Note on the transliteration:

The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).

Important:

We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

(11)佛在室羅伐城給孤獨園。(12)時十七眾既被六眾分離朋黨。心生不忍。(13)便與鄔波難陀作捨置羯磨。時難陀自惟無力。恐被治罰。(14)遂將毛緂聚置座上。默爾而出。其事同前。(15)不寂靜煩惱。制斯學處。(16)若復苾芻知眾如法評論事時。(17)默然從座起去。有苾芻不囑授者。除餘緣。故波逸底迦。(18)如法事者。謂三羯磨。言默然去者。(19)謂從座起至離聞處。不囑餘苾芻者。(20)若病看病授事人等。有緣須去者。應與欲若輒去者。(21)未離聞處。得惡作罪。若離聞處。波逸底迦。(22)如法如法想六句。有說實是非法作如法想。亦得墮罪。(23)若大小便事訖還來。若不離聞處。(24)若眾欲作非法羯磨。默然而去。悉皆無犯。
