თავი მეოთხე

Ἰησοῦς δὲ πλήρης Πνεύματος Ἁγίου ὑπέστρεψεν ἀπὸ τοῦ Ἰορδάνου, καὶ ἤγετο ἐν τῷ Πνεύματι εἰς τὴν ἔρημον

Iesus autem plenus Spiritu Sancto regressus est ab Iordane et agebatur in Spiritu in deserto

1 ხოლო იესუ, სავსე სულითა წმიდითა მოიქცა იორდანით, და მოჰყვანდა სულსა უდაბნოდ.

1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

ἡμέρας τεσσαράκοντα πειραζόμενος ὑπὸ τοῦ διαβόλου, καὶ οὐκ ἔφαγεν οὐδὲν ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις· καὶ συντελεσθεισῶν αὐτῶν ὕστερον ἐπείνασε.

diebus quadraginta et tentabatur a Diabolo. Et nihil manducavit in diebus illis et, consummatis illis, esuriit.

2 და ორმეოც დღე გამოიცადებოდა ეშმაკისაგან და არარაჲ ჭამა მათ დღეთა შინა. და აღ-რაჲ-ესრულნეს დღენი იგი, შეემშია.

2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ διάβολος· εἰ υἱὸς εἶ τοῦ Θεοῦ, εἰπὲ τῷ λίθῳ τούτῳ ἵνα γένηται ἄρτος.

Dixit autem illi Diabolus: “Si Filius Dei es, dic lapidi huic, ut panis fiat”.

3 და ჰრქუა მას ეშმაკმან მან: უკუეთუ ძე ხარ ღმრთისაჲ, არქუ ქვათა ამათ, რაჲთა იქმნენ პურ.

3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

καὶ ἀπεκρίθη ὁ Ἰησοῦς πρὸς αὐτὸν λέγων· γέγραπται ὅτι οὐκ ἐπ᾿ ἄρτῳ μόνῳ ζήσεται ἄνθρωπος, ἀλλ᾿ ἐπὶ παντὶ ρήματι ἐκπορευομένῳ διὰ στόματος Θεοῦ.

Et respondit ad illum Iesus: “Scriptum est: “Non in pane solo vivet homo””.

4 მიუგო იესუ და ჰრქუა მას: წერილ არს: არა პურითა ხოლო ცხოვნდების კაცი, არამედ ყოვლითა სიტყჳთა ღმრთისაჲთა.

4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

καὶ ἀναγαγὼν αὐτὸν ὁ διάβολος εἰς ὄρος ὑψηλὸν ἔδειξεν αὐτῷ πάσας τὰς βασιλείας τῆς οἰκουμένης ἐν στιγμῇ χρόνου,

Et sustulit illum et ostendit illi omnia regna orbis terrae in momento temporis;

5 და აღიყვანა იგი მთასა მაღალსა და უჩუენნა მას ყოველნი სუფევანი სოფლისანი გამოხატვითა ჟამთაჲთა.

5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ διάβολος· σοὶ δώσω τὴν ἐξουσίαν ταύτην ἅπασαν καὶ τὴν δόξαν αὐτῶν, ὅτι ἐμοὶ παραδέδοται, καὶ ᾧ ἐὰν θέλω δίδωμι αὐτήν.

et ait ei Diabolus: “Tibi dabo potestatem hanc universam et gloriam illorum, quia mihi tradita est, et, cui volo, do illam:

6 და ჰრქუა მას ეშმაკმან მან: შენ მიგცე ამის ყოვლისა ჴელმწიფებაჲ და დიდებაჲ მათი, რამეთუ ჩემდა მოცემულ არს, და რომლისა მინდეს, მივსცე იგი;

6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

σὺ οὖν ἐὰν προσκυνήσῃς ἐνώπιόν μου, ἔσται σου πᾶσα.

tu ergo, si adoraveris coram me, erit tua omnis”.

7 უკუეთუ შენ თაყუანის-მცე ჩემ წინაშე, იყოს შენდა ესე ყოველი.

7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς αὐτῷ εἶπεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς· ὕπαγε ὀπίσω μου, σατανᾶ· γέγραπται γάρ, Κύριον τὸν Θεόν σου προσκυνήσεις καὶ αὐτῷ μόνῳ λατρεύσεις.

Et respondens Iesus dixit illi: “Scriptum est: “Dominum Deum tuum adorabis et illi soli servies””.

