თავი მეთერთმეტე

Καὶ ἐγένετο ὅτε ἐτέλεσεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς διατάσσων τοῖς δώδεκα μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ, μετέβη ἐκεῖθεν τοῦ διδάσκειν καὶ κηρύσσειν ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν αὐτῶν.

Et factum est, cum consum masset Iesus praecipiens Duodecim discipulis suis, transiit inde, ut doceret et praedicaret in civitatibus eorum.

1 და იყო რაჟამს დაასრულნა იესუ ბრძანებანი ესე ათორმეტთა მიმართ მოწაფეთა მისთა, წარვიდა მიერ ქადაგებად და სწავლად ქალაქებსა მათსა.

1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.

Ὁ δὲ Ἰωάνης ἀκούσας ἐν τῷ δεσμωτηρίῳ τὰ ἔργα τοῦ χριστοῦ πέμψας διὰ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ

Ioannes autem, cum audisset in vinculis opera Christi, mittens per discipulos suos

2 ხოლო იოვანეს რაჲ ესმნეს საპყრობილესა შინა საქმენი ქრისტესნი, მიავლინნა ორნი მოწაფენი თჳსნი

2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,

εἶπεν αὐτῷ Σὺ εἶ ὁ ἐρχόμενος ἢ ἕτερον προσδοκῶμεν;

ait illi: “Tu es qui venturus es, an alium exspectamus?”.

3 და ჰრქუა: შენ ხარა მომავალი იგი, ანუ სხუასა მოველოდით?

3 And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Πορευθέντες ἀπαγγείλατε Ἰωάνει ἃ ἀκούετε καὶ βλέπετε:

Et respondens Iesus ait illis: “Euntes renuntiate Ioanni, quae auditis et videtis:

4 ხოლო იესუ მიუგო და ჰრქუა მათ: მივედით და უთხართ იოვანეს, რომელი გესმის და ჰხედავთ:

4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:

“τυφλοὶ ἀναβλέπουσιν” καὶ χωλοὶ περιπατοῦσιν, λεπροὶ καθαρίζονται καὶ κωφοὶ ἀκούουσιν, καὶ νεκροὶ ἐγείρονται καὶ “πτωχοὶ εὐαγγελίζονται:”

caeci vident et claudi ambulant, leprosi mundantur et surdi audiunt et mortui resurgunt et pauperes evangelizantur;

5 ბრმანი აღიხილვენ, მკელობელნი ვლენან, კეთროვანნი განწმდებიან, და ყრუთა ესმის, და მკუდარნი აღდგებიან და გლახაკთა ეხარების.

5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

καὶ μακάριός ἐστιν ὃς ἂν μὴ σκανδαλισθῇ ἐν ἐμοί.

et beatus est, qui non fuerit scandalizatus in me”.

6 და ნეტარ არს, რომელი არა დაბრკოლდეს ჩემდა მომართ.

6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Τούτων δὲ πορευομένων ἤρξατο ὁ Ἰησοῦς λέγειν τοῖς ὄχλοις περὶ Ἰωάνου Τί ἐξήλθατε εἰς τὴν ἔρημον θεάσασθαι; κάλαμον ὑπὸ ἀνέμου σαλευόμενον;

Illis autem abeuntibus, coepit Iesus dicere ad turbas de Ioanne: “Quid existis in desertum videre? Arundinem vento agitatam?

7 და ვითარცა ესენი წარვიდეს, იწყო იესუ სიტყუად ერსა მას იოვანესთჳს: რაჲსა გამოხუედით უდაბნოდ ხილვად? ლერწმისა, ქარისაგან შერყეულისა?

7 And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

ἀλλὰ τί ἐξήλθατε ἰδεῖν; ἄνθρωπον ἐν μαλακοῖς ἠμφιεσμένον; ἰδοὺ οἱ τὰ μαλακὰ φοροῦντες ἐν τοῖς οἴκοις τῶν βασιλέων.

Sed quid existis videre? Hominem mollibus vestitum? Ecce, qui mollibus vestiuntur, in domibus regum sunt.

8 არამედ რაჲსა გამოხუედით ხილვად? კაცისა, ჩჩჳლითა სამოსლითა შემოსილისა? აჰა ესერა რომელნი ჩჩჳლითა სამოსლითა შემოსილ არიან, სახლთა შინა სამეუფოთა არიან.

