Καὶ γενομένου σαββάτου ἤρξατο διδάσκειν ἐν τῇ συναγωγῇ: καὶ οἱ πολλοὶ ἀκούοντες ἐξεπλήσσοντο λέγοντες Πόθεν τούτῳ ταῦτα, καὶ τίς ἡ σοφία ἡ δοθεῖσα τούτῳ, καὶ αἱ δυνάμεις τοιαῦται διὰ τῶν χειρῶν αὐτοῦ γινόμεναι;

et facto sabbato cœpit in synagoga docere: et multi audientes admirabantur in doctrina ejus, dicentes: Unde huic hæc omnia? et quæ est sapientia, quæ data est illi, et virtutes tales, quæ per manus ejus efficiuntur?

2 და იყო შაბათი, და იწყო შესაკრებელსა მათსა სწავლად მათა. და მრავალთა, რომელთა ესმოდა, განუკჳრდებოდა და იტყოდეს: ვინაჲ არს ესე ამისა? ანუ რაჲ არს სიბრძნე ესე მოცემული ამისა, და ძალნი ესოდენნი, ჴელთაგან ამისთა რომელნი იქმნებიან?

And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?

οὐχ οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ τέκτων, ὁ υἱὸς τῆς Μαρίας καὶ ἀδελφὸς Ἰακώβου καὶ Ἰωσῆτος καὶ Ἰούδα καὶ Σίμωνος; καὶ οὐκ εἰσὶν αἱ ἀδελφαὶ αὐτοῦ ὧδε πρὸς ἡμᾶς; καὶ ἐσκανδαλίζοντο ἐν αὐτῷ.

Nonne hic est faber, filius Mariæ, frater Jacobi, et Joseph, et Judæ, et Simonis? nonne et sorores ejus hic nobiscum sunt? Et scandalizabantur in illo.

3 ანუ არა ესე არსა ხუროჲსაჲ მის და ძე მარიამისი და ძმაჲ იაკობისი და იოსესი, იუდაჲსი და სიმონისი? და დანი მისნი ყოველნი ჩუენ თანა არიან? და დაჰბრკოლდებოდეს მისა მიმართ.

Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.

καὶ ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς ὅτι Οὐκ ἔστιν προφήτης ἄτιμος εἰ μὴ ἐν τῇ πατρίδι αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐν τοῖς συγγενεῦσιν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ αὐτοῦ.

Et dicebat illis Jesus: Quia non est propheta sine honore nisi in patria sua, et in domo sua, et in cognatione sua.

4 ხოლო იესუ ეტყოდა: არა არს წინაწარმეტყუელი შეურაცხ, გარნა თჳსსა სოფელსა და ნათესავთა შორის მისთა და სახლსა შინა თჳსსა.

But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.

Καὶ οὐκ ἐδύνατο ἐκεῖ ποιῆσαι οὐδεμίαν δύναμιν, εἰ μὴ ὀλίγοις ἀρρώστοις ἐπιθεὶς τὰς χεῖρας ἐθεράπευσεν:

Et non poterat ibi virtutem ullam facere, nisi paucos infirmos impositis manibus curavit:

5 და არა ქმნა მუნ ძალი არცა ერთი, გარნა მცირედთა სნეულთა ჴელი დასდვა და განკურნნა იგინი.

And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

καὶ ἐθαύμασεν διὰ τὴν ἀπιστίαν αὐτῶν. Καὶ περιῆγεν τὰς κώμας κύκλῳ διδάσκων.

et mirabatur propter incredulitatem eorum, et circuibat castella in circuitu docens.

6 და დაუკჳრდა ურწმუნოებაჲ იგი მათი და მიმოიქცეოდა გარემო სოფლებსა მას და ასწავებდა მათ.

And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

Καὶ προσκαλεῖται τοὺς δώδεκα, καὶ ἤρξατο αὐτοὺς ἀποστέλλειν δύο δύο, καὶ ἐδίδου αὐτοῖς ἐξουσίαν τῶν πνευμάτων τῶν ἀκαθάρτων,

Et vocavit duodecim: et cœpit eos mittere binos, et dabat illis potestatem spirituum immundorum.

