Note on the transliteration:
The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).
 
Important:
We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

tadyathāpi nāma kāśyapa rājñaḥ kṣatriyasya mūrdhnābhiṣiktasyāgrramahiṣī daridrapuruṣeṇa sārdhaṃ vipratipadyeta tasya tataḥ putro jāyetaḥ tat kiṃ manyase kāśyapa api nu sarājaputra iti vaktavyaḥ āha no hīdaṃ bhagavan bhagavān āha · evam eva kāśyapa kiṃ cāpi mama śrāvakār dharmadhātunirjātā na ca punas te tathāgatasyābhiṣekyaputrā iti vaktavyāḥ tatredam ucyate 14
yathāpi rājño mahi{r}ṣī manāpī daridrasatvena sahā vaseta ·
tasyā sutas tena ca jāyate yosa rājaputro na tu rāja bheṣyati ·
e{va}m eva ye śrrāvaka vītarāgā na te ’bhiṣekyā mama jātu putrāḥ
tathā hi te ātmahitāya yuktā svaparobhayārthekara buddhaputrāḥ 
譬如遮迦越羅正夫人與貧窮人。共交通從中生子。佛語迦葉。是寧應為遮迦越羅子不乎。迦葉報佛言。不也。佛言。如是迦葉。雖有羅漢從法中出。是非佛子也。不類菩薩。何以故。菩薩不斷佛法故。 
譬如剎利頂生。皇后賤人共會。若後生子。於意云何。當言此子是王子耶。答曰非也世尊。如是迦葉。此諸聲聞從我法界生。然彼一切非世尊子。 
迦葉。譬如剎利大王有大夫人。與貧賤通懷妊生子。於意云何是王子不。不也世尊。如是迦葉。我聲聞眾亦復如是。雖為同證以法性生。不名如來真實佛子。 
佛告迦葉。譬如剎帝利受灌頂王。彼王皇后私於庶人後生其子。迦葉於意云何。彼所生之子得名灌頂王子不。迦葉白言不也。世尊告言。迦葉。彼得無生法界聲聞。我是如來灌頂之子如是亦然。我今於此而說頌曰。
剎帝王皇后 而私於庶人
彼後生其男 不名灌頂子
聲聞亦如是 離欲證無生
唯行於自利 非是於如來
灌頂法王子 佛子行二利