8 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.

ἀλλὰ τί ἐξήλθατε; προφήτην ἰδεῖν; ναί, λέγω ὑμῖν, καὶ περισσότερον προφήτου.

Sed quid existis videre? Prophetam? Etiam, dico vobis, et plus quam prophetam.

9 არამედ რაჲსა გამოხუედით ხილვად? წინაწარმეტყუელისა? ჰე, გეტყჳ თქუენ, და უმეტეს წინაწარმეტყუელისა.

9 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.

οὗτός ἐστιν περὶ οὗ γέγραπται “ Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἀποστέλλω τὸν ἄγγελόν μου πρὸ προσώπου σου, ὃς κατασκευάσει τὴν ὁδόν σου ἔμπροσθέν σου.”

Hic est, de quo scriptum est: "Ecce ego mitto angelum meum ante faciem tuam, qui praeparabit viam tuam ante te".

10 რამეთუ ესე არს, რომლისათჳს წერილ არს: აჰა ესერა წარვავლინო ანგელოზი ჩემი წინაშე შენსა, რომელმან განჰმზადეს გზანი შენნი წინაშე პირსა შენსა.

10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, οὐκ ἐγήγερται ἐν γεννητοῖς γυναικῶν μείζων Ἰωάνου τοῦ βαπτιστοῦ: ὁ δὲ μικρότερος ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῶν οὐρανῶν μείζων αὐτοῦ ἐστίν.

Amen dico vobis: Non surrexit inter natos mulierum maior Ioanne Baptista; qui autem minor est in regno caelorum, maior est illo.

11 ამენ გეტყჳ თქუენ: არა აღდგომილ არს ნაშობთაგანი დედათაჲ უფროჲს იოვანეს ნათლის-მცემელისა; ხოლო უმცირესი სასუფეველსა ცათასა უფროჲს მისა არს.

11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

ἀπὸ δὲ τῶν ἡμερῶν Ἰωάνου τοῦ βαπτιστοῦ ἕως ἄρτι ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν βιάζεται, καὶ βιασταὶ ἁρπάζουσιν αὐτήν.

A diebus autem Ioannis Baptistae usque nunc regnum caelorum vim patitur, et violenti rapiunt illud.

12 რამეთუ დღითგან იოვანე ნათლის-მცემლისაჲთ ვიდრე აქამომდე სასუფეველი ცათაჲ იიძულების; და რომელნი აიძულებდენ, მათ მიიტაცონ იგი.

12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

πάντες γὰρ οἱ προφῆται καὶ ὁ νόμος ἕως Ἰωάνου ἐπροφήτευσαν:

Omnes enim Prophetae et Lex usque ad Ioannem prophetaverunt;

13 რამეთუ ყოველნი წინაწარმეტყუელნი და სჯული ვიდრე იოვანესამდე წინაწარმეტყუელებდეს.

13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

καὶ εἰ θέλετε δέξασθαι, αὐτός ἐστιν Ἠλείας ὁ μέλλων ἔρχεσθαι.

et si vultis recipere, ipse est Elias, qui venturus est.

14 და უკუეთუ გნებავს შეწყნარების, იგი არს ელია, რომელი მოვალს.

14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.

Ὁ ἔχων ὦτα ἀκουέτω.

Qui habet aures, audiat.

15 რომელსა ასხენ ყურნი სმენად, ისმინენ!

15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Τίνι δὲ ὁμοιώσω τὴν γενεὰν ταύτην; ὁμοία ἐστὶν παιδίοις καθημένοις ἐν ταῖς ἀγοραῖς ὓ προσφωνοῦντα τοῖς ἑτέροις

Cui autem similem aestimabo generationem istam? Similis est pueris sedentibus in foro, qui clamantes coaequalibus

16 აწ ვის ვამსგავსო ნათესავი ესე? მსგავს არს ყრმათა, რომელნი სხენედ უბანთა და მოუწესედ მოყუასთა თჳსთა

16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,

λέγουσιν ‘ Ηὐλήσαμεν ὑμῖν καὶ οὐκ ὠρχήσασθε: ἐθρηνήσαμεν καὶ οὐκ ἐκόψασθε: ’

dicunt: “Cecinimus vobis, et non saltastis; lamentavimus, et non planxistis”.

