Note on the transliteration:
The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).
 
Important:
We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

(27)壞生地學處第七十三
(28)佛在室羅伐城給孤獨園。(29)時六眾苾芻手自和泥。斸掘生地。由作鄙業妨廢正修。(600c1)因壞地事鄙業煩惱。制斯學處。(2)若復苾芻自手掘地。若教人掘者。波逸底迦。(3)言地者。有二種。一生地。二非生地。生地者。(4)謂未曾掘。若曾經掘被天雨濕。(5)若餘水霑時經三月。是名生地。(6)若無雨濕及水霑潤時經六月。亦名生地。異此非生。此中犯者。(7)若苾芻知是生地。不被火燒未經耕墾。自掘教人掘。(8)若打橛若鏟削。堅鞭地皮崩岸隤牆。(9)著地堅泥舉令相離。若土多沙少者。咸得墮罪。(10)若地皮等不堅鞭處。鏟舉之時得惡作罪。(11)生地生地想地為地想。各有六句。並同前說。無犯者。(12)若純沙石處。(13)或營事苾芻得好時日無驅使人。須定屋基拼繩打橛。深齊四寸者無犯。
