Um alla Svíþjóð guldu menn Óðni skatt, penning fyrir nef hvert, en hann skyldi verja land þeira fyrir ófriði ok blóta þeim til árs.

I heile Svitjod lagde dei skatt aat Odin, ein pening for kvar nos; men (13) han skulde verja lande deira for ufred og blota for deim til godt aar.
