Darius the King says: By the favour of Ahuramazda I this (is) my inscription which I made. Moreover it was in Aryan, and on tablets and on parchment it was composed. Moreover I made a sculptured figure of myself. Moreover I made my lineage, and it was inscribed and read before me. After that this inscription I sent everywhere among the countries. The people co-operated.