7 და მოუწოდა ათორმეტთა მათ და იწყო წარვლინებად მათა ორ-ორისა და მისცემდა ჴელმწიფებასა სულთა ზედა არაწმიდათა.

And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;

καὶ παρήγγειλεν αὐτοῖς ἵνα μηδὲν αἴρωσιν εἰς ὁδὸν εἰ μὴ ῥάβδον μόνον, μὴ ἄρτον, μὴ πήραν, μὴ εἰς τὴν ζώνην χαλκόν,

Et præcepit eis ne quid tollerent in via, nisi virgam tantum: non peram, non panem, neque in zona æs,

8 და ამცნებდა მათ, რაჲთა არარაჲ მიიღონ გზასა ზედა, გარნა კუერთხი ხოლო: ნუცა ვაშკარანი, ნუცა პური, ნუცა სარტყელსა რვალი.

And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:

ἀλλὰ ὑποδεδεμένους σανδάλια, καὶ μὴ ἐνδύσασθαι δύο χιτῶνας.

sed calceatos sandaliis, et ne induerentur duabus tunicis.

9 და რაჲთა ესხნენ სანდალნი, და ნუცა შემოსად ორი სამოსელი.

But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.

καὶ ἔλεγεν αὐτοῖς Ὅπου ἐὰν εἰσέλθητε εἰς οἰκίαν, ἐκεῖ μένετε ἕως ἂν ἐξέλθητε ἐκεῖθεν.

Et dicebat eis: Quocumque introieritis in domum, illic manete donec exeatis inde:

10 და ეტყოდა მათ: ვიდრეცა შეხჳდეთ სახლსა, მუნ დაადგერით, ვიდრე მიერ გამოსლვადმდე.

And he said unto them, In what place soever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place.

καὶ ὃς ἂν τόπος μὴ δέξηται ὑμᾶς μηδὲ ἀκούσωσιν ὑμῶν, ἐκπορευόμενοι ἐκεῖθεν ἐκτινάξατε τὸν χοῦν τὸν ὑποκάτω τῶν ποδῶν ὑμῶν εἰς μαρτύριον αὐτοῖς.

et quicumque non receperint vos, nec audierint vos, exeuntes inde, excutite pulverem de pedibus vestris in testimonium illis.

11 და რაოდენთა არა შეგიწყნარნენ თქუენ და არცა ისმინონ თქუენი, გამო-რაჲ-ხჳდოდით მიერ, განიყარეთ მტუერი ფერჴთაგან თქუენთა საწამებელად მათა. ამენ გეტყჳ თქუენ: უმოლხინეს იყოს სოდომისა და გომორისა დღესა მას სასჯელისასა, ვიდრე ქალაქისა მის.

And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Καὶ ἐξελθόντες ἐκήρυξαν ἵνα μετανοῶσιν,

Et exeuntes prædicabant ut pœnitentiam agerent:

12 და გამოვიდეს და ქადაგებდეს, რაჲთა შეინანონ.

And they went out, and preached that men should repent.

καὶ δαιμόνια πολλὰ ἐξέβαλλον, καὶ ἤλειφον ἐλαίῳ πολλοὺς ἀρρώστους καὶ ἐθεράπευον.

et dæmonia multa ejiciebant, et ungebant oleo multos ægros, et sanabant.

13 და ეშმაკნი მრავალნი განასხნეს და სცხებდეს ზეთსა მრავალთა სნეულთა და განჰკურნებდეს.

And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.

Καὶ ἤκουσεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Ἡρῴδης, φανερὸν γὰρ ἐγένετο τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἔλεγον ὅτι Ἰὼάνης ὁ βαπτίζων ἐγήγερται ἐκ νεκρῶν, καὶ διὰ τοῦτο ἐνεργοῦσιν αἱ δυνάμεις ἐν αὐτῷ:

Et audivit rex Herodes (manifestum enim factum est nomen ejus), et dicebat: Quia Joannes Baptista resurrexit a mortuis: et propterea virtutes operantur in illo.

14 და ესმა ჰეროდეს მეფესა, რამეთუ განცხადნა სახელი მისი, და იტყოდა, ვითარმედ: იოვანე ნათლის-მცემელი მკუდრეთით აღდგომილ არს, და მისთჳს იქმნებიან ძალნი მისნი თანა.

