Note on the transliteration:
The transliteration system of the BP/TLB is based on the Unicode/UTF-8 system. However, there may be difficulties with some of the letters – particularly on PC/Windows-based systems, but not so much on the Mac. We have chosen the most accepted older and traditional systems of transliteration against, e.g, Wylie for Tibetan, since with Unicode it is possible, in Sanskrit and Tibetan, etc., to represent one sound with one letter in almost all the cases (excepting Sanskrit and Tibetan aspirated letters, and Tibetan tsa, tsha, dza). We thus do not use the Wylie system which widely employs two letters for one sound (ng, ny, sh, zh etc.).
 
Important:
We ask you in particular to note the use of the ’ apostrophe and not the ' representing the avagrāha in Sanskrit, and most important the ’a-chuṅ in Tibetan. On the Mac the ’ is Alt-M.

atha bhagavāṃs tad eva pravāraṇāyāṃ pañcadaśyāṃ purastād bhikṣusaṃghasya prajñapta evāsane niṣaṇṇaḥ. niṣadya bhagavān bhikṣūn āmantrayate sma. nirgacchanti bhikṣavo rātriḥ. kuruta bhikṣavaḥ pravāraṇām. athānyatamo bhikṣur utthāyāsanād ekāṃsam uttarāsaṅgaṃ kṛtvā yena bhagavāṃs tenāñjaliṃ praṇamya bhagavantam idam avocat. anyatamasmiṃ bhadaṃtāvāse bhikṣur ābādhiko duḥkhito bāḍhaglānaḥ. tasyāsmābhiḥ kathaṃ pratipattavyam. bhagavān āha. pravāraṇāsyānayitavyā. uktaṃ bhagavatā pravāraṇāsyānayitavyeti bhikṣavo na jānate katham ānayitavyeti. bhagavān āha. ekasyaikena dvayor ekena saṃbahulānāṃ yāvatāṃ vā śaknoti saṃghamadhye nāmāni parikīrtayitum.

於十(17)五日。作隨意時。世尊即於僧伽中。就座而坐。(18)佛告諸苾芻。夜分已過。何不隨意。時有苾芻。(19)於其衆中。從座而起。正衣一邊。合掌頂禮已。(20)白言。於某房有舊住苾芻。身嬰重病。極爲困(21)苦。其病苾芻不能赴集。不知云何。佛言。應取(22)隨意欲來。諸苾芻不知云何取欲來。佛言。或(23)一人取一人欲。或二或三。乃至衆多。 
Pravāraṇā of a sick monk 
pravāraṇādāyakasyāhaṃ bhikṣava bhikṣor āsamudācārikān dharmān prajñapayiṣyāmi. pravāraṇādāyakena bhikṣuṇaikāṃsam uttarāsaṅgaṃ kṛtvā upānahāv avamucya yathāvṛddhikayā sāmīcīṃ kṛtvotkuṭukena niṣadyāñjaliṃ praṇamyedaṃ syād vacanīyam. samanvāharāyuṣmann adya saṃghasya pravāraṇā pāñcadaśikā. mamāpy evaṃnāmno bhikṣoḥ pravāraṇā pāñcadaśikā. so ’ham evaṃnāmā bhikṣuḥ pariśuddham antarāyikair dharmair ātmānaṃ vadāmi. pravāraṇāyāṃ me pāriśuddhim ārocayāmy. ārocitāṃ ca pravedayāmi. evaṃ dvir apy evaṃ trir api.

