Note on the transliteration:
The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).
 
Important:
We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

(29)佛在室羅伐城給孤獨園。(574c1)時鄔陀夷苾芻善知身相。見諸女人說其陰處。(2)有異記驗因為說法。招致譏嫌。遂便遮制。由觀利益。(3)復更開聽齊五六句。時六眾苾芻故增句說。(4)以獼猴等為有智人。因說法事婬染過限。(5)待緣譏嫌煩惱。制斯學處。(6)若復苾芻為女人說法。過五六語。(7)除有智男子波逸底迦。(8)言女人者。謂能解知善惡言義。言法者。(9)謂是如來親所宣說。或聲聞所說。亦名為法。(10)言過者。謂於五六語更多為說。言五六者。(11)五謂五蘊如言色是無常。受想行識亦復無常。(12)六謂六根。如言眼是無常。乃至意亦無常。(13)五六相應所有言語名五六語。此中犯者。(14)謂過五至六過六至七。其無犯者。對有智男子。(15)謂是人趣識善惡言。或在家人。(16)或出家者言說容儀皆無婬濫。名有智人。又有釋云。(17)設對女人說亦無犯。猶如捨戒對有智男。(18)雖曰女人智同男子。由對此女無邪說故。又無犯者。(19)謂於閣上為說五語。下至中層足成六語。(20)下至地時加至七語。此由處別。雖說無犯。(21)或時彼女所誦之業過數諮問。或是聰明轉生疑問。(22)或苾芻語吃。或性急頻言。若答若過並皆無犯。(23)無智男子無想及疑等。若過五六語作過。(24)五六想疑境想句數如上應思。若半擇迦等。(25)或無識知人。或蔑戾車。或眠醉入定。(26)或愚憃或男無欲意女有染心。或時翻此。皆得惡作。(27)縱是聰敏。亦不應說。
