Note on the transliteration:
The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).
 
Important:
We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

若復苾芻。若人若人胎。故自手(16)斷其命。或持刀授與。或自持刀。或求持刀(17)者。若勸死讃死。語言。咄男子。何用此罪累(18)不淨惡活爲。汝今寧死死勝生。隨自心念。以(19)餘言説勸讃令死。彼因死者。此苾芻亦得波(20)羅市迦不應共住 
3. Whatever monk should, as premeditated, with his own hand, deprive a human or one that has human form1 of his life, supply somebody with a knife [so he can kill himself], search for an assassin to kill him, instigate him to die, or praise death, saying, “O man, what use is this dreadful, impure, sinful life to you? O man, death is better than life for you”; should [the monk] purposefully, being of one opinion, instigate him in many ways to death, or recommend the nature of death to him, and he (i.e., that man) should die by that [means], and [the monastic community] cannot live with him.
