Note on the transliteration:
The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).
 
Important:
We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

釋曰。於色界無覆無記心分爲三。除工(2)巧處心。於彼無工巧故。  如此十二心。更分成(3)二十心。  善有六心。無覆無記有八心。  威儀(4)等心。於無色界中。無威儀等事故。  色香味(5)觸四塵。是三心境界。  工巧心亦以聲爲境。  此(6)四心唯是意識。  是五識於威儀工巧處亦加(7)行心所引。  餘師説有意識威儀所引起。以十(8)二入爲境界。 
色無覆心分爲三種。除(24)工巧處。上界都無造作種種工巧事故。  如(25)是十二爲二十心。  謂善分六。無覆分八。  (26)無色界無威儀路等餘數如上故成二十。  (27)威儀路等三無覆心色香味觸爲所縁境。  工(28)巧處等亦縁於聲。  如是三心唯是意識。  威(29)儀路工巧處加行亦通四識五識。  有餘師説(39b1)有威儀路及工巧處所引意識能具足縁十(2)二處境。

復有何因。從加行(197b1)心。次第生果報威儀工巧心。而此心不從彼(2)生。  由加行力能引威儀工巧故。羸弱心相續。(3)不能引將加行故。是故不隨從加行心。  出觀(4)心不由功用起。從加行心後此生可然。  若爾(5)從染汚心不應得生加行心。無徳故。  雖然若(6)人厭極。或逼行加行心。能令相離故。從染汚(7)心後。得生加行心。  欲界生得心。由明了故。(8)從有學無學心。色界加行心次第得生。  不由(9)功用起故。從此彼心不得生。  從色界染汚心。(10)欲界生得心得生。由明了故。  從無色界染汚(11)心。色界生得心不得生。由不明了故。 
復有何縁。加行無間能生異熟(26)工巧威儀。非彼無間生加行善。  勢力劣故。(27)非作功用所引發故。樂作功用引發工巧(28)威儀轉故。不能順起加行善心。  出心不由(29)功用轉故。加行無間可能生彼。  若爾染汚(40a1)無間。不應生加行善。不相順故。  雖爾厭(2)倦煩惱現行爲欲了知容起加行。  欲界生(3)得以明利故。可有從彼學無學心色界加(4)行無間而起。  非作功用所引發故。不能(5)從此引生彼心。  又欲生得以明利故。可從(6)色染無間而生。  色界生得不明利故。非無(7)色染無間而起。