8 მიუგო იესუ და ჰრქუა მას: წარვედ მართლუკუნ ჩემგან, ეშმაკო; წერილ არს: უფალსა ღმერთსა შენსა თაყუანის-სცე და მას მხოლოსა ჰმსახურებდე.

8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

καὶ ἤγαγεν αὐτὸν εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα, καὶ ἔστησεν αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τὸ πτερύγιον τοῦ ἱεροῦ καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ· εἰ υἱὸς εἶ τοῦ Θεοῦ, βάλε σεαυτὸν ἐντεῦθεν κάτω·

Duxit autem illum in Ierusalem et statuit eum supra pinnam templi et dixit illi: “Si Filius Dei es, mitte te hinc deorsum.

9 და მოიყვანა იგი იერუსალჱმდ და დაადგინა იგი ფრთესა მას ზედა მის ტაძრისასა და ჰრქუა მას: უკუეთუ ძე ხარ ღმრთისაჲ, გარდაიგდე თავი შენი ამიერ ქუეყანად,

9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:

γέγραπται γὰρ ὅτι τοῖς ἀγγέλοις αὐτοῦ ἐντελεῖται περὶ σοῦ τοῦ διαφυλάξαι σε,

Scriptum est enim: “Angelis suis mandabit de te, ut conservent te”

10 რამეთუ წერილ არს, ვითარმედ: ანგელოზთა მისთადა უბრძანებიეს შენთჳს დაცვად შენდა.

10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

καὶ ὅτι ἐπὶ χειρῶν ἀροῦσί σε, μήποτε προσκόψῃς πρὸς λίθον τὸν πόδα σου.

et: “In manibus tollent te, ne forte offendas ad lapidem pedem tuum””.

11 ჴელთა მათთა ზედა აღგიპყრან შენ, ნუსადა წარსცე ქვასა ფერჴი შენი.

11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς ὅτι εἴρηται, οὐκ ἐκπειράσεις Κύριον τὸν Θεόν σου.

Et respondens Iesus ait illi: “Dictum est: “Non tentabis Dominum Deum tuum””.

12 მიუგო იესუ და ჰრქუა მას, რამეთუ: თქმულ არს: არა განსცადო უფალი ღმერთი შენი.

12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

καὶ συντελέσας πάντα πειρασμὸν ὁ διάβολος ἀπέστη ἀπ᾿ αὐτοῦ ἄχρι καιροῦ.

Et consummata omni tentatione, Diabolus recessit ab illo usque ad tempus.

13 და აღასრულნა ყოველნი განსაცდელნი ეშმაკმან მან და განეშორა მას ვიდრე ჟამადმდე.

13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

Καὶ ὑπέστρεψεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἐν τῇ δυνάμει τοῦ Πνεύματος εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν· καὶ φήμη ἐξῆλθε καθ᾿ ὅλης τῆς περιχώρου περὶ αὐτοῦ

Et regressus est Iesus in virtute Spiritus in Galilaeam. Et fama exiit per universam regionem de illo.

14 და მოიქცა იესუ ძალითა სულისა წმიდისაჲთა გალილეად; და ჰამბავი განჴდა მისთჳს ყოველსა მას გარემო სოფლებსა.

14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

καὶ αὐτὸς ἐδίδασκεν ἐν ταῖς συναγωγαῖς αὐτῶν δοξαζόμενος ὑπὸ πάντων.

Et ipse docebat in synagogis eorum et magnificabatur ab omnibus.

15 და იგი თავადი ასწავებდა შესაკრებელთა მათთა და იდიდებოდა ყოველთაგან.

15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

καὶ ἦλθεν εἰς τὴν Ναζαρέτ, οὗ ἦν τεθραμμένος, καὶ εἰσῆλθε κατὰ τὸ εἰωθὸς αὐτῷ ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῶν σαββάτων εἰς τὴν συναγωγήν, καὶ ἀνέστη ἀναγνῶναι.

Et venit Nazareth, ubi erat nutritus, et intravit secundum consuetudinem suam die sabbati in synagogam et surrexit legere.

16 და მოვიდა ნაზარეთად, სადაცა აღზრდილ იყო, და შევიდა, ვითარცა ჩუეულ იყო იგი, დღესა შაბათსა შესაკრებელსა მათსა, და მოსცეს მას წიგნი ესაია წინაწარმეტყუელისაჲ.

