When [the cause of one being] admitted [to the saṃgha] has arisen, they accept him [from that] arisen [cause]. There [must] be proclamation [in the precinct of the saṃgha] for him who is [in the legal action of] being admitted. [If] they accept him [to the saṃgha] in accordance with that proclamation, this action is legal.