And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.

ἄλλοι δὲ ἔλεγον ὅτι Ἠλείας ἐστίν: ἄλλοι δὲ ἔλεγον ὅτι προφήτης ὡς εἷς τῶν προφητῶν.

Alii autem dicebant: Quia Elias est; alii vero dicebant: Quia propheta est, quasi unus ex prophetis.

15 და სხუანი იტყოდეს: ელია არს გინა ვითარცა ერთი წინაწარმეტყუელთაგანი პირველთაჲ.

Others said, That it is Elias. And others said, That it is a prophet, or as one of the prophets.

ἀκούσας δὲ ὁ Ἡρῴδης ἔλεγεν Ὃν ἐγὼ ἀπεκεφάλισα Ἰωάνην, οὗτος ἠγέρθη.

Quo audito Herodes ait: Quem ego decollavi Joannem, hic a mortuis resurrexit.

16 ესმა რაჲ ჰეროდეს, თქუა, ვითარმედ: რომელსა მე თავი მოვჰკუეთე იოვანეს, იგი აღდგომილ არს მკუდრეთით.

But when Herod heard thereof, he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead.

Αὐτὸς γὰρ ὁ Ἡρῴδης ἀποστείλας ἐκράτησεν τὸν Ἰωάνην καὶ ἔδησεν αὐτὸν ἐν φυλακῇ διὰ Ἡρῳδιάδα τὴν γυναῖκα Φιλίππου τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ αὐτοῦ, ὅτι αὐτὴν ἐγάμησεν:

Ipse enim Herodes misit, ac tenuit Joannem, et vinxit eum in carcere propter Herodiadem uxorem Philippi fratris sui, quia duxerat eam.

17 რამეთუ ამან ჰეროდე მიავლინა და შეიპყრა იოვანე, შებორკილა იგი და შესუა საპყრობილედ ჰეროდიადაჲსთჳს, ცოლისა ფილიპესა, ძმისა მისისა, რამეთუ იგი შეირთო ცოლად.

For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias’ sake, his brother Philip’s wife: for he had married her.

ἔλεγεν γὰρ ὁ Ἰωάνης τῷ Ἡρῴδῃ ὅτι Οὐκ ἔξεστίν σοι ἔχειν τὴν γυναῖκα τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ σου.

Dicebat enim Joannes Herodi: Non licet tibi habere uxorem fratris tui.

18 რამეთუ ეტყოდა იოვანე ჰეროდეს, ვითარმედ: არა ჯერ-არს შენდა, ვითარმცა ცოლად გესუა ძმის-ცოლი შენი.

For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother’s wife.

ἡ δὲ Ἡρῳδιὰς ἐνεῖχεν αὐτῷ καὶ ἤθελεν αὐτὸν ἀποκτεῖναι, καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνατο:

Herodias autem insidiabatur illi: et volebat occidere eum, nec poterat.

19 ხოლო ჰეროდიას გულსა დაედვა მისთჳს და უნდა მოკლვაჲ მისი და ვერ ჴელ-ეწიფა.

Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have killed him; but she could not:

ὁ γὰρ Ἡρῴδης ἐφοβεῖτο τὸν Ἰωάνην, εἰδὼς αὐτὸν ἄνδρα δίκαιον καὶ ἅγιον, καὶ συνετήρει αὐτόν, καὶ ἀκούσας αὐτοῦ πολλὰ ἠπόρει, καὶ ἡδέως αὐτοῦ ἤκουεν.

Herodes enim metuebat Joannem, sciens eum virum justum et sanctum: et custodiebat eum, et audito eo multa faciebat, et libenter eum audiebat.

20 რამეთუ ჰეროდეს ეშინოდა იოვანესა და იცოდა იგი, რამეთუ კაცი მართალი და წმიდაჲ არს, და სცვიდა მას და ისმინის მისი და მრავალსა პატივსა უყოფდა და ჯეროვნად ისმენდა მისსა.

For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.

