METRE III. Tunc me discussa luquerunt nocte tenebre.  
III. MYTER 
Tunc me discussa liquerunt nocte tenebrae
Luminibusque prior rediit vigor, 
Tunc discussa nocte . liquerunt me tenebrae.
Sâr hína-uertríbenero náht. pegáb míh tiu uínstri.
Et prior uigor . rediit luminibus.
Únde chám mír óugôn lîeht . sólih ih fóre hábeta. 
Lors, la nuit chaciee, me laisserent tenebres et a mes yeux repaira leur premeraine vigueur. 
Thus, whan that night was discussed and chased a-wey, derknesses forleften me, and to myn eyen repeirede ayein hir firste strengthe.
