Note on the transliteration:

The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).

Important:

We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

(11)不舉草敷具學處第十五
(12)佛在室羅伐城給孤獨園。時南方有二苾芻。(13)來至寺中敷草臥具去不收舉。致損房舍。(14)事惱同前。制斯學處。(15)若復苾芻於僧房內。若草若葉。自敷教人敷。(16)去時不自舉不教人舉。若有苾芻不囑授。(17)除餘緣故。波逸底迦。(18)言僧房者。謂四方僧伽房舍。下皆同此。(19)若是私處但得惡作。言房舍者。(20)於四威儀得為受用。言敷具者。若草若葉而作敷具。去時者。(21)謂離勢分。勢分多少如上已明。又不囑授者。(22)謂有苾芻應須囑授。然諸苾芻受他囑授。(23)即應存心為作其事。不依言者。得惡作罪。(24)若於寺中有草敷具是常所敷。主人遮時即不須卻。(25)境想如前。然此草敷有二種壞一風所吹。(26)二蟲蟻食。亦如上說。若白衣舍。(27)當須問主依他所說或去或留。若違言者得惡作罪。(28)阿蘭若處舉起方行。不舉動時得惡作罪。(29)若染衣時於草上曬。問主同前。若經行時將草布地。(580a1)不可日日常為收舉。(2)然於去時總須縛束挂樹當行。於大會處草薦坐時。(3)且應收舉置之一畔。若會了後應即除棄。(4)牛糞土屑洗手所須。安瓦器中勿令損壞。