Καὶ γενομένης ἡμέρας εὐκαίρου ὅτε Ἡρῴδης τοῖς γενεσίοις αὐτοῦ δεῖπνον ἐποίησεν τοῖς μεγιστᾶσιν αὐτοῦ καὶ τοῖς χιλιάρχοις καὶ τοῖς πρώτοις τῆς Γαλιλαίας,

Et cum dies opportunus accidisset, Herodes natalis sui cœnam fecit principibus, et tribunis, et primis Galilææ:

21 და ვითარცა იყო დღე მარჯუჱ, ოდეს ჰეროდე ჟამსა შობისა მისისასა სერი უმზადა მთავართა მისთა და ათასისთავთა მისთა და აზნაურთა გალილეაჲსათა,

And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;

καὶ εἰσελθούσης τῆς θυγατρὸς αὐτοῦ Ἡρῳδιάδος καὶ ὀρχησαμένης, ἤρεσεν τῷ Ἡρῴδῃ καὶ τοῖς συνανακειμένοις. ὁ δὲ βασιλεὺς εἶπεν τῷ κορασίῳ Αἴτησόν με ὃ ἐὰν θέλῃς, καὶ δώσω σοι:

cumque introisset filia ipsius Herodiadis, et saltasset, et placuisset Herodi, simulque recumbentibus, rex ait puellæ: Pete a me quod vis, et dabo tibi:

22 და შევიდა ასული ჰეროდიაჲსი და როკვიდა; და სთნდა ჰეროდეს და მის თანა მიენაჴეთა. და ჰრქუა ჰეროდე მეფემან ქალსა მას: მთხოვე, რაჲცა გნებავს, და მიგცე შენ.

And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.

καὶ ὤμοσεν αὐτῇ Ὅτι ἐάν με αἰτήσῃς δώσω σοι ἕως ἡμίσους τῆς βασιλείας μου.

et juravit illi: Quia quidquid petieris dabo tibi, licet dimidium regni mei.

23 და ეფუცა მას, ვითარმედ: რაჲცა ითხოო, მიგცე შენ, ვიდრე ზოგადმდე მეფობისა ჩემისა.

And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom.

καὶ ἐξελθοῦσα εἶπεν τῇ μητρὶ αὐτῆς Τί αἰτήσωμαι; ἡ δὲ εἶπεν Τὴν κεφαλὴν Ἰωάνου τοῦ βαπτίζοντος.

Quæ cum exisset, dixit matri suæ: Quid petam? At illa dixit: Caput Joannis Baptistæ.

24 ხოლო იგი გამოვიდა და ჰკითხა დედასა თჳსსა, ვითარმედ: რაჲ ვითხოო? ხოლო მან ჰრქუა მას: თავი იოვანე ნათლის-მცემელისაჲ.

And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.

καὶ εἰσελθοῦσα εὐθὺς μετὰ σπουδῆς πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα ᾐτήσατο λέγουσα Θέλω ἵνα ἐξαυτῆς δῷς μοι ἐπὶ πίνακι τὴν κεφαλὴν Ἰωάνου τοῦ βαπτιστοῦ.

Cumque introisset statim cum festinatione ad regem, petivit dicens: Volo ut protinus des mihi in disco caput Joannis Baptistæ.

25 და შევიდა ქალი იგი მსრწაფლ მეფისა და ჰრქუა: მნებავს, რაჲთა აწვე მომცე მე ლაკნითა თავი იოვანე ნათლის-მცემელისაჲ.

And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.

καὶ περίλυπος γενόμενος ὁ βασιλεὺς διὰ τοὺς ὅρκους καὶ τοὺς ἀνακειμένους οὐκ ἠθέλησεν ἀθετῆσαι αὐτήν:

Et contristatus est rex: propter jusjurandum, et propter simul discumbentes, noluit eam contristare:

26 და მწუხარე იქმნა ჰეროდე მეფე, ხოლო ფიცისა მისთჳს და მის თანა მეინაჴეთა არა ინება შეურაცხ-ყოფაჲ ქალისაჲ მის.

And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath’s sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.

καὶ εὐθὺς ἀποστείλας ὁ βασιλεὺς σπεκουλάτορα ἐπέταξεν ἐνέγκαι τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ. καὶ ἀπελθὼν ἀπεκεφάλισεν αὐτὸν ἐν τῇ φυλακῇ

sed misso speculatore præcepit afferri caput ejus in disco. Et decollavit eum in carcere,

27 და მეყსეულად წარავლინა მეჴრმლე მისი და უბრძანა მოღებად თავი მისი.

