Note on the transliteration:
The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).
 
Important:
We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

(8)故放身坐臥脫腳床學處第十八
(9)佛在室羅伐城給孤獨園。(10)時鄔波難陀由懷忿恚。坐脫腳床打傷乞食苾芻。事惱同前。(11)制斯學處。(12)若復苾芻於僧住處。知重房棚上脫腳床。(13)及餘坐物。放身坐臥者。波逸底迦。(14)言僧伽住處者。已如上說若於僧伽房舍。(15)而坐臥脫腳床者。便得墮罪。若餘房者得惡作罪。(16)言知重房棚上者。謂是草室棚閣顯非牢固。(17)復不防備。若屋牢固為防備者無犯。脫腳床者。(18)謂插腳床。雖是插腳逆楔牢者無犯。坐物者。(19)謂是諸餘插腳小床。放身坐臥者。(20)謂情懷掉戲恣放其身。得波逸底迦。非掉戲者無犯。(21)脫腳境想六句。二墮兩輕。後二非犯。(22)如是准知。住處住處想亦為六句。(23)初二墮罪次皆惡作。若板棚上若腳下安替。或仰置者無犯。