17 და ეტყჳედ მათ: გისტჳნევდით თქუენ, და არა ჰროკევდით, გიგოდებდით, და არა იტყებდით.

17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.

ἦλθεν γὰρ Ἰωάνης μήτε ἐσθίων μήτε πίνων, καὶ λέγουσιν Δαιμόνιον ἔχει:

Venit enim Ioannes neque manducans neque bibens, et dicunt: “Daemonium habet!”;

18 რამეთუ მოვიდა იოვანე, არცა ჭამდა, არცა სუმიდა, და იტყჳან, ვითარმედ: ეშმაკეულ არს.

18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.

ἦλθεν ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐσθίων καὶ πίνων, καὶ λέγουσιν Ἰδοὺ ἄνθρωπος φάγος καὶ οἰνοπότης, τελωνῶν φίλος καὶ ἁμαρτωλῶν. καὶ ἐδικαιώθη ἡ σοφία ἀπὸ τῶν ἔργων αὐτῆς.

venit Filius hominis manducans et bibens, et dicunt: “Ecce homo vorax et potator vini, publicanorum amicus et peccatorum!”. Et iustificata est sapientia ab operibus suis”.

19 მოვიდა ძე კაცისაჲ, ჭამს და სუამს, და იტყჳან: აჰა კაცი მჭამელი და ღჳნის-მსუმელი, მეგობარი მეზუერეთა და ცოდვილთაჲ. და განმართლდა სიბრძნე შვილთაგან თჳსთა.

19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

Τότε ἤρξατο ὀνειδίζειν τὰς πόλεις ἐν αἷς ἐγένοντο αἱ πλεῖσται δυνάμεις αὐτοῦ, ὅτι οὐ μετενόησαν:

Tunc coepit exprobrare civitatibus, in quibus factae sunt plurimae virtutes eius, quia non egissent paenitentiam:

20 მაშინ იწყო იესუ ყუედრებად ქალაქებისა მის, სადა-იგი იქმნნეს უმრავლესნი ძალნი მისნი, რამეთუ არა შეინანეს:

20 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:

Οὐαί σοι, Χοραζείν: οὐαί σοι, Βηθσαιδάν: ὅτι εἰ ἐν Τύρῳ καὶ Σιδῶνι ἐγένοντο αἱ δυνάμεις αἱ γενόμεναι ἐν ὑμῖν, πάλαι ἂν ἐν σάκκῳ καὶ σποδῷ μετενόησαν.

“Vae tibi, Chorazin! Vae tibi, Bethsaida! Quia si in Tyro et Sidone factae essent virtutes, quae factae sunt in vobis, olim in cilicio et cinere paenitentiam egissent.

21 ვაჲ შენდა, ქორაზინ, და ვაჲ შენდა, ბეთსაიდა! რამეთუ ტჳროსს თუმცა და სიდონს იქმნნეს ძალნი მისნი, რომელნი იქმნნეს თქუენ შორის, მაშინვე სამემცა ძაძითა ნაცარსა ზედა მსხდომარეთა შეინანეს.

21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

πλὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, Τύρῳ καὶ Σιδῶνι ἀνεκτότερον ἔσται ἐν ἡμέρᾳ κρίσεως ἢ ὑμῖν.

Verumtamen dico vobis: Tyro et Sidoni remissius erit in die iudicii quam vobis.

22 ხოლო გეტყჳ თქუენ, რამეთუ ტჳროსი და სიდონი უმოლხინეს იყოს დღესა მას სასჯელისასა, ვიდრე თქუენ.

22 But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.

Καὶ σύ, Καφαρναούμ, μὴ “ἕως οὐρανοῦ ὑψωθήσῃ; ἕως ᾄδου καταβήσῃ.” ὅτι εἰ ἐν Σοδόμοις ἐγενήθησαν αἱ δυνάμεις αἱ γενόμεναι ἐν σοί, ἔμεινεν ἂν μέχρι τῆς σήμερον.

Et tu, Capharnaum, numquid usque in caelum exaltaberis? Usque in infernum descendes! Quia si in Sodomis factae fuissent virtutes, quae factae sunt in te, mansissent usque in hunc diem.