And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,

καὶ ἤνεγκεν τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ πίνακι καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὴν τῷ κορασίῳ, καὶ τὸ κοράσιον ἔδωκεν αὐτὴν τῇ μητρὶ αὐτῆς.

et attulit caput ejus in disco: et dedit illud puellæ, et puella dedit matri suæ.

28 ხოლო იგი წარვიდა და მოჰკუეთა თავი საპყრობილესა შინა და მოიღო თავი მისი ფეშხუენითა და მისცა ქალსა მას, და ქალმან მან მიართუა დედასა თჳსსა.

And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother.

καὶ ἀκούσαντες οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἦλθαν καὶ ἦραν τὸ πτῶμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔθηκαν αὐτὸ ἐν μνημείῳ.

Quo audito, discipuli ejus venerunt, et tulerunt corpus ejus: et posuerunt illud in monumento.

29 და ესმა მოწაფეთა მისთა, მოვიდეს და შემოსეს გუამი მისი და დაჰფლეს საფლავსა.

And when his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.

Καὶ συνάγονται οἱ ἀπόστολοι πρὸς τὸν Ἰησοῦν, καὶ ἀπήγγειλαν αὐτῷ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησαν καὶ ὅσα ἐδίδαξαν.

Et convenientes Apostoli ad Jesum, renuntiaverunt ei omnia quæ egerant, et docuerant.

30 და მოვიდეს და შემოკრბეს მოციქულნი იესუჲსა და უთხრეს მას ყოველი, რაოდენი ქმნეს და ასწავეს.

And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.

καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς Δεῦτε ὑμεῖς αὐτοὶ κατ᾽ ἰδίαν εἰς ἔρημον τόπον καὶ ἀναπαύσασθε ὀλίγον. ἦσαν γὰρ οἱ ἐρχόμενοι καὶ οἱ ὑπάγοντες πολλοί, καὶ οὐδὲ φαγεῖν εὐκαίρουν.

Et ait illis: Venite seorsum in desertum locum, et requiescite pusillum. Erant enim qui veniebant et redibant multi: et nec spatium manducandi habebant.

31 და ჰრქუა მათ იესუ: მოვედით თქუენ თჳსაგან უდაბნოსა ადგილსა და განისუენეთ მცირედ. რამეთუ იყვნეს მომავალნი და წარმავალნი მრავალ და არცაღა პურისა ჭამად აცალებდეს.

And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

καὶ ἀπῆλθον ἐν τῷ πλοίῳ εἰς ἔρημον τόπον κατ᾽ ἰδίαν.

Et ascendentes in navim, abierunt in desertum locum seorsum.

32 და წარვიდეს უდაბნოსა ადგილსა ნავითა თჳსაგან.

And they departed into a desert place by ship privately.

καὶ εἶδαν αὐτοὺς ὑπάγοντας καὶ ἔγνωσαν πολλοί, καὶ πεζῇ ἀπὸ πασῶν τῶν πόλεων συνέδραμον ἐκεῖ καὶ προῆλθον αὐτούς.

Et viderunt eos abeuntes, et cognoverunt multi: et pedestres de omnibus civitatibus concurrerunt illuc, et prævenerunt eos.

33 და იხილა ერმან მან, წარ-ღა-ვიდოდეს, და გულისჴმა-ყვეს მრავალთა, და მკჳრცხლ ყოვლისაგან ქალაქებისა შეკრბა მუნ და მოვიდეს მათა.

And the people saw them departing, and many knew him, and ran afoot thither out of all cities, and outwent them, and came together unto him.

Καὶ ἐξελθὼν εἶδεν πολὺν ὄχλον, καὶ ἐσπλαγχνίσθη ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς ὅτι ἦσαν “ὡς πρόβατα μὴ ἔχοντα ποιμένα,” καὶ ἤρξατο διδάσκειν αὐτοὺς πολλά.

Et exiens vidit turbam multam Jesus: et misertus est super eos, quia erant sicut oves non habentes pastorem, et cœpit docere multa.

