Note on the transliteration:
The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).
 
Important:
We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

(24)以眾教罪謗清淨苾芻學處第六十九
(25)佛在王舍城竹林園中。(26)時蜜呾羅步弭迦見實力子。披衣拂著蓮花色苾芻尼頭。(27)遂便謗彼犯眾教罪。由同梵行事不忍。(28)不寂靜煩惱。制斯學處。(29)若復苾芻瞋恚故。知彼苾芻清淨無犯。(597a1)以無根僧伽伐尸沙法謗者。波逸底迦。(2)言無根者。謂無見聞疑根。僧伽伐尸沙者。(3)於十三中隨一一事謗者。謂非理出言。(4)於不淨人有十一事成犯。六事非犯。(5)於清淨人十事成犯。五事無犯。如上應知。(6)以眾教謗便得墮罪。若窣吐羅罪謗。若謗授學人。(7)若前人不領解語。咸得惡作。淨與不淨作淨想疑。(8)得波逸底迦。作不淨心。得惡作罪。(9)有說雖非苾芻作苾芻想。而謗他者。亦得墮罪。
