Upſala konongar váro ǫztir kononga (14) i Sviþioð. þa er þar váro margir heraðs (15) konongar, fra því er Oðiɴ var hofþin-(16)--gi i Sviþioð, váro einvaldz hofþingiar (17) þeir er at upſǫlủm ſáto, um alt Svía (18) velde, til þess er Agni do. Uppsalakonungar váru œztir konunga í Svíþjóð, þá er þar váru margir heraðskonungar. Frá því er Óðinn var hǫfðingi í Svíþjóð, váru einvaldshǫfðingjar þeir, er at Uppsǫlum sátu, um alt Svíaveldi, til þess er Agni dó, en þá kom ríkit fyrst i brœðraskipti, svá sem fyrr er ritit,

Uppsala-kongane var dei høgste kongane i Svitjod, den tid daa de var mange herads-kongar der, alt fraa di Odin var hovding i Svitjod. Dei som sat i Uppsalir var einvaldshovdingar yvi heile Sviavelde, til dess Agne døydde.