16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

καὶ ἐπεδόθη αὐτῷ βιβλίον Ἡσαΐου τοῦ προφήτου, καὶ ἀναπτύξας τὸ βιβλίον εὗρε τὸν τόπον οὗ ἦν γεγραμμένον·

Et tradi tus est illi liber prophetae Isaiae; et ut revolvit librum, invenit locum, ubi scriptum erat:

17 და აღდგა კითხვად და განყო წიგნი იგი და პოვა ადგილი, რომელსა წერილ იყო:

17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

Πνεῦμα Κυρίου ἐπ᾿ ἐμέ, οὗ εἵνεκεν ἔχρισέ με, εὐαγγελίσασθαι πτωχοῖς ἀπέσταλκέ με, ἰάσασθαι τοὺς συντετριμμένους τὴν καρδίαν,

“Spiritus Domini super me; propter quod unxit me evangelizare pauperibus, misit me praedicare captivis remissionem et caecis visum, dimittere confractos in remissione,

18 სული უფლისაჲ ჩემ ზედა, რომლისათჳს მცხო მე მახარებელად გლახაკთა, მომავლინა მე განკურნებად შემუსრვილთა გულითა, ქადაგებად ტყუეთა განტევებისა და ბრმათა ახილვად, განვლინებად მომსრვალთა განტევებითა,

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

κηρῦξαι αἰχμαλώτοις ἄφεσιν καὶ τυφλοῖς ἀνάβλεψιν, ἀποστεῖλαι τεθραυσμένους ἐν ἀφέσει, κηρῦξαι ἐνιαυτὸν Κυρίου δεκτόν.

praedicare annum Domini acceptum”.

19 და ქადაგებად წელიწადი უფლისაჲ შეწყნარებული.

19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

καὶ πτύξας τὸ βιβλίον ἀποδοὺς τῷ ὑπηρέτῃ ἐκάθισε· καὶ πάντων ἐν τῇ συναγωγῇ οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ ἦσαν ἀτενίζοντες αὐτῷ.

Et cum plicuisset librum, reddidit ministro et sedit; et omnium in synagoga oculi erant intendentes in eum.

20 და შეყო წიგნი იგი და მისცა მსახურსა და დაჯდა; და თუალნი ყოვლისა კრებულისანი მას ხედვიდეს.

20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

ἤρξατο δὲ λέγειν πρὸς αὐτοὺς ὅτι σήμερον πεπλήρωται ἡ γραφὴ αὕτη ἐν τοῖς ὠσὶν ὑμῶν.

Coepit autem dicere ad illos: “Hodie impleta est haec Scriptura in auribus vestris”.

21 და იწყო სიტყუად მათა, ვითარმედ: დღეს აღესრულა წერილი ესე ყურთა მომართ თქუენთა.

21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

καὶ πάντες ἐμαρτύρουν αὐτῷ καὶ ἐθαύμαζον ἐπὶ τοῖς λόγοις τῆς χάριτος τοῖς ἐκπορευομένοις ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔλεγον· οὐχ οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ υἱὸς Ἰωσήφ;

Et omnes testimonium illi dabant et mirabantur in verbis gratiae, quae procedebant de ore ipsius, et dicebant: “Nonne hic filius est Ioseph?”.

22 და ყოველნი ეწამებოდეს მას და უკჳრდა სიტყუათა ამათ ზედა მისთა მადლისათა, რომელნი გამოვიდოდეს პირისაგან მისისა, და იტყოდეს: ანუ არა ესე არსა ძე იოსებისი?

22 And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?

καὶ εἶπε πρὸς αὐτούς· πάντως ἐρεῖτέ μοι τὴν παραβολὴν ταύτην· ἰατρέ, θεράπευσον σεαυτόν· ὅσα ἠκούσαμεν γενόμενα ἐν τῇ Καπερναούμ, ποίησον καὶ ὧδε ἐν τῇ πατρίδι σου.

Et ait illis: “Utique dicetis mihi hanc similitudinem: “Medice, cura teipsum; quanta audivimus facta in Capharnaum, fac et hic in patria tua””.

23 და თავადმან ჰრქუა მათ: მრქუათ სამე იგავი ესე: მკურნალო, განიკურნე თავი შენი. და ჰრქუეს მას: რაოდენი გუესმა საქმე კაპერნაუმს, ქმენ აქაცა, მამულსა შენსა.

