ὅθεν λέγεται ὡς τὰ (1363a1) κακὰ συνάγει τοὺς ἀνθρώπους, ὅταν ᾖ ταὐτὸ βλαβερὸν ἀμφοῖν.

ومن هاهنا يقال انّ الشرّ قد يجمع الناس ويؤلّف بينهم اذا كان الأمر الواحد بعينه ضارّا للفريقين جميعا

Hence it is said that ‘evils draw men together’; that is, when the same thing is hurtful to them both.
