Ej af dig; du går jo først!

GERD.

BRAND.
Jeg er ringest kryb i muldet.

(ser opad; skyerne letter).
Véd du, hvor du står?

GERD.
[Looks up; the clouds are lifting.]

(blickt hinauf, wo die Wolken sich lichten.)
Weißt Du, wo Du stehst?
