Note on the transliteration:
The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).
 
Important:
We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

(18)壞生種學處第十一
(19)佛在室羅伐城給孤獨園。時有苾芻。(20)先是工師。為造寺故遂便斬伐近天神堂形勝大樹。(21)時樹天神即於其夜詣世尊所。具陳上事。(22)世尊知時安慰神已。告諸苾芻。(23)汝等不應斫伐樹木。若營事苾芻須伐樹時。去七八日。(24)應於樹下作曼荼羅讀誦三啟經。(25)次應為作布施咒願。又說十不善道是墜落因。(26)修十善業獲解脫果。復應告曰。此樹若有天神居者。(27)應向餘處。今為僧伽所須。或作窣睹波。作此告已。(28)方可伐之。若有異相現者。(29)更應為讚陀那功德毀慳吝業。仍現變怪更不得伐。(577a1)又六眾苾芻手自誅伐草木。外道俗人見生譏嫌。(2)無悲愍心損生住宅因種子及鬼神村事。(3)以譏嫌無悲煩惱。制斯學處。(4)若復苾芻自壞種子有情村。及令他壞者。(5)波逸底迦。(6)言種子村者。種子之村。名種子村。村是聚義。(7)種子不同有其五種。(8)一者根種謂香附子及薑芋等。因根生故。二者莖種。(9)謂菩提樹及石榴等。因莖生故。三者節種。謂甘蔗竹等。(10)因節生故。四者開裂種。謂桃杏豆等。(11)種子開裂芽乃生故。五者異子種。(12)謂穀麥等異類諸子是也。又釋穀麥等亦因開裂方乃生芽。(13)是開裂種。攝其異子種者。如因牛角能生荻等。(14)或因羊毛而生青稊。於牛糞聚生青蓮華。(15)從異類生。名異子種。或云子子種。從子生故。(16)言有情村者。謂是林薄諸有鬼神鳥獸等。(17)稟生命者託之而住。猶若人村。言有情者。(18)謂諸禽獸蚊虻蛇蠍及蜂蟻等。言及令他壞者。(19)壞是拗拉拔掘斬截摧傷之總名也。(20)若苾芻於諸種子及生草木有種子生草木想。或復生疑。(21)而以刀爪及持[專*瓦]石水火杵木灰汁沸湯。(22)或是水生出令乾死。或牽柴所損。(23)或經行處以足踏傷。隨以何緣。或自或他。(24)故為壞損者皆得本罪。若不傷者得惡作罪。(25)若於前境別別損壞。隨有所損皆得墮罪。(26)於多方便皆得惡作。若以一方便壞多種者。得一惡作。(27)得多本罪。若多方便損一種者。翻上應知。(28)於餘學處望境望心論因果罪。准此應說。(29)若樹葉新生及皴朽皮若華已開。或萎黃葉。或成熟果。(577b1)損落此者皆得惡作。若活根若青葉若生皮。(2)華未開果未熟者。皆得本罪。(3)若青苔浮萍等水中搖動。咸得惡作。舉出水時便得本罪。(4)若地[專*瓦]石有綠苔生蛇蓋菌等而損壞者。(5)或竿笐。瓶衣生白醭而受用。(6)損動者咸得惡作。令他拂淨者無犯。諸有情村有生命居者。(7)隨損得罪。窠未生卵。或時毈壞。除者無犯。(8)若欲移諸生命者。應極詳審勿令傷損。(9)若行動時。及有牽曳。(10)傾瀉湯水并灑掃時無損害心。雖損無犯。然諸根種及以果菜。(11)應合淨者先作淨已後方食用。淨法有五種。(12)火淨刀淨蔫淨鳥淨爪淨。又有五淨。(13)墮破淨拔出淨捩斷淨擘破淨非種淨。若蒲萄瓜果總為一聚。(14)於三四處以火拄之。此便為淨。(15)若刀爪一一皆須別淨。又生種中但有損者。此即是淨。(16)然於種中有不熟種。被蒸煮已食皆非犯。(17)若苾芻自將刀等而作淨者。食時無犯。(18)不淨得墮罪。若以火淨有自煮過。然於不淨地中。(19)又有內煮並不應食。使他淨時內煮同自。(20)若涉險途無未近圓者。及飢儉世不淨非犯。 
(21)嫌毀輕賤學處第十二
(22)佛在王舍城。(23)時實力子大眾差分臥具并知食。次時蜜[口*(臼/工)]羅步弭迦兄弟二人數行誹謗。(24)雖知大眾秉法呵責。仍猶對面輕毀。(25)又作方便譏刺之言。由輕毀事輕毀煩惱。(26)制斯學處。(27)若復苾芻嫌毀輕賤苾芻者。波逸底迦。(28)言嫌毀者。謂毀謗他。或時對面。或在私屏。(29)此中對面生過者。若有苾芻被眾差已。(577c1)輒於其人為嫌毀者。應作白四呵責。既得法已。(2)於彼十二種人被眾差者。若對若背為嫌毀者。(3)咸得墮罪。若眾未作呵責法時。(4)為輕毀者但得惡作。若於惡人作惡人想。而嫌毀者無犯。(5)若惡人作非惡人想疑。對面嫌毀者。(6)得突色訖里多罪。若於善人作善人想疑。嫌毀者。(7)得波逸底迦。善人惡人想者無犯。(8)若託傍生而興譏謗。或對不解方言者。有人無人想。(9)或復翻此或所對境無清淨苾芻者。皆惡作罪。
