Note on the transliteration:

The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).

Important:

We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

(19)佛在薜舍離城跋寠末底河側。有諸苾芻。(20)先所未得而今得之。(21)以上人法向未近圓者說。其事同前。由求利煩惱。制斯學處。(22)若復苾芻實得上人法。向未近圓人說者。(23)波逸底迦。(24)上人法者義如上說。於中別者。(25)虛實重輕有差別故。前是吐羅。此得惡作。前是惡作。(26)此還惡作。此中犯者。謂實得上人法。(27)向未近圓人說言我得。得波逸底迦。(28)若對非人及癲狂等。并先犯等而向說者。得惡作罪。或為書印。(29)得惡作罪。若苾芻手中執果。他有問言。(576b1)仁獲果耶。意在此果。答言得者。得惡作罪。(2)意在聖果。答言得者。得波逸底迦。(3)若對俗人現神通者。得惡作罪。若苾芻尼對大師前。現神變者。(4)亦得惡作。無犯者。為顯聖教現希有事。(5)自陳己德。或欲令彼所化有情心調伏故。(6)雖說無罪。