23 And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.

εἶπε δέ· ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι οὐδεὶς προφήτης δεκτός ἐστιν ἐν τῇ πατρίδι αὐτοῦ.

Ait autem: “Amen dico vobis: Nemo propheta acceptus est in patria sua.

24 ხოლო თავადმან ჰრქუა მათ: ამენ გეტყჳ თქუენ, რამეთუ არავინ წინაწარმეტყუელი შეწყნარებულ არს თჳსსა მამულსა.

24 And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.

ἐπ᾿ ἀληθείας δὲ λέγω ὑμῖν, πολλαὶ χῆραι ἦσαν ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις Ἠλιοὺ ἐν τῷ Ἰσραήλ, ὅτε ἐκλείσθη ὁ οὐρανὸς ἐπὶ ἔτη τρία καὶ μῆνας ἕξ, ὡς ἐγένετο λιμὸς μέγας ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν,

In veritate autem dico vobis: Multae viduae erant in diebus Eliae in Israel, quando clausum est caelum annis tribus et mensibus sex, cum facta est fames magna in omni terra;

25 ხოლო ჭეშმარიტად გეტყჳ თქუენ, რამეთუ მრავალნი ქურივნი იყვნეს დღეთა მათ ელიაჲსთა ისრაჱლსა შორის, ოდეს-იგი დაეჴშა ცაჲ სამ წელ და ექუს თუე, რაჟამს-იგი იყო სიყმილი დიდი ყოველსა ქუეყანასა.

25 But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

καὶ πρὸς οὐδεμίαν αὐτῶν ἐπέμφθη Ἠλίας εἰ μὴ εἰς Σάρεπτα τῆς Σιδωνίας πρὸς γυναῖκα χήραν.

et ad nullam illarum missus est Elias nisi in Sarepta Sidoniae ad mulierem viduam.

26 და არავისა მათგანისა მიივლინა ელია, გარნა სარეფთად სიდონისა, დედაკაცისა ქურივისა.

26 But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.

καὶ πολλοὶ λεπροὶ ἦσαν ἐπὶ Ἐλισαίου τοῦ προφήτου ἐν τῷ Ἰσραήλ, καὶ οὐδεὶς αὐτῶν ἐκαθαρίσθη εἰ μὴ Νεεμὰν ὁ Σύρος.

Et multi leprosi erant in Israel sub Eliseo propheta; et nemo eorum mundatus est nisi Naaman Syrus”.

27 და მრავალნი კეთროვანნი იყვნეს ისრაჱლსა შორის ელისეს ზე, წინაწარმეტყუელისა, და არავინ მათგანი განიკურნა, გარნა ნემან ასური.

27 And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

καὶ ἐπλήσθησαν πάντες θυμοῦ ἐν τῇ συναγωγῇ ἀκούοντες ταῦτα,

Et repleti sunt omnes in synagoga ira haec audientes;

28 და აღივსნეს ყოველნი გულის-წყრომითა, რომელნი-იგი იყვნეს შესაკრებელსა მას შინა, ესმოდა რაჲ ესე.

28 And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,

καὶ ἀναστάντες ἐξέβαλον αὐτὸν ἔξω τῆς πόλεως καὶ ἤγαγον αὐτὸν ἕως ὀφρύος τοῦ ὄρους, ἐφ᾿ οὗ ἡ πόλις αὐτῶν ᾠκοδόμητο, εἰς τὸ κατακρημνίσαι αὐτόν.

et surrexerunt et eiecerunt illum extra civitatem et duxerunt illum usque ad supercilium montis, supra quem civitas illorum erat aedificata, ut praecipitarent eum.

29 და აღდგეს და განაძეს იგი გარეშე ქალაქისა მისგან და მოიყვანეს იგი ვიდრე წუერადმდე მის მთისა, რომელსა ზედა ქალაქი იგი მათი დაშენებულ იყო, რაჲთა გარდააგდონ იგი.

29 And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.

αὐτὸς δὲ διελθὼν διὰ μέσου αὐτῶν ἐπορεύετο.

Ipse autem transiens per medium illorum ibat.

30 ხოლო თავადმან განვლო შორის მათსა და წარვიდა.

30 But he passing through the midst of them went his way,

Καὶ κατῆλθεν εἰς Καπερναοὺμ πόλιν τῆς Γαλιλαίας, καὶ ἦν διδάσκων αὐτοὺς ἐν τοῖς σάββασι·

Et descendit in Capharnaum civitatem Galilaeae. Et docebat illos sabbatis;

31 და შთავიდა კაპერნაუმდ, ქალაქსა გალილეაჲსასა, და ასწავებდა მათ შაბათსა შინა.

