִי יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם:

καὶ ὅταν θερίζητε τὸν θερισμὸν τῆς γῆς ὑμῶν οὐ συντελέσετε τὸ λοιπὸν τοῦ θερισμοῦ τοῦ ἀγροῦ σου ἐν τῷ θερίζειν σε καὶ τὰ ἀποπίπτοντα τοῦ θερισμοῦ σου οὐ συλλέξεις τῷ πτωχῷ καὶ τῷ προσηλύτῳ ὑπολείψῃ αὐτά ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν

Postquam autem messueritis segetem terræ vestræ, nec secabitis eam usque ad solum, nec remanentes spicas colligetis: sed pauperibus et peregrinis dimittetis eas. Ego sum Dominus Deus vester.

22 And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am the LORD your God.

כג. וַיְדַבֵּר יְהֹוָה אֶל משֶׁה לֵּאמֹר:

καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:

23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

כד. דַּבֵּר אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם שַׁבָּתוֹן זִכְרוֹן תְּרוּעָה מִקְרָא קֹדֶשׁ:

λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ λέγων τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ ἑβδόμου μιᾷ τοῦ μηνὸς ἔσται ὑμῖν ἀνάπαυσις μνημόσυνον σαλπίγγων κλητὴ ἁγία ἔσται ὑμῖν

Loquere filiis Israël: Mense septimo, prima die mensis, erit vobis sabbatum, memoriale, clangentibus tubis, et vocabitur sanctum:

24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

כה. כָּל מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם אִשֶּׁה לַיהֹוָה:

πᾶν ἔργον λατρευτὸν οὐ ποιήσετε καὶ προσάξετε ὁλοκαύτωμα κυρίῳ

omne opus servile non facietis in eo, et offeretis holocaustum Domino.

25 Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

כו. וַיְדַבֵּר יְהֹוָה אֶל משֶׁה לֵּאמֹר:

καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:

26 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

כז. אַךְ בֶּעָשׂוֹר לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי הַזֶּה יוֹם הַכִּפֻּרִים הוּא מִקְרָא קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם וְעִנִּיתֶם אֶת נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם אִשֶּׁה לַיהֹוָה:

καὶ τῇ δεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ ἑβδόμου τούτου ἡμέρα ἐξιλασμοῦ κλητὴ ἁγία ἔσται ὑμῖν καὶ ταπεινώσετε τὰς ψυχὰς ὑμῶν καὶ προσάξετε ὁλοκαύτωμα τῷ κυρίῳ

Decimo die mensis hujus septimi, dies expiationum erit celeberrimus, et vocabitur sanctus: affligetisque animas vestras in eo, et offeretis holocaustum Domino.

27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

כח. וְכָל מְלָאכָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ בְּעֶצֶם הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה כִּי יוֹם כִּפֻּרִים הוּא לְכַפֵּר עֲלֵיכֶם לִפְנֵי יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם:

πᾶν ἔργον οὐ ποιήσετε ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ ἔστιν γὰρ ἡμέρα ἐξιλασμοῦ αὕτη ὑμῖν ἐξιλάσασθαι περὶ ὑμῶν ἔναντι κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ὑμῶν

Omne opus servile non facietis in tempore diei hujus: quia dies propitiationis est, ut propitietur vobis Dominus Deus vester.

28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.

כט. כִּי כָל הַנֶּפֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר לֹא תְעֻנֶּה בְּעֶצֶם הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה וְנִכְרְתָה מֵעַמֶּיהָ:

πᾶσα ψυχή ἥτις μὴ ταπεινωθήσεται ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ ἐξολεθρευθήσεται ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτῆς

Omnis anima, quæ afflicta non fuerit die hac, peribit de populis suis:

29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.

ל. וְכָל הַנֶּפֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר תַּעֲשֶׂה כָּל מְלָאכָה בְּעֶצֶם הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה וְהַאֲבַדְתִּי אֶת הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא מִקֶּרֶב עַמָּהּ:

καὶ πᾶσα ψυχή ἥτις ποιήσει ἔργον ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ ἀπολεῖται ἡ ψυχὴ ἐκείνη ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτῆς

et quæ operis quippiam fecerit, delebo eam de populo suo.

