Sagðe hann ſva at (14) með því lícom ꜹðfom ſcylde (15) hverr coma til valhallar ſem (16) hann hafðe á bal, þeſs ſcylde (17) hann oc niota er hann ſiálfr hafðe (18) i jorð grafit.

Sagði hann svá, at með þvílíkum auðœfum skyldi hverr koma til Valhallar sem hann hafði á bál, þess skyldi hann ok njóta, er hann sjálfr hafði í jǫrð grafit.

Han sagde de, at so stor rikdom skulde kvar koma til Valhall med, som han hadde med seg paa baale. De skulde han og njota, som han sjølv hadde gravi i jorda;

Han sagde, at hver skulde komme til Valhall med saadan rigdom, som han havde med paa baalet, og det skulde han og nyde, som han selv havde gravet i jorden.
