Note on the transliteration:
The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).
 
Important:
We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

(545c1)佛在王舍城。時蜜呾羅步弭迦二人。(2)由昔生中與實力子有怨讎。故遂共妹蜜呾羅尼。(3)謗實力子云。犯波羅市迦。便為舉詰。自相符證。(4)由同梵行事及不忍煩惱。制斯學處。(5)若復苾芻懷瞋不捨。故於清淨苾芻。(6)以無根波羅市迦法。謗欲壞彼淨行。後於異時。(7)若問若不問。知此是無根謗彼苾芻。由瞋恚故。(8)作是語者。僧伽伐尸沙。(9)言苾芻懷瞋者。謂瞋惑未斷。不捨者。(10)謂是現纏意欲作其無益之事。言無根者。(11)根有三種。謂見聞疑。此若無者是無根事。言謗者。(12)謂以惡事毀呰於他。無根方犯。若有三根。(13)即非犯類。所言謗者。謂非言諍。(14)苾芻由瞋恚故。作是語者。謂無實想故。表由瞋恨故。(15)便生惡謗。應知此中所謗之境。有四種人。(16)一者清淨。二者雖清淨相似不清淨。(17)三者不清淨。四者雖不清淨相似清淨。(18)若謗初二十事成犯。五事非犯。何謂為十。(19)謂不見不聞不疑妄言見等。是謂三事。或聞而忘。或疑而忘。(20)言我聞疑復是二事。或聞而信。或聞不信而言。(21)我見復是二事。或聞而疑。或聞不疑。(22)或但自疑而云。我見復是三事語。語說時咸得本罪。(23)五事無犯者。(24)謂不見不聞不疑有見等想而云見等。是謂三事。或聞而忘。或疑而忘。(25)有聞疑想而言聞等。是為二事。此皆無犯謗。(26)後二人十一事。犯六事非犯。謂以見而忘一事。(27)於上兩處為第四事。餘事皆同。思之可識。(28)前之二人體是清淨故。無見忘。若以書。(29)若以字印手印。若遣使。若自書字。作如是言。(546a1)此字說汝有其犯事。若對狂癡。若眠若定。(2)若先犯人。若授學人。若謗苾芻尼。(3)若於大眾作如是言。此中有人犯波羅市迦。不斥名謗。(4)咸窣吐羅謗之境心。句如上說。(5)若以半擇迦男女而謗他者。皆窣吐羅。(6)謗式叉等咸犯惡作。復有說言。謗苾芻尼亦獲本罪。(7)謗式叉等得窣吐羅。若以五無間謗苾芻者。並得眾教。(8)以犯逆罪非苾芻故。有云。於中是吐羅者。(9)謗得輕罪。尼謗他時。准苾芻說其式叉等。(10)得惡作罪。若鄔波索迦謗苾芻者。(11)應與作覆缽羯磨。若惡罵俗人。不往其舍不受彼食。(12)及以床座不為說法。若彼下心從眾求乞。性調柔者。(13)應為作仰缽羯磨。入邪部者。為正部人。(14)作覆缽者不成作法。翻此便成。(15)若善俗人家作覆缽羯磨。亦不成作。若以一床等壓諸界上。(16)一羯磨人得覆仰多缽。