30 And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

לא. כָּל מְלָאכָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ חֻקַּת עוֹלָם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם בְּכֹל משְׁבֹתֵיכֶם:

πᾶν ἔργον οὐ ποιήσετε νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν ἐν πάσαις κατοικίαις ὑμῶν

Nihil ergo operis facietis in eo: legitimum sempiternum erit vobis in cunctis generationibus, et habitationibus vestris.

31 Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

לב. שַׁבַּת שַׁבָּתוֹן הוּא לָכֶם וְעִנִּיתֶם אֶת נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם בְּתִשְׁעָה לַחֹדֶשׁ בָּעֶרֶב מֵעֶרֶב עַד עֶרֶב תִּשְׁבְּתוּ שַׁבַּתְּכֶם:

σάββατα σαββάτων ἔσται ὑμῖν καὶ ταπεινώσετε τὰς ψυχὰς ὑμῶν ἀπὸ ἐνάτης τοῦ μηνὸς ἀπὸ ἑσπέρας ἕως ἑσπέρας σαββατιεῖτε τὰ σάββατα ὑμῶν

Sabbatum requietionis est, et affligetis animas vestras die nono mensis: a vespera usque ad vesperam celebrabitis sabbata vestra.

32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

לג. וַיְדַבֵּר יְהֹוָה אֶל משֶׁה לֵּאמֹר:

καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

Et locutus est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:

33 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

לד. דַּבֵּר אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר בַּחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי הַזֶּה חַג הַסֻּכּוֹת שִׁבְעַת יָמִים לַיהֹוָה:

λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ λέγων τῇ πεντεκαιδεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ ἑβδόμου τούτου ἑορτὴ σκηνῶν ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας τῷ κυρίῳ

Loquere filiis Israël: A quintodecimo die mensis hujus septimi, erunt feriæ tabernaculorum septem diebus Domino.

34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.

לה. בַּיּוֹם הָרִאשׁוֹן מִקְרָא קֹדֶשׁ כָּל מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ:

καὶ ἡ ἡμέρα ἡ πρώτη κλητὴ ἁγία πᾶν ἔργον λατρευτὸν οὐ ποιήσετε

Dies primus vocabitur celeberrimus atque sanctissimus: omne opus servile non facietis in eo.

35 On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

לו. שִׁבְעַת יָמִים תַּקְרִיבוּ אִשֶּׁה לַיהֹוָה בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי מִקְרָא קֹדֶשׁ יִהְיֶה לָכֶם וְהִקְרַבְתֶּם אִשֶּׁה לַיהֹוָה עֲצֶרֶת הִוא כָּל מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ:

ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας προσάξετε ὁλοκαυτώματα τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ ἡ ἡμέρα ἡ ὀγδόη κλητὴ ἁγία ἔσται ὑμῖν καὶ προσάξετε ὁλοκαυτώματα τῷ κυρίῳ ἐξόδιόν ἐστιν πᾶν ἔργον λατρευτὸν οὐ ποιήσετε

Et septem diebus offeretis holocausta Domino. Dies quoque octavus erit celeberrimus, atque sanctissimus, et offeretis holocaustum Domino: est enim cœtus atque collectæ: omne opus servile non facietis in eo.

36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.

לז. אֵלֶּה מוֹעֲדֵי יְהֹוָה אֲשֶׁר תִּקְרְאוּ אֹתָם מִקְרָאֵי קֹדֶשׁ לְהַקְרִיב אִשֶּׁה לַיהֹוָה עֹלָה וּמִנְחָה זֶבַח וּנְסָכִים דְּבַר יוֹם בְּיוֹמוֹ:

αὗται αἱ ἑορταὶ κυρίῳ ἃς καλέσετε κλητὰς ἁγίας ὥστε προσενέγκαι καρπώματα τῷ κυρίῳ ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ θυσίας αὐτῶν καὶ σπονδὰς αὐτῶν τὸ καθ᾽ ἡμέραν εἰς ἡμέραν

Hæ sunt feriæ Domini, quas vocabitis celeberrimas atque sanctissimas, offeretisque in eis oblationes Domino, holocausta et libamenta juxta ritum uniuscujusque diei:

37 These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:

לח. מִלְּבַד שַׁבְּתֹת יְהֹוָה וּמִלְּבַד מַתְּנוֹתֵיכֶם וּמִלְּבַד כָּל נִדְרֵיכֶם וּמִלְּבַד כָּל נִדְבֹתֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר תִּתְּנוּ לַיהֹוָה:

πλὴν τῶν σαββάτων κυρίου καὶ πλὴν τῶν δομάτων ὑμῶν καὶ πλὴν πασῶν τῶν εὐχῶν ὑμῶν καὶ πλὴν τῶν ἑκουσίων ὑμῶν ἃ ἂν δῶτε τῷ κυρίῳ

exceptis sabbatis Domini, donisque vestris, et quæ offeretis ex voto, vel quæ sponte tribuetis Domino.

