إذ يأخذ القارئَ الضجرُ والمللُ فيتضايق من تلك الفضائل التي يحُثّونه عليها بقسوة وخشونة .

ʔiḏ yaʔḫuḏ^u ’l-qāriʔa ’l-ḍaǧar^u wa’l-malal^u fa-yataḍāyaq^u min tilka ’l-faḍāʔilⁱ ’llatī yaḥuṯṯūna-hū ʕalay-hā bi-qaswaẗ wa-ḫušūnaẗ.

The reader will namely be taken by boredom and dissatisfaction, and he will be annoyed by [all] these virtues to which he is being pushed violently and crudely.
