þa (21) ſagðe Oþinn honom at hann ſcylde (22) æ lifa meþan hann gæfi Oðni ſon sinn (23) et tíủnda huert ár. oc þat (24) með at hann ſcylde heiti gefa (25) nockoro heraðe i lande síno eptir (26) tǫlo ſona ſiɴa þeira er hann bló-(27)-taðe til Oþins.

Þá sagði Óðinn honum, at hann skyldi æ lifa, meðan hann gæfi Óðni son sinn it tíunda hvert ár, ok þat með, at hann skyldi heiti gefa nǫkkuru heraði í landi sínu eptir tǫlu sona sinna, þeira er hann blótaði til Óðins.

Daa sagde Odin til han, at han skulde liva heile tidi, so lengi han gav Odin ein av sønine sine tiandekvart aar, og likeins at han gjeva eit herad i lande sitt namn etter tale paa sønine sine som var han blota til Odin.
