Preface:

This edition of the Elucidarius (last version 27 February 2017) contains 3 texts:

  1. The Latin original as published by Lefèvre (1954).
  2. The Old Norse translation, based on the edition of Firchow (1992) and normalized by Bjarni Gunnar Ásgeirsson (January 2017).
  3. Magnús Eiríksson's Danish translation (1857) of the Old Norse text.

The chapter division follows the edition of the Latin text in the Patrologia Latina (Vol. 172, Paris 1854). A pdf facsimile of this edition is linked to each page of the text (full text in one file here). A pdf facsimile of Eirḱsson's translation is also linked to the digital text (full text in one file here).
