Note on the transliteration:

The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).

Important:

We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

(23)緣等同前遮不用故愛新好者。制斯學處。(24)若復苾芻作新敷具。縱心不樂應六年持。(25)若減六年。不捨故。(26)更作新者除得眾法泥薩祇波逸底迦。(27)言六年持者。縱不樂畜亦須年滿。(28)如於此年造一褥。或於此年復造一褥。(29)乃至第五年造一褥。若初造第二褥時。得惡作罪。(559c1)成得捨墮。其第一褥體非是犯。若第六年更造新者。(2)若捨前作後。或為他作者無犯。或已興方便。(3)後便還俗。重受近圓。更復修造。(4)或先轉根後還依舊。重造成者得惡作罪。(5)或減六年作新褥者。眾應與法。或眾往觀。應須三請。(6)不應隨彼樂欲便即與法。或持褥來至眾中。(7)若長應截。若短若狹應更裨補。若薄應更毛帖。(8)若全壞不堪料理者。應作白二與其別褥。