思惟有(12)三種。一自相思惟。  如色以變壞爲相。乃至識(13)以了別爲相。如是等名自相思惟。  二通相思(14)惟。謂四諦十六取相相應思惟。  三欲樂思(15)惟。不淨觀。無量。解脱。制入。遍入等思惟。  (16)從三思惟。次第能生聖道令現前。從聖道生(17)思惟亦爾。若爾此言相應不相違。謂觀行人。(18)修習念覺分。與不淨觀相應。  餘師説。通相思(19)惟現前即是聖道。從此亦得次第生三思惟。  (20)若人由不淨觀調伏心已。從通相思惟。次第(21)生聖道。  約此傳傳故。説此言。修習念覺分(22)與不淨觀相應。  有餘師説。從聖道次第但生(23)通相思惟。此義亦可然。  若依止非至等三地。(24)入正定聚。從三地聖道。次第生欲界通相思(25)惟。  若依止第二定等入正定聚。此義云何。  何(26)以故。此欲界心無能應此道。以地最遠故。  欲(27)界地通相思惟。非第二定地所得。除決擇分(28)能。  復次聖人更生決擇分。能令現前。無有是(29)處。  何以故。若人已至得果。更令加行果向(197c1)現前。此義亦不相應。若爾此言云何相應。  有(2)別通相思惟。與彼同類八聖道後之所修習。  (3)謂一切有爲無常。一切法無我。涅槃寂靜。必(4)應令此現前。  毘婆沙師不説此義。  若人依止(5)非至定。得阿羅漢果。後出觀心。或以非至定(6)爲地。或以欲界爲地。若依無所有處爲地。得(7)阿羅漢果。  後出觀心。或以無所有處爲地。或(8)以有頂爲地。  於所餘地出觀。唯依自地。  於(9)欲界有三種思惟。一聞慧思惟。二思慧思惟。(10)三生得慧思惟。  於色界亦有三種思惟。謂聞(11)修生得。無思慧。  何以故。若彼人作功用思(12)惟。即入三摩提。  於無色界有二種思惟。謂修(13)得生得。  此中從五思惟。得次第生聖道令現(14)前。除三生得。由聖道屬加行故。  從聖道但(15)得次第生一生得思惟。謂欲界生得。以明了(16)故。 
作意有三。一自相作意。  謂如(8)觀色變礙爲相。乃至觀識了別爲相。如是(9)等觀相應作意。  二共相作意。謂十六行相應(10)作意。  三勝解作意。謂不淨觀及四無量有色(11)解脱勝處遍處。如是等觀相應作意。  如是三(12)種作意無間聖道現前。聖道無間亦能具起(13)三種作意。若作是説便順此言。不淨觀倶(14)行修念等覺分。  有餘師説。唯從共相作意(15)無間聖道現前。聖道無間通起三種。  修不淨(16)觀調伏心已。方能引生共相作意。從此無(17)間聖道現前。  依此傳傳密意故。説不淨觀(18)倶行修念等覺分。  有餘復言。唯從共相作意(19)無間聖道現前。聖道無間亦唯能起共相作(20)意。  若爾有依未至定等三地證入正性離生。(21)聖道無間可生欲界共相作意。  若依第二第(22)三第四靜慮證入正性離生。聖道無間起何(23)作意。  非起欲界共相作意。以極遠故。  非於(24)彼地已有曾得共相作意。異於曾得順決(25)擇分。  非諸聖者順決擇分可復現前。  非得(26)果已可重發生加行道故。  若謂有別共相(27)作意。順決擇分倶時已修。由繋屬彼是彼(28)類故。  如觀諸行皆是無常。觀一切法皆是(29)非我涅槃寂靜。聖道無間引彼現前。  毘婆沙(40b1)師不許此義。違正理故。  若依未至定得(2)阿羅漢果後出觀心或即彼地或是欲界。依(3)無所有處得阿羅漢果。  後出觀心或即彼(4)地或是有頂。  若依餘地得阿羅漢果後出(5)觀心唯自非餘地。  於欲界中有三作意。一(6)聞所成。二思所成。三生所得。  色界亦有三種(7)作意。一聞所成。二修所成。三生所得。無思(8)所成。  擧心思時即入定故。  無色唯有二種(9)作意。一修所成。二生所得。  此中五種作意無(10)間聖道現前。除生所得聖道。繋屬加行心(11)故。  聖道無間亦得發生。欲界生得以明利(12)故。

kāmāvacare kliṣṭe citte saṃmukhībhūte ṣaṇṇāṃ cittānāṃ lābhaḥ |  tair samanvāgatasya kāmāvacarasya kuśalasya vicikitsayā kuśalamūlapratisaṃdhānād dhātupratyāgamanāc ca | akuśalanivṛtāvyākṛtayoḥ rūpāvacarasya ca kliṣṭasya dhātupratyāgamanāt parihāṇitaś ca |  ārūpyāvacarasya kliṣṭasya parihāṇitaḥ śeṣasya ca |  rūpāvacare ’pi kliṣṭe ṣaṇṇāṃ lābhaḥ |  rūpāvacarāṇāṃ trayāṇāṃ kāmāvacarasya cānivṛtāvyākṛtasya dhātupratyāgamanāt |  ārūpyāvacarasya kliṣṭasya śaikṣasya ca parihāṇitaḥ |  ārūpyāvacare tu kliṣṭe dvayor lābhaḥ |  parihāṇitas tasyaiva kliṣṭasya śaikṣasya ca | 
釋曰。欲界(18)染汚心。正起現前。應得六心。  先與六心不相(19)應。後還得故欲界善心先已相離。由疑惑還(20)接善根故。由退還下界。更得不善心有覆無(21)記心。又得色界染汚心。由退還故。復由退定(22)故。  又得無色界染汚心及退定故。又得有學(23)心。  色界染汚心正起現前。亦得六心。  得色界(24)三心。又得欲界無覆無記心。由退還下界故。  (25)又得無色界染汚心。及有學心。由退定故。  無(26)色界染汚心。正起現前得二心。  由退定故。得(27)染汚心及有學心。 
(16)論曰。欲界染心正現前位。十二心内容得(17)六心。  彼先不成今得成故。由疑續善及界(18)退還。欲界善心爾時名得。由起惑退及界(19)退還得欲二心。不善有覆及得色界一有(20)覆心。由起惑退。  得無色界一有覆心。及得(21)學心。故名得六。  色界染心正現前位。十二(22)心内亦得六心。由界退還。  得欲界一無覆(23)無記及色界三。色界染心亦由退得。由起(24)惑退  得無色界一有覆心。及得學心。故名(25)得六。  無色染心正現前位。十二心内唯得(26)二心。  由起惑退得彼染心。及得學心。故(27)名得二。