34 და გამოვიდა იესუ და იხილა ერი მრავალი და შეეწყალნეს იგინი, რამეთუ იყვნეს, ვითარცა ცხოვარნი, რომელთა არა აქუნ მწყემსი. და იწყო სწავლად მათდა ფრიად.

And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.

Καὶ ἤδη ὥρας πολλῆς γενομένης προσελθόντες αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἔλεγον ὅτι Ἔρημός ἐστιν ὁ τόπος, καὶ ἤδη ὥρα πολλή:

Et cum jam hora multa fieret, accesserunt discipuli ejus, dicentes: Desertus est locus hic, et jam hora præteriit:

35 და ვითარ მრავალი ჟამი წარსულ იყო, მოვიდეს მოწაფენი მისნი და ეტყოდეს მას, ვითარმედ: უდაბნო არს ადგილი ესე, და ჟამი არსღა ფრიად.

And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:

ἀπόλυσον αὐτούς, ἵνα ἀπελθόντες εἰς τοὺς κύκλῳ ἀγροὺς καὶ κώμας ἀγοράσωσιν ἑαυτοῖς τί φάγωσιν.

dimitte illos, ut euntes in proximas villas et vicos, emant sibi cibos, quos manducent.

36 განუტევე ერი ესე, რაჲთა წარვიდენ გარემო სოფლებსა და სანახებსა და იყიდონ თავისა მათისა საზრდელი, რამეთუ რაჲმცა ჭამეს, არა აქუს.

Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat.

ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Δότε αὐτοῖς ὑμεῖς φαγεῖν. καὶ λέγουσιν αὐτῷ Ἀπελθόντες ἀγοράσωμεν δηναρίων διακοσίων ἄρτους καὶ δώσομεν αὐτοῖς φαγεῖν;

Et respondens ait illis: Date illis vos manducare. Et dixerunt ei: Euntes emamus ducentis denariis panes, et dabimus illis manducare.

37 ხოლო თავადმან მიუგო და ჰრქუა მათ: ეცით თქუენ მაგათ ჭამადი. ხოლო მათ ჰრქუეს მას: წარვიდეთ და ვიყიდოთ ორასისა დრაჰკნისა პური და ვსცეთ მათ ჭამადი.

He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat?

ὁ δὲ λέγει αὐτοῖς Πόσους ἔχετε ἄρτους; ὑπάγετε ἴδετε. καὶ γνόντες λέγουσιν Πέντε, καὶ δύο ἰχθύας.

Et dicit eis: Quot panes habetis? ite, et videte. Et cum cognovissent, dicunt: Quinque, et duos pisces.

38 ხოლო იესუ ჰრქუა მათ: რაოდენი გაქუს პური? მივედით და იხილეთ. და იხილეს და ჰრქუეს: ხუთი პური და ორი თევზი.

He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes.

καὶ ἐπέταξεν αὐτοῖς ἀνακλιθῆναι πάντας συμπόσια συμπόσια ἐπὶ τῷ χλωρῷ χόρτῳ.

Et præcepit illis ut accumbere facerent omnes secundum contubernia super viride fœnum.

39 და უბრძანა მან დასხდომაჲ მათ ყოველთაჲ პურისმტედ-პურისმტედ მწუანვილსა ზედა თივისასა.

And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.

καὶ ἀνέπεσαν πρασιαὶ πρασιαὶ κατὰ ἑκατὸν καὶ κατὰ πεντήκοντα.

Et discubuerunt in partes per centenos et quinquagenos.

40 და დასხდა მწყობრად-მწყობრად ას-ასი და ერგასის-ერგასისი.

And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.

καὶ λαβὼν τοὺς πέντε ἄρτους καὶ τοὺς δύο ἰχθύας ἀναβλέψας εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν εὐλόγησεν καὶ κατέκλασεν τοὺς ἄρτους καὶ ἐδίδου τοῖς μαθηταῖς ἵνα παρατιθῶσιν αὐτοῖς, καὶ τοὺς δύο ἰχθύας ἐμέρισεν πᾶσιν.

Et acceptis quinque panibus et duobus pisces, intuens in cælum, benedixit, et fregit panes, et dedit discipulis suis, ut ponerent ante eos: et duos pisces divisit omnibus.

