Note on the transliteration:
The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).
 
Important:
We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

(6)與未近圓人同讀誦學處第六(7)爾時薄伽梵在室羅伐城給孤獨園。(8)時六眾苾芻共未近圓人。齊聲讀誦。如婆羅門。(9)諠譁雜亂致招譏損。其事同前。由慢法煩惱。(10)制斯學處。(11)若復苾芻與未近圓人。同句讀誦教授法者。(12)波逸底迦。(13)言未近圓人者。除苾芻苾芻尼。所餘人是。(14)言人者。假而非實。由四種義假說為人。(15)謂順世俗故。易為言說故。又聞無人生恐怖故。(16)為陳自他得失事故。言同句者。(17)謂同句說或先句說。或同字說。或先字說句者。(18)所謂一伽他中四分之一。俱時而說。名為同句。(19)若阿遮利耶未說之時。弟子在先抄說。是名先句。(20)授謂授與。受學之人。法謂十二分教。(21)又有說云。此中法者。謂與毘柰耶相應之法。(22)既遮未具具便非犯。(23)若苾芻於所授人實未近圓作未近圓想疑。或同句或先句。或同字或先字。(24)而授說者。得波逸底迦。(25)於近圓人作未近圓想疑。得惡作罪。或非人傍生。或狂亂心。(26)或苦受所纏癡聾盲等。同句說時。咸得惡作。(27)以同句等望未圓人。應作四句。隨事應思。(28)法作法想疑。如前應說。若有俗人為求過失。(29)或偷法心。或無信敬。或無所知。(575b1)或是外道以與律教相應之語。令彼聽者。彼若聞時。(2)皆得墮罪。若賊樂聞為說罪相。或令聽戒經。(3)或在王處。或信敬人。或是首領並皆非犯。(4)有五種人不應為說毘柰耶藏。謂性無所知。(5)強生異問。或不為除疑而發於問。或試弄故問。(6)或惱他故問。或求過失故問。(7)返上五人為說非犯。無犯者。若語吃若性急。(8)言若同誦為正文句。若教授時。先告彼言。汝勿與我同時而說。(9)雖同無犯。若未近圓作近圓想及在後說想。(10)并非法想。並皆無犯。因授法言。(11)次明授受行法。四威儀中。皆得授與。其受法者具三威儀。(12)為敬法故。不應眠受。弟子之法。若老若少。(13)到彼師所合掌鞫躬。亦申請問。四大安不。(14)應生敬仰。直心無諂。請決所疑一心善領。(15)不令忘失。若無疑者如常受法。禮足而退。(16)若師出行隨後而去。若師坐者自應蹲踞。(17)或處卑座。其師亦應敬彼學徒。勿生輕蔑。虛心授與。(18)於法無吝。善領善答。有忍有悲。無懷恚恨。(19)令受業者情無疲惱。常給侍者應數教授。(20)性愚鈍者亦應偏教。若作吟詠之聲。而授法者。(21)得惡作罪。若說法時。或為讚歎。(22)於隱屏處作吟諷聲誦經非犯。不應讀誦外書典籍。(23)若為降伏異道。自知有力。日作三時。兩分勝時。(24)應學佛法。一分下時。應習外典。(25)不計年月以為三分。夜亦三時。初後習定誦經。(26)中間繫心寢息。若作婆羅門誦書節段音韻。而讀誦者。(27)得越法罪。若方言若國法隨時吟詠為唱導者。(28)斯亦無犯。苾芻尼律亦應習學。(29)尼來請學如法教示。若有疑問善為開釋。(575c1)若講誦時忘其因緣所在方處者。於六大城隨一應說。(2)若忘國王并大施主及鄔波斯迦名者。應隨意稱。(3)勝光大王給孤獨長者。毘舍佉鄔波斯迦。(4)若論昔日本起因緣者。國云婆羅[病-丙+尼]斯。(5)王名梵摩達多。長者云珊陀那。(6)鄔波斯迦云鄔褒灑陀。又苾芻住處常於月八日及十四日。(7)至小食時鳴健稚集大眾。設香華聽經法。(8)有外道來應設方便令彼出去。(9)應請耆宿情存虔敬。善威儀者宣說聖言。不應求利以為活命。(10)得惡作罪。若說非法。(11)上座應遮又說法人不應多領門徒以為侍從。彼自隨行者無犯。(12)既至彼已踞師子座下垂雙足。(13)若讀經者前置高案。用承經典。嚴設香華。說法之師。(14)若他不請輒為人說。得越法罪。
