AUNE.
Mr. Bernick, you might just as well name this afternoon as the limit.

博尼克先生，其实您限我今天下午开船也一样。

KONSUL BERNICK.
De mener, at jeg forlanger umuligheder?

BERNICK.
Sie meinen, ich verlange Unmögliches?

BERNICK.
You mean that I am asking an impossibility?

博尼克
你是不是说后天开船绝对办不到?

SKIBSBYGGER AUNE.
Ja, med den arbejdsstok, vi nu har –

AUNE.
Mit dem Stamm von Arbeitern, den wir jetzt haben –

AUNE.
Yes, with the hands we have now at the yard.

不错，咱们厂里总共只有那么些工人--

KONSUL BERNICK.
Godt, godt; – så får vi se os om andetsteds.

BERNICK.
Gut, gut, – so müssen wir uns anderweitig umsehen.

BERNICK.
Very good; then we must look about elsewhere.

博尼克
好吧，那么咱们只好到别处想法子。

SKIBSBYGGER AUNE.
Vil De virkelig afskedige endnu flere af de gamle arbejdere?

AUNE.
Wollen Sie wirklich noch mehr von unsern alten Arbeitern entlassen?

AUNE.
Do you really mean, sir, to discharge still more of your old workmen?

先生，您是不是想再开除几个老工人?

KONSUL BERNICK.
Nej, det tænker jeg ikke på.

BERNICK.
Nein, das ist nicht meine Absicht.

BERNICK.
No, I am not thinking of that.

博尼克
不，我没这意思。

SKIBSBYGGER AUNE.
For jeg tror nok, det vilde sætte ondt blod både i byen og i aviserne, om De gjorde det.

AUNE.
Es würde auch meines Erachtens böses Blut machen, wenn Sie das täten, in der Stadt – wie in den Zeitungen.

AUNE.
Because I think it would cause bad blood against you both among the townsfolk and in the papers, if you did that.

您要是这么办的话，恐怕地方上的人和各报馆都会说闲话。

KONSUL BERNICK.
Ikke umuligt; derfor lar vi det også være. Men hvis ikke „Indian Girl“ er udklareret iovermorgen, så afskediger jeg Dem.

BERNICK.
Wohl möglich; darum sehe ich auch davon ab. Doch wenn »Indian Girl« übermorgen nicht klar ist, so entlasse ich Sie.

BERNICK.
Very probably; therefore, we will not do it. But, if the “Indian Girl” is not ready to sail the day after tomorrow, I shall discharge you.

博尼克
很可能，所以我不想这么办。可是，要是“印第安少女”号后天走不成，我就开除你。

SKIBSBYGGER AUNE
(med et ryk).
Mig! (han ler.) Nu spøger De, herr konsul.

AUNE
mit einem Ruck.
Mich? Er lacht. Jetzt scherzen Sie, Herr Konsul.

AUNE
(with a start).
Me! (He laughs.) You are joking, Mr. Bernick.

(吓了一跳)
开除我!(大笑起来)博尼克先生，您别跟我开玩笑。

KONSUL BERNICK.
Det skulde De ikke stole på.

BERNICK.
Darauf bauen Sie lieber nicht.

BERNICK.
I should not be so sure of that, if I were you.

博尼克
你别当我跟你开玩笑。
