Darius the King says: When I killed Gaumâta, the Magus, after that, one man, Âssina by name, the son of Upadarma – he rose up in Elam. To the people thus he said, "I am king in Elam". After that, the Elamites became rebellious (and) went over to that Âssina. He became king in Elam.