41 და მოიღო ხუთი იგი პური და ორი თევზი და აღიხილნა ზეცად და აკურთხა და დამუსრა პური იგი და მისცემდა მოწაფეთა თჳსთა, რაჲთა დაუგონ მათ; და ორი იგი თევზი ეგრეთვე განუყო ყოველთა.

And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.

καὶ ἔφαγον πάντες καὶ ἐχορτάσθησαν:

Et manducaverunt omnes, et saturati sunt.

42 და ჭამეს ყოველთა და განძღეს.

And they did all eat, and were filled.

καὶ ἦραν κλάσματα δώδεκα κοφίνων πληρώματα καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἰχθύων.

Et sustulerunt reliquias, fragmentorum duodecim cophinos plenos, et de piscibus.

43 და აღიღეს ნეშტი ნამუსრევი ათორმეტი გოდორი სავსებით; და თევზისა მისგანცა.

And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.

καὶ ἦσαν οἱ φαγόντες τοὺς ἄρτους πεντακισχίλιοι ἄνδρες.

Erant autem qui manducaverunt quinque millia virorum.

44 და იყვნეს, რაოდენთა-იგი ჭამეს, ვითარ ხუთ ათას კაცნი.

And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.

Καὶ εὐθὺς ἠνάγκασεν τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ ἐμβῆναι εἰς τὸ πλοῖον καὶ προάγειν εἰς τὸ πέραν πρὸς Βηθσαιδάν, ἕως αὐτὸς ἀπολύει τὸν ὄχλον.

Et statim coëgit discipulos suos ascendere navim, ut præcederent eum trans fretum ad Bethsaidam, dum ipse dimitteret populum.

45 და მეყსეულად აიძულა მოწაფეთა შესლვად ნავსა, რაჲთა წინა-წარუძღუენ მას წიაღკერძო ზღუასა მას ბეთსაიდად, ვიდრემდე განუტეოს მან ერი იგი.

And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people.

καὶ ἀποταξάμενος αὐτοῖς ἀπῆλθεν εἰς τὸ ὄρος προσεύξασθαι.

Et cum dimisisset eos, abiit in montem orare.

46 და უჯმნა მათ და აღვიდა მთასა ლოცვად.

And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.

καὶ ὀψίας γενομένης ἦν τὸ πλοῖον ἐν μέσῳ τῆς θαλάσσης, καὶ αὐτὸς μόνος ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.

Et cum sero esset, erat navis in medio mari et ipse solus in terra.

47 და ვითარცა შემწუხრდა, იყო ნავი იგი შუა ოდენ ზღუასა მას, და იგი თავადი – მარტოჲ ქუეყანასა.

And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land.

καὶ ἰδὼν αὐτοὺς βασανιζομένους ἐν τῷ ἐλαύνειν, ἦν γὰρ ὁ ἄνεμος ἐναντίος αὐτοῖς, περὶ τετάρτην φυλακὴν τῆς νυκτὸς ἔρχεται πρὸς αὐτοὺς περιπατῶν ἐπὶ τῆς θαλάσσης: καὶ ἤθελεν παρελθεῖν αὐτούς.

Et videns eos laborantes in remigando (erat enim ventus contrarius eis) et circa quartam vigiliam noctis venit ad eos ambulans supra mare: et volebat præterire eos.

48 და იხილნა იგინი, რამეთუ იურვოდეს სლვასა მას ნავისასა, რამეთუ იყო ქარი იგი პირით კერძო მათსა. და მეოთხესა საჴუმილავსა ღამისასა მოვიდა მათა იესუ სლვით ზღუასა ზედა და უნდა თანა-წარსლვად მათგან.

And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.

οἱ δὲ ἰδόντες αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τῆς θαλάσσης περιπατοῦντα ἔδοξαν ὅτι φάντασμά ἐστιν καὶ ἀνέκραξαν,

At illi ut viderunt eum ambulantem supra mare, putaverunt phantasma esse, et exclamaverunt.

49 ხოლო მათ ვითარცა იხილეს იგი, ვიდოდა რაჲ ზღუასა ზედა, ჰგონებდეს, ვითარმედ საოცარი რაჲმე არს, და ღაღად-ყვეს.

