وسيأتي حينئذ اليوم الذي يأخذون فيه بنقل قصصنا ورواياتنا إلى لغاتهم ، لأنّ لهم ولعة عظيمة بكلّ ما هو مصري ، 
wa-sa-yaʔtī ḥīnaʔiḏin al-yawm allaḏī yaʔḫuḏūna fī-hi bi-naqli qiṣaṣi-nā wa-riwāyāti-nā ʔilà luġāti-him, li-ʔanna la-hum walʕaẗun ʕaẓīmaẗun bi-kulli mā huwa miṣrī, 
There will then come the day when they will begin to translate our stories and plays into their languages, as they have an ardent desire for everything Egyptian,