31 And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.

καὶ ἐξεπλήσσοντο ἐπὶ τῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦ, ὅτι ἐν ἐξουσίᾳ ἦν ὁ λόγος αὐτοῦ.

et stupebant in doctrina eius, quia in potestate erat sermo ipsius.

32 და უკჳრდა მოძღურებაჲ იგი მისი, რამეთუ ჴელმწიფებით იყო სიტყუაჲ იგი მისი.

32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

Καὶ ἐν τῇ συναγωγῇ ἦν ἄνθρωπος ἔχων πνεῦμα δαιμονίου ἀκαθάρτου, καὶ ἀνέκραξε φωνῇ μεγάλῃ

Et in synagoga erat homo habens spiritum daemonii immundi; et exclamavit voce magna:

33 და იყო შესაკრებელსა მათსა კაცი, რომლისა თანა იყო სული არაწმიდაჲ, და ღაღატ-ყო ჴმითა დიდითა:

33 And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

λέγων· ἔα, τί ἡμῖν καὶ σοί, Ἰησοῦ Ναζαρηνέ; ἦλθες ἀπολέσαι ἡμᾶς; οἶδά σε τίς εἶ, ὁ ἅγιος τοῦ Θεοῦ.

“Sine; quid nobis et tibi, Iesu Nazarene? Venisti perdere nos? Scio te qui sis: Sanctus Dei”.

34 ეჰა, რაჲ არს ჩუენი და შენი, იესუ ნაზარეველო? მოხუედ წარწყმედად ჩუენდა: გიცი შენ, ვინ ხარ, წმიდაჲ ეგე ღმრთისაჲ.

34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.

καὶ ἐπετίμησεν αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς λέγων· φιμώθητι καὶ ἔξελθε ἐξ αὐτοῦ. καὶ ρῖψαν αὐτὸν τὸ δαιμόνιον εἰς τὸ μέσον ἐξῆλθεν ἀπ᾿ αὐτοῦ, μηδὲν βλάψαν αὐτόν.

Et increpavit illi Iesus dicens: “Obmutesce et exi ab illo!”. Et cum proiecisset illum daemonium in medium, exiit ab illo nihilque illum nocuit.

35 და შეჰრისხნა მას იესუ და ჰრქუა: პირი დაიყავ და განვედ მაგისგან! და დასცა იგი შორის მათსა ეშმაკმან მან და განვიდა მისგან და არაჲ ავნო მას.

35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

καὶ ἐγένετο θάμβος ἐπὶ πάντας, καὶ συνελάλουν πρὸς ἀλλήλους λέγοντες· τίς ὁ λόγος οὗτος, ὅτι ἐν ἐξουσίᾳ καὶ δυνάμει ἐπιτάσσει τοῖς ἀκαθάρτοις πνεύμασι, καὶ ἐξέρχονται;

Et factus est pavor in omnibus; et colloquebantur ad invicem dicentes: “Quod est hoc verbum, quia in potestate et virtute imperat immundis spiritibus, et exeunt?”.

36 და იყო განკჳრვებაჲ მათ ყოველთა ზედა და ზრახვიდეს ურთიერთას და იტყოდეს: რაჲ არს სიტყუაჲ ესე, რამეთუ ჴელმწიფებითა და ძალითა უბრძანებს სულთა არაწმიდათა, და განვლენ?

36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

καὶ ἐξεπορεύετο ἦχος περὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς πάντα τόπον τῆς περιχώρου.

Et divulgabatur fama de illo in omnem locum regionis.

37 და მიმოეფინებოდა ჰამბავი მისთჳს ყოველთა მათ ადგილთა გარემო მის სოფლებისათა.

37 And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.

Ἀναστὰς δὲ ἐκ τῆς συναγωγῆς εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν Σίμωνος. πενθερὰ δὲ τοῦ Σίμωνος ἦν συνεχομένη πυρετῷ μεγάλῳ, καὶ ἠρώτησαν αὐτὸν περὶ αὐτῆς.

Surgens autem de synagoga introivit in domum Simonis. Socrus autem Simonis tenebatur magna febri; et rogaverunt illum pro ea.

