drug sde rnams kyis mi bzod pa skyes nas smras pa |
caṅ mi smra bar ’dug par (7) bya ba gaṅ yin pa des slar (H201b3) smra’am źes de rnams kyis de smrar bcug nas caṅ mi smra bar ’dug go ||
de rnams kyis de la gleṅ ba ma byas | dran par ma byas śiṅ khas blaṅs pa med par nan gyis gźi med pa’i gnas nas (H201b4) dbyuṅ ba’i las byas so ||
“Old man! You are [a person] who has likes and dislikes.
After all, we came to you first …(as mentioned before)…”; he was offered by all kinds of implements and was sent to the families to eat by you, but not us.
Elders! what was wrong?
Ṣaḍvargikas whose anger arose said,
“it’s inappropriate to remain silent, or you have [nothing] else to say?”. [Hence,] he (Senāṃjayin) was reviled by them as he remained silent.
[Then] they (Ṣaḍvargikas) neither accused nor reminded; without basis, without acknowledgement, forcibly invoke the legal action of Utkṣepaṇīya against him (Senāṃjayin).