38 Beside the sabbaths of the LORD, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the LORD.

לט. אַךְ בַּחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי בְּאָסְפְּכֶם אֶת תְּבוּאַת הָאָרֶץ תָּחֹגּוּ אֶת חַג יְהֹוָה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים בַּיּוֹם הָרִאשׁוֹן שַׁבָּתוֹן וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי שַׁבָּתוֹן:

καὶ ἐν τῇ πεντεκαιδεκάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ ἑβδόμου τούτου ὅταν συντελέσητε τὰ γενήματα τῆς γῆς ἑορτάσετε τῷ κυρίῳ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ πρώτῃ ἀνάπαυσις καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ὀγδόῃ ἀνάπαυσις

A quintodecimo ergo die mensis septimi, quando congregaveritis omnes fructus terræ vestræ, celebrabitis ferias Domini septem diebus: die primo et die octavo erit sabbatum, id est, requies.

39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

מ. וּלְקַחְתֶּם לָכֶם בַּיּוֹם הָרִאשׁוֹן פְּרִי עֵץ הָדָר כַּפֹּת תְּמָרִים וַעֲנַף עֵץ עָבֹת וְעַרְבֵי נָחַל וּשְׂמַחְתֶּם לִפְנֵי יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם שִׁבְעַת יָמִים:

καὶ λήμψεσθε τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ πρώτῃ καρπὸν ξύλου ὡραῖον καὶ κάλλυνθρα φοινίκων καὶ κλάδους ξύλου δασεῖς καὶ ἰτέας καὶ ἄγνου κλάδους ἐκ χειμάρρου εὐφρανθῆναι ἔναντι κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ὑμῶν ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας

Sumetisque vobis die primo fructus arboris pulcherrimæ, spatulasque palmarum, et ramos ligni densarum frondium, et salices de torrente, et lætabimini coram Domino Deo vestro.

40 And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.

מא. וְחַגֹּתֶם אֹתוֹ חַג לַיהֹוָה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים בַּשָּׁנָה חֻקַּת עוֹלָם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי תָּחֹגּוּ אֹתוֹ:

τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ ἑβδόμῳ ἑορτάσετε αὐτήν

Celebrabitisque solemnitatem ejus septem diebus per annum: legitimum sempiternum erit in generationibus vestris. Mense septimo festa celebrabitis,

41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

מב. בַּסֻּכֹּת תֵּשְׁבוּ שִׁבְעַת יָמִים כָּל הָאֶזְרָח בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל יֵשְׁבוּ בַּסֻּכֹּת:

ἐν σκηναῖς κατοικήσετε ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας πᾶς ὁ αὐτόχθων ἐν Ισραηλ κατοικήσει ἐν σκηναῖς

et habitabitis in umbraculis septem diebus: omnis, qui de genere est Israël, manebit in tabernaculis,

42 Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:

מג. לְמַעַן יֵדְעוּ דֹרֹתֵיכֶם כִּי בַסֻּכּוֹת הוֹשַׁבְתִּי אֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּהוֹצִיאִי אוֹתָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם אֲנִי יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם:

ὅπως ἴδωσιν αἱ γενεαὶ ὑμῶν ὅτι ἐν σκηναῖς κατῴκισα τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ ἐν τῷ ἐξαγαγεῖν με αὐτοὺς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν

ut discant posteri vestri quod in tabernaculis habitare fecerim filios Israël, cum educerem eos de terra Ægypti. Ego Dominus Deus vester.

43 That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

מד. וַיְדַבֵּר משֶׁה אֶת מֹעֲדֵי יְהֹוָה אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל:

καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωυσῆς τὰς ἑορτὰς κυρίου τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ

Locutusque est Moyses super solemnitatibus Domini ad filios Israël.

44 And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.