38 და აღდგა მის კრებულისაგან და შევიდა სახლსა სიმონისსა; ხოლო სიდედრი სიმონისი შეპყრობილ იყო სიცხითა დიდითა. და უთხრეს მას მისთჳს.

38 And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.

καὶ ἐπιστὰς ἐπάνω αὐτῆς ἐπετίμησε τῷ πυρετῷ, καὶ ἀφῆκεν αὐτήν· παραχρῆμα δὲ ἀναστᾶσα διηκόνει αὐτοῖς.

Et stans super illam imperavit febri, et dimisit illam; et continuo surgens ministrabat illis.

39 და დაადგა მას ზედა და შეჰრისხნა სიცხესა მას. და მეყსეულად დაუტევა იგი, და აღდგა და ჰმსახურებდა მათ.

39 And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

Δύνοντος δὲ τοῦ ἡλίου πάντες ὅσοι εἶχον ἀσθενοῦντας νόσοις ποικίλαις ἤγαγον αὐτοὺς πρὸς αὐτόν· ὁ δὲ ἑνὶ ἑκάστῳ αὐτῶν τὰς χεῖρας ἐπιτιθεὶς ἐθεράπευσεν αὐτούς.

Cum sol autem occidisset, omnes, qui habebant infirmos variis languoribus, ducebant illos ad eum; at ille singulis manus imponens curabat eos.

40 და დასვლასა ოდენ მზისასა ყოველთა რაოდენთა აქუნდა უძლურები თითო-სახეთაგან სენთა, მოიყვანნეს მისა. ხოლო თავადმან კაცად-კაცადსა მათსა დასდვა ჴელი და განკურნნა იგინი.

40 Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

ἐξήρχετο δὲ καὶ δαιμόνια ἀπὸ πολλῶν κραυγάζοντα καὶ λέγοντα ὅτι σὺ εἶ ὁ Χριστὸς ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ Θεοῦ. καὶ ἐπιτιμῶν οὐκ εἴα αὐτὰ λαλεῖν, ὅτι ᾔδεισαν τὸν Χριστὸν αὐτὸν εἶναι.

Exibant autem daemonia a multis clamantia et dicentia: “Tu es Filius Dei”. Et increpans non sinebat ea loqui, quia sciebant ipsum esse Christum.

41 და განვიდოდეს ეშმაკნი მრავალთაგან, ღაღადებდეს და იტყოდეს, ვითარმედ: შენ ხარ ქრისტე, ძე ღმრთისა ცხოველისაჲ. და არა უტევებდა მათ სიტყუად, რამეთუ იცოდეს, ვითარმედ იგი არს ქრისტე.

41 And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.

γενομένης δὲ ἡμέρας ἐξελθὼν ἐπορεύθη εἰς ἔρημον τόπον· καὶ οἱ ὄχλοι ἐπεζήτουν αὐτόν, καὶ ἦλθον ἕως αὐτοῦ καὶ κατεῖχον αὐτὸν τοῦ μὴ πορεύεσθαι ἀπ᾿ αὐτῶν.

Facta autem die, egressus ibat in desertum locum; et turbae requirebant eum et venerunt usque ad ipsum et detinebant illum, ne discederet ab eis.

42 და ვითარცა განთენა, გამოვიდა მიერ და წარვიდა უდაბნოსა ადგილსა, და ერი იგი ეძიებდა მას და მოვიდეს მისა და აყენებდეს მას, რაჲთამცა არა წარვიდა მათგან.

42 And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them.

ὁ δὲ εἶπε πρὸς αὐτοὺς ὅτι καὶ ταῖς ἑτέραις πόλεσιν εὐαγγελίσασθαί με δεῖ τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ Θεοῦ· ὅτι εἰς τοῦτο ἀπέσταλμαι.

Quibus ille ait: “Et aliis civitatibus oportet me evangelizare regnum Dei, quia ideo missus sum”.

43 ხოლო თავადმან ჰრქუა მათ, ვითარმედ: სხუათაცა ქალაქთა ჯერ-არს ჩემდა ხარებად სასუფეველი ღმრთისაჲ, რამეთუ ამისთჳს მოვივლინე.

43 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

καὶ ἦν κηρύσσων εἰς τὰς συναγωγὰς τῆς Γαλιλαίας.

Et erat praedicans in synagogis Iudaeae.

44 და ქადაგებდა ყოველთა შესაკრებელთა გალილეაჲსათა.

44 And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.