不知云(24)何取來。佛言。應到病苾芻邊蹲踞合掌具威(25)儀已如長淨法與其欲。作如是説。具壽存念。(26)今僧伽十五日。作隨意。我苾芻某甲。亦十五(27)日作隨意。我苾芻某甲。自陳無諸障法。爲病(28)患因縁故。彼如法僧事。我今與欲。此所陳事。(29)當爲我説。第二第三亦如是説。 
pravāraṇādāyako bhikṣuḥ sacet kāyavijñaptyā pravāraṇāṃ dadāti dattā pravāraṇā vaktavyā. vāgvijñaptyā dadāti dattā pravāraṇā vaktavyā. kāyavijñaptyā ca vāgvijñaptyā ca dadāti dattā pravāraṇā vaktavyā. na kāyavijñaptyā na vāgvijñaptyā dadāti sarvasaṃghena vā tatra gantavyaṃ sa vā bhikṣuḥ saṃghamadhye ’vatārayitavyaḥ. na sarvasaṃghas tatra gacchati taṃ ca bhikṣuṃ saṃghe nāvatārayiṣyanti vyagrāḥ kurvanti sātisārā bhavanti. pravāraṇādāyako bhikṣur yathāprajñaptān āsamudācārikān dharmān na samādāya vartate sātisāro bhavati.

