(klapper hende på kindet).
Du tænker nu også på alting, du, tante Julle! (lægger hatten på en stol ved bordet.) Og så, – ser du, – så slår vi os ned her i sofaen. Og prater lidt sammen til Hedda kommer.
(de sætter sig. Hun stiller sin parasol i sofahjørnet.)
TESMAN.
[Patting her cheek.]
You always think of everything, Aunt Julia. [Lays the bonnet on a chair beside the table.] And now, look here--suppose we sit comfortably on the sofa and have a little chat, till Hedda comes.
[They seat themselves. She places her parasol in the corner of the sofa.]
TESMAN
(tätschelt ihr die Wange.)
Du denkst doch an Alles, du gute Tante Julle! (legt den Hut auf einen Stuhl beim Tische.)
Und jetzt – siehst du – jetzt setzen wir uns aufs Sopha – und plaudern ein wenig mit einander, bis Hedda kommt.
(Sie setzen sich, FRL. TESMAN stellt ihren Sonnenschirm in die Ecke beim Ofen.)

（轻轻拍拍她的脸）
难为你老是想得那么周到，朱黎阿姑姑。（把帽子搁在桌边的一张椅子上）现在海达还没出来，咱们先舒舒服服坐在沙发上说说话儿。（两人一同坐下。泰斯曼小姐把阳伞搁在沙发角里。
