وقد ألّفنا فعلاً رواية من هذا النوع دعوناها "بين الحبّ والفنّ" حلّلنا فيها جزيئات مشاعر كاتب مصري طامح إلى المجد ، مع تصوير الوسط الفنّي المصري . 
wa-qad ʔallafnā fiʕlan riwāyaẗin min hāḏā ’l-nawʕ daʕawnā-hā "Bayna ’l-ḥubb wa’l-fann" ḥallalnā fī-hā ǧuzayʔāt mašāʕir kātib miṣrī ṭāmiḥ ʔilà ’l-maǧd, maʕa taṣwīr al-wasaṭ al-fannī al-miṣrī. 
as we [also] have indeed written an account of this type that we called Between Love and Art1 in which we analyzed the finest nuances of the feelings of an Egyptian writer who is eager to become famous, including a description of the Egyptian art scene/milieu.