若能如是與(1046a1)欲者善。若不能語。以身表業。亦成與欲。若不(2)能語。復不能以身表者。一切僧伽。並皆應往(3)就病人所。若病人不來。衆不往彼作隨意者。(4)作法不成。得越法罪 
pravāraṇāgrāhakasyāhaṃ bhikṣava bhikṣor āsamudācārikān dharmān prajñapayiṣyāmi. pravāraṇāgrāhakena bhikṣuṇā pravāraṇāṃ gṛhītvā na dhāvitavyaṃ na dravitavyaṃ na laṅghayitavyaṃ na parikhā laṅghayitavyā na pariṣaṇḍā laṅghayitavyā noparivihāyasā sthātavyaṃ na bahiḥsīmāṃ gantavyaṃ naikena pādena dvau niśreṇapadakāv abhiruhitavyau naikena pādena dvau sopānakaḍevarāv abhiruhitavyau na svapitavyaṃ na samāpattavyam. svapiti samāpadyate dvābhyāṃ kāraṇābhyāṃ garhyo bhavati yac cālajjitvena yac ca vaitarikatvena. 
ṅas dgag dbye (3) len pa’i dge sloṅ gi kun tu spyod pa’i chos bca’ bar bya ste | dgag dbye len pa’i dge sloṅ gis dgag dbye blaṅs nas brgyug par mi bya | mgyogs par mi bya | mchoṅ par mi bya | phyi rol du mchoṅ bar mi bya | ’obs la mchoṅ par mi bya | baṅ rim la mchoṅ par (4) mi bya | steṅ gi nam mkha’ la ’dug par mi bya | mtshams kyi phyi rol du ’gro bar mi bya | gom pa gcig gis skas kyi gdaṅ bu gñis la ’jog par mi bya | gom pa gcig gis skas kyi rim pa gñis la gzeg par mi bya | gñid log par mi bya | sñoms par (5) ’jug par mi bya’o || gñid log gam | sñoms par źugs na rgyu gñis kyis smad par ’gyur te | ṅo tsha med pa gaṅ yin pa daṅ | khyad du bsad pa gaṅ yin pa’o || 
(5)佛言。我今爲受隨意欲苾芻。所有行法。今當(6)説之。其受欲苾芻。不得急走等。乃至如長淨(7)法中廣説。 
yadā saṃghasthaviraḥ kathayaty anāgamanāyāyuṣmantaś chandaṃ ca pāriśuddhiṃ cārocayata, ārocitāṃ ca pravedayateti, tenāntarikasya bhikṣoḥ purataḥ sthitvā vaktavyam. samanvāharāyuṣmann amuṣminn āvāse bhikṣur ābādhiko duḥkhito bāḍhaglānaḥ. adya saṃghasya pravāraṇā pāñcadaśikā. (69r = GMB 6.1054)  tasyāpi bhikṣoḥ pravāraṇā pāñcadaśikā. so ’yam evaṃnāmā bhikṣus (152) tribhiḥ sthānaiḥ pravārayati dṛṣṭena śrutena pariśaṅkayā. pravāraṇe ’sya chandaṃ ca pravāraṇāṃ cārocayāmi. ārocitāṃ ca pravedayāmi. pravāraṇāgrāhako bhikṣur āsamudācārikān dharmān na samādāya vartate sātisāro bhavati. 
gaṅ gi tshe dge ’dun gyi gnas brtan gyis tshe daṅ ldan pa dag ma lhags pa rnams kyi ’dun pa daṅ yoṅs (6) su dag pa brjod cig | brjod pa yaṅ rig par gyis śig ces smras pa na | des dge sloṅ druṅ na ’dug pa’i ’dun du ’dug ste | tshe daṅ ldan pa dgoṅs su gsol | gnas ga ge mo źig na dge sloṅ bro ’tshal ba | sdug bsṅal ba | bro tshabs che bźig gnas te | deṅ (7) dge ’dun gyi dgag dbye bco lṅa pa lags la |  dge sloṅ de’i yaṅ dgag dbye bco lṅa pa lags te | dge sloṅ miṅ ’di źes bgyi ba de dge ’dun btsun pa rnams la mthoṅ ba daṅ | thos pa daṅ | dogs pa’i gnas gsum gyis dgag dbye bgyid de | dgag dbye brjod (226a1) do|| brjod pa yaṅ rig par bgyid do źes smros śig | dgag dbye len pa’i dge sloṅ gis kun tu spyod pa’i chos ji ltar baca pa bźin yaṅ dag par blaṅs te ’jug par mi byed na ’gal tshabs can du ’gyur ro || 
其持欲淨苾芻。既入衆中。或上座(8)邊説。此若不能。比座邊説亦得。應如是説。具(9)壽存念。於某處房。苾芻某甲。身嬰病苦。今僧(10)伽十五日作隨意。彼苾芻某甲。亦十五日作(11)隨意。彼苾芻某甲。自陳無諸障法。爲病患因(12)縁。如法僧事與欲。彼所陳事。我今具説如上(13)所説。若不依者。得越法罪。   
āyuṣmān upālī buddhaṃ bhagavantaṃ pṛcchati. pravāraṇāgrāhakas tāvad bhadanta bhikṣuḥ pravāraṇāṃ gṛhītvā tatraivocchidya kālaṃ kuryāt. ānītā pravāraṇā vaktavyā anānītā. anānītopālin. punar apy ānayitavyā. pravāraṇāgrāhakas tāvad bhadanta bhikṣuḥ pravāraṇāṃ gṛhītvā saṃghamadhye prāptaḥ kālaṃ kuryāt. ānītā pravāraṇā vaktavyā anānītā. anānītopālin. punar apy ānayitavyā. 
saṅs rgyas bcom ldan ’das (2) la tshe daṅ ldan pa ñe ba ’khor gyis źus pa | btsun pa re źig dgag dbye len pa’i dge sloṅ gis dgag dbye blaṅs nas de ñid du gum na dgag dbye blaṅs pa źes bgyi’am | ma blaṅs pa źis bgyi | ñe ba ’khor ma blaṅs ba źes bya ste | yaṅ blaṅ bar bya’o || 
āgārikatvaṃ pratijānāti. śramaṇoddeśakatvaṃ ṣaṇḍhakatvaṃ paṇḍakatvaṃ bhikṣuṇīdūṣakatvaṃ mātṛghātakatvaṃ pitṛghātakatvam arhadghātakatvaṃ saṃghabhedakatvaṃ tathāgatasyāntike duṣṭacittarudhirotpādakatvaṃ tīrthikatvaṃ tīrthikāvakrāntakatvaṃ steyāsaṃvāsikatvaṃ nānāsaṃvāsikatvam asaṃvāsikatvaṃ pratijānāti. ānītā pravāraṇā vaktavyā anānītā | anānītā upāliṃ | punar apy ānayitavyā.