釋曰。色(28)界善心。正起現前得三心。得自地善心。又得(29)欲界色界無覆無記心。 
色界善心正現前位。十二心内容(28)得三心。謂彼善心及欲色界無覆無記。由(29)昇進故。

釋曰。有(198a1)學心正起現前得四心。謂有學心。欲界色界(2)無覆無記心。無色界善心。由聖道離欲欲界(3)色界時。 
若有學心正現前位。十二心内容(40c1)得四心。謂有學心及欲色界無覆無記并無(2)色善。由初證入正性離生。及由聖道離欲(3)色染。 
slob pa de ñid daṅ | ’phags pa’i lam gyis ’dod pa daṅ gzugs kyi khams las ’dod chags daṅ bral bar byed pa na ’dod pa daṅ gzugs na spyod pa’i ma bsgribs la luṅ du ma bstan pa dag daṅ | gzugs med pa’i dge ba’o ||

śeṣaṃ kṛtaṃ śeṣitam |  yatra citte lābho na vyākhyātas tatra tasyaiva lābho draṣṭavyo nānyasya |  anye punar abhedenāhuḥ | 
釋曰。若有處不説得(4)心。  於中應知准得此心。有餘師説。不分別(5)得心。  如偈言 
餘謂前説染等心餘。  不説彼心正現前(4)位得心差別。應知彼心正現前位。唯自可(5)得。有餘於此總説。  頌曰 
(5) lhag mar byas pas lhag ma ste ||  sems gaṅ la rñed pa ma bśad pa de la ni de ñid rñed par blta bar bya’o ||  gźan dag la ni khyad par med par 
     
“kliṣṭe citte navānāṃ hi lābhaḥ ity ucyate budhaiḥ | ṣaṇṇāṃ tu kuśale citte tasyaivāvyākṛṭe khalu ||”

tatra saptānāṃ kuśale citta iti vaktavyam |  kāmāvacarasya kuśalasya samyagdṛṣṭyā kuśalamūlapratisaṃdhānāt kāmarūpāvacarayor anivṛtāvyākṛtayor vairāgyataḥ rūpārūpyāvacarayoḥ kuśalayos tat asty asamādhilābhataḥ śaikṣāśaikṣasya ca niyāmāvakrāntyarhattvayoḥ śeṣam ata eva vyākhyānād avadhāryam |  saṃgrahaślokaḥ | 
(8)此中於善心應説得七心。  一得欲界善心。由(9)正見接善根時。得欲界色界無覆無記心。由(10)得離欲故。得色界無色界善心。由得彼定故。(11)得有學無學心。由入正定聚。及證阿羅漢果(12)時。是所餘由此解釋。應自思惟。  爲攝前義故(13)説此偈 
(8)於善心中應言得七。  謂由正見續善根(9)時。欲界善心起位名得。離欲界染究竟(10)位中。頓得欲色無覆無記。得色無色三摩(11)地時。彼二善心説名爲得。初入離生位證(12)阿羅漢時。學無學心説名爲得。餘准前釋(13)應知其相。  爲攝前義。復説頌言 
der mi dge ba’i sems la bdun yin te | źes brjod par bya ste |  yaṅ dag pa’i lta bas dge ba’i rtsa ba’i ñid mtshams sbyor ba las ’dod pa na spyod pa’i dge ba daṅ ’dod chags daṅ bral ba las ’dod pa daṅ gzugs na spyod pa’i ma bsgribs la luṅ du ma bstan pa dag daṅ | de (7) ni yod pa’i tiṅ ṅe ’dzin de thob pa las gzugs daṅ gzugs med pa na spyod pa’i dge ba dag daṅ | des ’jug dgra bcom ñid kyi tshe || slob pa daṅ ni mi slob pa’o || lhag ma ni rnam par bśad pa ’di ñid kyis khoṅ du chud par bya’o ||  bsdu ba’i tshigs su bcad pa ni | 
     
“upapattisamāpattivairāgyaparihāṇiṣu |
kuśalapratisaṃdhau ca cittalābho hy atadvataḥ” iti | 
(14)託生入觀時 離欲退定時