23 ხოლო შენ, კაპერნაუმ, ნუ ცადმდე აჰმაღლდები, არამედ ჯოჯოხეთადმდე შთაჰჴდე, რამეთუ სოდომს თუმცა იქმნნეს ძალნი, რომელნი იქმნნეს შენ შორის, ჰგიანამცა დღენდელად დღედმდე.

23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

πλὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι γῇ Σοδόμων ἀνεκτότερον ἔσται ἐν ἡμέρᾳ κρίσεως ἢ σοί.

Verumtamen dico vobis: Terrae Sodomorum remissius erit in die iudicii quam tibi”.

24 ხოლო გეტყჳ თქუენ, რამეთუ ქუეყანაჲ იგი სოდომისაჲ უმოლხინეს იყოს დღესა მას სასჯელისასა, ვიდრე შენ.

24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.

Ἐν ἐκείνῳ τῷ καιρῷ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν Ἐξομολογοῦμαί σοι, πάτερ κύριε τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ τῆς γῆς, ὅτι ἔκρυψας ταῦτα ἀπὸ σοφῶν καὶ συνετῶν, καὶ ἀπεκάλυψας αὐτὰ νηπίοις:

In illo tempore respondens Iesus dixit: “Confiteor tibi, Pater, Domine caeli et terrae, quia abscondisti haec a sapientibus et prudentibus et revelasti ea parvulis.

25 მას ჟამსა შინა იტყოდა იესუ და თქუა: აღგიარებ შენ, მამაო, უფალო ცისა და ქუეყანისაო, რამეთუ დაჰფარე ესე ბრძენთაგან და მეცნიერთა და გამოუცხადე ესე ჩჩჳლთა.

25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

ναί, ὁ πατήρ, ὅτι οὕτως εὐδοκία ἐγένετο ἔμπροσθέν σου.

Ita, Pater, quoniam sic fuit placitum ante te.

26 ჰე, მამაო, რამეთუ ესრეთ სათნო-იყო შენ წინაშე.

26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.

Πάντα μοι παρεδόθη ὑπὸ τοῦ πατρός μου, καὶ οὐδεὶς ἐπιγινώσκει τὸν υἱὸν εἰ μὴ ὁ πατήρ, οὐδὲ τὸν πατέρα τις ἐπιγινώσκει εἰ μὴ ὁ υἱὸς καὶ ᾧ ἐὰν βούληται ὁ υἱὸς ἀποκαλύψαι.

Omnia mihi tradita sunt a Patre meo; et nemo novit Filium nisi Pater, neque Patrem quis novit nisi Filius et cui voluerit Filius revelare.

27 ყოველივე მომეცა მე მამისა ჩემისა მიერ; და არავინ იცის ძე, გარნა მამამან; არცა მამაჲ ვინ იცის, გარნა ძემან, და რომლისაჲ უნდეს ძესა გამოცხადების.

27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

Δεῦτε πρός με πάντες οἱ κοπιῶντες καὶ πεφορτισμένοι, κἀγὼ ἀναπαύσω ὑμᾶς.

Venite ad me, omnes, qui laboratis et onerati estis, et ego reficiam vos.

28 მოვედით ჩემდა ყოველნი მაშურალნი და ტჳრთმძიმენი, და მე განგისუენო თქუენ.

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

ἄρατε τὸν ζυγόν μου ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς καὶ μάθετε ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ, ὅτι πραΰς εἰμι καὶ ταπεινὸς τῇ καρδίᾳ, καὶ “εὑρήσετε ἀνάπαυσιν ταῖς ψυχαῖς ὑμῶν:”

Tollite iugum meum super vos et discite a me, quia mitis sum et humilis corde, et invenietis requiem animabus vestris.

29 აღიღეთ უღელი ჩემი თქუენ ზედა და ისწავეთ ჩემგან, რამეთუ მშჳდ ვარ და მდაბალ გულითა, და ჰპოოთ განსუენებაჲ სულთა თქუენთაჲ.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

ὁ γὰρ ζυγός μου χρηστὸς καὶ τὸ φορτίον μου ἐλαφρόν ἐστιν.

Iugum enim meum suave, et onus meum leve est”.

30 რამეთუ უღელი ჩემი ტკბილ არს, და ტჳრთი ჩემი სუბუქ არს.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
