Note on the transliteration:
The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).
 
Important:
We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

atha kasmād asaṃkṛtaṃ dhātuṣv āyataneṣu coktaṃ na tu skandheṣu | 
復次云何。(23)於界入中説無爲。陰中不説。 
何故(18)無爲説在處界。非蘊攝耶。

tad dhi skandheṣūcyamānaṃ na tāvad eteṣv evāntarṇetuṃ śakyate arthāyogāt |  na hi tadrūpaṃ nāpi yāvadvijñānam iti |  na cāpi ṣaṣṭhaḥ skandho vaktuṃ śakyate | kutaḥ | arthāyogāt |  rāśyartho hi skandhārtha ity uktam |  na cāsaṃskṛtam atītādibhedabhinnaṃ rūpādivadyatas tat sarvam aikadhyam abhisaṃkṣipyāsaṃskṛtaskandha iti saṃkhyāṃ gacchet |  saṃkleśavastujñāpanārthaṃ khalūpādānaskandhavacanaṃ saṃkleśavyavadānavastujñāpanārthaṃ skandhavacanaṃ |  na cobhayathā ’py asaṃskṛtam ity arthāyogān na teśu vyavasthāpitam |  yathā ghaṭoparamo na ghaṭa evaṃ skandhoparamo na skandho bhavitum arhatīty apare |  teṣāṃ dhātvāyataneṣv apy eṣa prasaṅgaḥ |  uktaḥ skandhānām anyaḥ prakāraḥ || 
釋曰。若於五陰中説三(25)無爲。不可安立令與陰相符。何以故。義不相(26)應故  云何不相應。此無爲安色中。非色乃至(27)非識。  不可説爲第六陰。何以故。不應陰義故。  (28)陰是聚義前已説。  無爲無過去未來現在等(29)異如色等。由此異一切。攝聚一處可立名無(166a1)爲陰。  爲顯染汚依止故説取陰。爲顯染汚清(2)淨依止故説陰。  此二義於無爲中無由義。不(3)相應故。於陰中不立無爲。  如瓶破壞非瓶。如(4)此陰滅壞不可立爲陰。  餘師説如此。若作此(5)執。於界入中成反質難。  説諸陰別義已。 
(20)論曰。三無爲法不可説在色等蘊中。與色(21)等義不相應故。  謂體非色乃至非識。  亦不(22)可説爲第六蘊。彼與蘊義不相應故。  聚(23)義是蘊。如前具説。  謂無爲法。非如色等有(24)過去等品類差別可略一聚名無爲蘊。  又(25)言取蘊爲顯染依。染淨二依蘊言所顯。  無(26)爲於此二義都無。義不相應故不立蘊。  有(27)説。如瓶破非瓶。如是蘊息應非蘊。  彼於(28)處界例應成失。  如是已説諸蘊廢立。

rūpaṃ hi sapratighatvāt sarvaudārikam | arupiṇāṃ vedanā pracāraudārikatayā |  tathā hi vyapadiśanti haste me vedanā pāde me vedaneti |  dvābhyāṃ caudārikatarā saṃjñā |  vijñānāt saṃskārā ity ato yadaudārikataraṃ tat pūrvam uktam |  athavā anādimati saṃsāre strīpuruṣā anyonyaṃ rūpābhirāmās te ca vedanāsvādagarddhāt |  tadgarddhaḥ saṃjñāviparyāsāt |  tadviparyāsaḥ kleśaiś cittaṃ ca tatsaṃkliṣṭam iti yathāsaṃkleśaṃ ca kramaḥ |  bhājanādyarthena vā |  bhajanabhojanavyañjanakarttṛ bhoktṛbhūtā hi rūpādayaḥ skandhāḥ | dhātuto vā |  kāmaguṇarūpaprabhāvito hi kāmadhātuḥ | vedanāprabhāvitāni dhyānāni |  saṃjñāprabhāvitāḥ trayaḥ ārūpyāḥ |  saṃskāramātraprabhāvitaṃ bhavāgram |  etā eva vijñānasthitayaḥ tāsu ca pratiṣṭhitaṃ vijñānam iti kṣetrabījasaṃdarśanārthaḥ skandhānukramaḥ |  ata eva pañcaskandhā nālpīyāṃso na bhūyāṃsaḥ |  ata eva ca kramakāraṇād vedanāsaṃjñe saṃskārebhyaḥ pṛthaka skandhīkṛte |  yata ete audārikatare saṃkleśānukramahetū bhājanavyañjanabhūte tatprabhāvitaṃ ca dhātudvayam iti || 
釋曰。色者有(7)礙。一切中最麁。無色中受行相麁故。  世間有(8)説。我手痛我脚痛。  想麁於二。  男女等差別(9)易分別故。於識行麁。欲瞋等相易分別故。(10)於中識最細。由自性難分別故。是故最麁於(11)前説。  復次無始生死男女。於色互相愛樂。由(12)貪著愛味。  此貪由想顛倒。  此顛倒由煩惱。(13)此煩惱從染汚心生。如此如染立次第。  復次(14)由器等義立次第。  如器食餚厨人噉者。色等(15)五陰亦爾。復次或由界立次第。  欲界欲塵色(16)所顯。諸定受所顯。  三無色界想所顯。  有頂唯(17)行所顯。  此四即是識住。於四中識能依住。此(18)陰次第。爲顯田種子次第義。  是故唯立五(19)陰。不多不少。  由此立次第因。於行中分受及(20)想。別立爲陰。  由此受想最麁。染汚次第因。(21)受想似食餚。能顯二界故。別立爲陰。 
(2)論曰。色有對故諸蘊中麁。無色中麁唯受行(3)相。  故世説我手等痛言。  待二想麁。  男女等(4)想易了知故。行麁過識。貪瞋等行易了知(5)故。識最爲細。總取境相難分別故。由此(6)隨麁立蘊次第。  或從無始生死已來。男女(7)於色更相愛樂。此由耽著樂受味故。  耽受(8)復因倒想生故。  此倒想生由煩惱故。如是(9)煩惱依識而生。此及前三皆染汚識。由此隨(10)染立蘊次第。  或色如器。  受類飮食。想同助(11)味。行似厨人。識喩食者。故隨器等立蘊次(12)第。或隨界別立蘊次第。  謂欲界中有諸(13)妙欲。色相顯了。色界靜慮有勝喜等。受相顯(14)了。  三無色中取空等相。想相顯了。  第一有中(15)思最爲勝。行相顯了。  此即識住。識住其中(16)顯似世間田種次第。是故諸蘊次第如是。  由(17)此五蘊無増減過。  即由如是諸次第因。離(18)行別立受想二蘊。謂受與想。  於諸行中相(19)麁生染。類食同助。二界中強故別立蘊。
