Note on the transliteration:
The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).
 
Important:
We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

(530b8) 諸大德。我今作褒灑陀。[(9)說波羅底木叉戒經。仁等諦聽。善思念之。若有犯者當發露。(10)無犯者默然。默然故知。諸大德清淨。(11)如餘問時即如實答。我今於此勝苾芻眾中。(12)乃至三問亦應如實答。若苾芻憶知有犯不發露者。(13)得故妄語罪。諸大德。佛說故妄語是障礙法。(14)是故苾芻欲求清淨者。當發露。發露即安樂。(15)不發露不安樂。諸大德。我已說戒經序。諸大德。我已說戒經序。(16)今問諸大德。是中清淨不(如是三說)諸大德。(17)是中清淨默然故。我今如是持。(18)次明勸至心聽。言諸大德等者。(19)別解脫經說時欲至。若不敬仰法水不霑故。(20)勸攝心勿生散亂。言諦聽者。總遣用心。言善思念之者。(21)別明三義。欲明三類聽人。喻之三器。(22)謂仰全淨堪貯用故。若覆漏穢不堪受物。如次應知。(23)次明淨徒眾。言若有犯等者。(24)若先有犯今默不言。更招其罪。如餘時中。他問實答。(25)此亦如是。我今於此勝苾芻眾中者。(26)讚美當時聽戒徒眾。言憶知者。設令有犯而不憶知。(27)為妄語罪故。妄語者雖默不言。亦名妄語。(28)由現身相表語業故。有云。(29)唯是意所犯罪是障礙法者。於二時中能為障礙。一於現世障諸善法。(530c1)二於未來礙生善趣。欲求清淨者。(2)清淨謂是涅槃。為求涅槃故。(3)不為畏他詰責治罰而說於罪。言發露即安樂者。有五種相。(4)一由勤策治諸懈怠故。二由無罪治諸過失故。(5)三由敬重治慢式叉故。四由無悔治諸惡作故。(6)五由寂定治散亂心故。戒經序者。經是略詮義。(7)欲明略陳戒相。詮其綱目。不廣釋故。(8)言序者。是由緒也。謂說戒時以此為先。(9)能令餘說得生起故。