But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out:

πάντες γὰρ αὐτὸν εἶδαν καὶ ἐταράχθησαν. ὁ δὲ εὐθὺς ἐλάλησεν μετ᾽ αὐτῶν, καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς Θαρσεῖτε, ἐγώ εἰμι, μὴ φοβεῖσθε.

Omnes enim viderunt eum, et conturbati sunt. Et statim locutus est cum eis, et dixit eis: Confidite, ego sum: nolite timere.

50 რამეთუ ყოველთა იხილეს იგი და შეძრწუნდეს. და მეყსეულად ეტყოდა მათ და ჰრქუა: გულ-პყრობილ იყვენით, მე ვარ, ნუ გაშინინ!

For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.

καὶ ἀνέβη πρὸς αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸ πλοῖον, καὶ ἐκόπασεν ὁ ἄνεμος.

Et ascendit ad illos in navim, et cessavit ventus. Et plus magis intra se stupebant:

51 და აღვიდა მათ თანა ნავსა, და დასცხრა ქარი იგი; და უმეტესად დაუკჳრდებოდა მოწაფეთა მისთა.

And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered.

καὶ λίαν ἐν ἑαυτοῖς ἐξίσταντο, οὐ γὰρ συνῆκαν ἐπὶ τοῖς ἄρτοις, ἀλλ᾽ ἦν αὐτῶν ἡ καρδία πεπωρωμένη.

non enim intellexerunt de panibus: erat enim cor eorum obcæcatum.

52 რამეთუ ვერ გულისჴმა-ყვეს პურთა მათ ზედა, რამეთუ იყვნეს გულნი მათნი დასულებულ.

For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.

Καὶ διαπεράσαντες ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ἦλθον εἰς Γεννησαρὲτ καὶ προσωρμίσθησαν.

Et cum transfretassent, venerunt in terram Genesareth, et applicuerunt.

53 და წიაღჴდეს და მოვიდეს ქუეყანად გენესარეთად.

And when they had passed over, they came into the land of Gennesaret, and drew to the shore.

καὶ ἐξελθόντων αὐτῶν ἐκ τοῦ πλοίου εὐθὺς ἐπιγνόντες αὐτὸν

Cumque egressi essent de navi, continuo cognoverunt eum:

54 და ვითარ გამო-ოდენ-ვიდეს მიერ ნავით, მეყსეულად იცნეს იგი კაცთა მათ მის ადგილისათა.

And when they were come out of the ship, straightway they knew him,

περιέδραμον ὅλην τὴν χώραν ἐκείνην καὶ ἤρξαντο ἐπὶ τοῖς κραβάττοις τοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας περιφέρειν ὅπου ἤκουον ὅτι ἔστιν.

et percurrentes universam regionem illam, cœperunt in grabatis eos, qui se male habebant, circumferre, ubi audiebant eum esse.

55 და მიმორბიოდეს ყოველსა მას სოფლებსა და იწყეს მოღებად ყოველთა სნეულთა ცხედრებითა, სადაცა ესმის, ვითარმედ მუნ არს.

And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard he was.

καὶ ὅπου ἂν εἰσεπορεύετο εἰς κώμας ἢ εἰς πόλεις ἢ εἰς ἀγροὺς ἐν ταῖς ἀγοραῖς ἐτἵθεσαν τοὺς ἀσθενοῦντας, καὶ παρεκάλουν αὐτὸν ἵνα κἂν τοῦ κρασπέδου τοῦ ἱματίου αὐτοῦ ἅψωνται: καὶ ὅσοι ἂν ἥψαντο αὐτοῦ ἐσώζοντο.

Et quocumque introibat, in vicos, vel in villas aut civitates, in plateis ponebant infirmos, et deprecabantur eum, ut vel fimbriam vestimenti ejus tangerent, et quotquot tangebant eum, salvi fiebant.

56 და ვიდრეცა შევიდოდა დაბნებსა და ქალაქებსა და აგარაკებსა, უბანთა ზედა დასდგმიდეს უძლურთა მათთა და ევედრებოდეს მას, რაჲთა ფესუსა ოდენ სამოსლისა მისისასა შეახონ. და რაოდენნი შეეხებოდეს, ცხონდებოდეს.

And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.
