spo ba daṅ mgu bar bya ba spyod pa’i dge sloṅ rnams kyis kun du spyod pa’i chos ji ltar bcas pa bźin yaṅ dag par (H270b3) blaṅs te ’jug par mi byed na ’gal tshabs can du ’gyur ro ||
dge sloṅ rnams kyis de la gnas khaṅ ma bskos (180b1) rñed pa ma byin pa daṅ bcom ldan ’das kyis bka’ stsal pa |
thams cad (H270b4) kyi ’og tu de’i gnas khaṅ bsko bar bya thams cad kyi ’og tu rñed pa sbyin par bya’o || ||
Then he, having in mind that he has to leave, shall mindfully prepare a bed.
Monks who are pārivāsikas or mānāpyacārikas must comply with this rule; if they do not adopt it or do not act [accordingly], they become guilty of sin.
They [normal monks] do not direct him to the privileges of the monastery. They do not offer [him] the supplies. The blessed one said:
