Coeperunt autem accusare illum dicentes: “Hunc invenimus subvertentem gentem nostram et prohibentem tributa dare Caesari et dicentem se Christum regem esse”.

2 და იწყეს შესმენად მისა და იტყოდეს: ესე ვპოეთ, რამეთუ გარდააქცევდა ნათესავსა ჩუენსა და აყენებდა ხარკსაცა მიცემად კეისრისა და იტყოდა თავსა თჳსსა ქრისტედ და მეუფე ყოფად.

2 And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.

ὁ δὲ Πιλᾶτος ἐπηρώτησεν αὐτὸν λέγων· σὺ εἶ ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων; ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς αὐτῷ ἔφη· σὺ λέγεις.

Pilatus autem interrogavit eum dicens: “Tu es rex Iudaeorum?”. At ille respondens ait: “Tu dicis”.

3 და ჰკითხა მას პილატე და ჰრქუა: შენ ხარა მეუფე ჰურიათაჲ? ხოლო თავადმან ჰრქუა მას: შენ იტყჳ.

3 And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it.

ὁ δὲ Πιλᾶτος εἶπε πρὸς τοὺς ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ τοὺς ὄχλους ὅτι οὐδὲν εὑρίσκω αἴτιον ἐν τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ τούτῳ.

Ait autem Pilatus ad principes sacerdotum et turbas: “Nihil invenio causae in hoc homine”.

4 ხოლო პილატე ჰრქუა მღდელთ-მოძღუართა და ერსა მას: არარას ბრალსა ვჰპოებ კაცისა ამის თანა.

4 Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.

οἱ δὲ ἐπίσχυον λέγοντες ὅτι ἀνασείει τὸν λαὸν διδάσκων καθ᾿ ὅλης τῆς Ἰουδαίας, ἀρξάμενος ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας ἕως ὧδε.

At illi invalescebant dicentes: “Commovet populum docens per universam Iudaeam et in cipiens a Galilaea usque huc!”.

5 ხოლო იგინი უფროჲს განძლიერდებოდეს და იტყოდეს, ვითარმედ: აღაშფოთებს ერსა და ასწავებს ყოველსა ჰურიასტანსა, უწყიეს გალილეაჲთ ვიდრე აქამომდე.

5 And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.

Πιλᾶτος δὲ ἀκούσας Γαλιλαίαν ἐπηρώτησεν εἰ ὁ ἄνθρωπος Γαλιλαῖός ἐστι,

Pilatus autem audiens interrogavit si homo Galilaeus esset;

6 ხოლო პილატეს რაჲ ესმა გალილეაჲ, ჰკითხა მათ: უკუეთუ გალილეაჲთ არს კაცი ესე?

6 When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.

καὶ ἐπιγνοὺς ὅτι ἐκ τῆς ἐξουσίας Ἡρῴδου ἐστίν, ἀνέπεμψεν αὐτὸν πρὸς Ἡρῴδην, ὄντα καὶ αὐτὸν ἐν Ἱεροσολύμοις ἐν ταύταις ταῖς ἡμέραις.

et ut cognovit quod de Herodis potestate esset, remisit eum ad Herodem, qui et ipse Hierosolymis erat illis diebus.

7 და გულისჴმა-ყო, რამეთუ ჴელმწიფებისაგან ჰეროდესისა არს; მიუძღუანა იგი ჰეროდეს, რამეთუ იყო იგიცა მაშინ იერუსალჱმს მათ დღეთა შინა.

7 And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.

ὁ δὲ Ἡρῴδης ἰδὼν τὸν Ἰησοῦν ἐχάρη λίαν· ἦν γὰρ ἐξ ἱκανοῦ θέλων ἰδεῖν αὐτὸν διὰ τὸ ἀκούειν αὐτὸν πολλὰ περὶ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἤλπιζέ τι σημεῖον ἰδεῖν ὑπ᾿ αὐτοῦ γινόμενον.

Herodes autem, viso Iesu, gavisus est valde; erat enim cupiens ex multo tempore videre eum, eo quod audiret de illo et sperabat signum aliquod videre ab eo fieri.

8 ხოლო ჰეროდე ვითარცა იხილა იესუ, განიხარა ფრიად, რამეთუ უნდა მისი ხილვაჲ მრავლით ჟამითგან ამისთჳს, რამეთუ ესმოდა მისთჳს და სწადოდა ხილვად რაჲსამე სასწაულისა ყოფასა მისგან.

8 And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.

ἐπηρώτα δὲ αὐτὸν ἐν λόγοις ἱκανοῖς· αὐτὸς δὲ οὐδὲν ἀπεκρίνατο αὐτῷ.

Interrogabat autem illum multis sermonibus; at ipse nihil illi respondebat.

9 და ჰკითხვიდა მას სიტყჳთა მრავლითა, ხოლო თავადმან არარაჲ მიუგო მას.

9 Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing.

εἱστήκεισαν δὲ οἱ γραμματεῖς καὶ οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς εὐτόνως κατηγοροῦντες αὐτοῦ.

Stabant etiam principes sacerdotum et scribae constanter accusantes eum.

10 დგეს მღდელთ-მოძღუარნი იგი და მწიგნობარნი და განკრძალულად შეასმენდეს მას.

10 And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.

ἐξουθενήσας δὲ αὐτὸν ὁ Ἡρῴδης σὺν τοῖς στρατεύμασιν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐμπαίξας, περιβαλὼν αὐτὸν ἐσθῆτα λαμπρὰν ἀνέπεμψεν αὐτὸν τῷ Πιλάτῳ.

Sprevit autem illum Herodes cum exercitu suo et illusit indutum veste alba et remisit ad Pilatum.

11 ხოლო ჰეროდე შეურაცხ-ყო იგი და ერმან მისმან, და განკიცხეს იგი და შეჰმოსეს მას სამოსელი ბრწყინვალე და მიუძღუანეს პილატეს.

11 And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate.

ἐγένοντο δὲ φίλοι ὅ τε Ἡρῴδης καὶ ὁ Πιλᾶτος ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ μετ᾿ ἀλλήλων· προϋπῆρχον γὰρ ἐν ἔχθρᾳ ὄντες πρὸς ἑαυτούς.

Facti sunt autem amici inter se Herodes et Pilatus in ipsa die; nam antea inimici erant ad invicem.

12 და იქმნნეს მეგობარ პილატე და ჰეროდე ურთიერთას მას დღესა შინა, რამეთუ პირველ მტერ იყვნეს იგინი.

12 And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.

Πιλᾶτος δὲ συγκαλεσάμενος τοὺς ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ τοὺς ἄρχοντας καὶ τὸν λαὸν

Pilatus autem, convocatis principibus sacerdotum et magistratibus et plebe,

13 ხოლო პილატე მოუწოდა მღდელთ-მოძღუართა მათ და მთავართა და ერსა მას.

13 And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,

εἶπε πρὸς αὐτούς· προσηνέγκατέ μοι τὸν ἄνθρωπον τοῦτον ὡς ἀποστρέφοντα τὸν λαόν, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐνώπιον ὑμῶν ἀνακρίνας οὐδὲν εὗρον ἐν τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ τούτῳ αἴτιον ὧν κατηγορεῖτε κατ᾿ αὐτοῦ.

dixit ad illos: “Obtulistis mihi hunc hominem quasi avertentem populum, et ecce ego coram vobis interrogans nullam causam inveni in homine isto ex his, in quibus eum accusatis,

14 და ჰრქუა მათ: მომგუარეთ მე კაცი ესე, ვითარცა გარდამაქცეველი ერისაჲ, და მე წინაშე თქუენსა განვიკითხე და არარაჲ ვპოე ბრალი კაცისა ამის თანა, რასა-იგი შეასმენდით მას.

14 Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:

ἀλλ᾿ οὐδὲ Ἡρῴδης· ἀνέπεμψα γὰρ ὑμᾶς πρὸς αὐτόν· καὶ ἰδοὺ οὐδὲν ἄξιον θανάτου ἐστὶ πεπραγμένον αὐτῷ.

sed neque Herodes; remisit enim illum ad nos. Et ecce nihil dignum morte actum est ei.

15 და არცა ჰეროდე, რამეთუ მიუძღუანე მას, და აჰა არარაჲ ღირსი სიკუდილისაჲ საქმე არს მის თანა.

15 No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.

παιδεύσας οὖν αὐτὸν ἀπολύσω.

Emendatum ergo illum dimittam”.

16 ვსწავლო იგი და განუტევო.

16 I will therefore chastise him, and release him.

ἀνάγκην δὲ εἶχεν ἀπολύειν αὐτοῖς κατὰ ἑορτὴν ἕνα.

17 რამეთუ უნებელად ედებოდა მას განტევებად დღესასწაულსა მას ერთი.

17 (For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.)

ἀνέκραξαν δὲ παμπληθεὶ λέγοντες· αἶρε τοῦτον, ἀπόλυσον δὲ ἡμῖν Βαραββᾶν·

Exclamavit autem universa turba dicens: “Tolle hunc et dimitte nobis Barabbam!”,

18 ღაღატ-ყვეს ყოველმან მან სიმრავლემან და იტყოდეს: აღიღე ეგე და მოგჳტევე ჩუენ ბარაბა,

18 And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:

ὅστις ἦν διὰ στάσιν τινὰ γενομένην ἐν τῇ πόλει καὶ φόνον βεβλημένος εἰς τὴν φυλακήν.

qui erat propter seditionem quandam factam in civitate et homicidium missus in carcerem.

19 რომელი შფოთისა ყოფასა ქალაქსა შინა და კაცის-კლვისათჳს შეგდებულ იყო საპყრობილესა.

19 (Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.)

πάλιν οὖν ὁ Πιλᾶτος προσεφώνησε, θέλων ἀπολῦσαι τὸν Ἰησοῦν.

Iterum autem Pilatus locutus est ad illos volens dimittere Iesum,

20 კუალად უკუე მოუწოდა მათ პილატე, რამეთუ უნდა განტევებაჲ იესუჲსი.

20 Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them.

οἱ δὲ ἐπεφώνουν λέγοντες· σταύρωσον σταύρωσον αὐτόν.

at illi succlamabant dicentes: “Crucifige, crucifige illum!”.

21 ხოლო იგინი ღაღადებდეს და იტყოდეს: ჯუარს-აცუ, ჯუარს-აცუ ეგე!

21 But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.

ὁ δὲ τρίτον εἶπε πρὸς αὐτούς· τί γὰρ κακὸν ἐποίησεν οὗτος; οὐδὲν ἄξιον θανάτου εὗρον ἐν αὐτῷ· παιδεύσας οὖν αὐτὸν ἀπολύσω.

Ille autem tertio dixit ad illos: “Quid enim mali fecit iste? Nullam causam mortis invenio in eo; corripiam ergo illum et dimittam”.

22 ხოლო მან მესამედ ჰრქუა მათ: რაჲ ბოროტი უქმნიეს ამას? არარაჲ ბრალი სიკუდილისაჲ ვპოე ამის თანა. ვსწავლო ეგე და განუტევო.

22 And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go.

οἱ δὲ ἐπέκειντο φωναῖς μεγάλαις αἰτούμενοι αὐτὸν σταυρωθῆναι, καὶ κατίσχυον αἱ φωναὶ αὐτῶν καὶ τῶν ἀρχιερέων.

At illi instabant vocibus magnis postulantes, ut crucifigeretur, et invalescebant voces eorum.

23 ხოლო იგინი ზედა დაესხმოდეს ჴმითა დიდითა და გამოითხოვდეს მას ჯუარ-ცუმად; და განძლიერდებოდეს ჴმანი მათნი და მღდელთ-მოძღუართანი.

23 And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.

ὁ δὲ Πιλᾶτος ἐπέκρινε γενέσθαι τὸ αἴτημα αὐτῶν,

Et Pilatus adiudicavit fieri petitionem eorum:

24 მაშინ პილატე საჯა თხოვისაებრ მათისა

24 And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.

ἀπέλυσε δὲ αὐτοῖς τὸν Βαραββᾶν τὸν διὰ στάσιν καὶ φόνον βεβλημένον εἰς τὴν φυλακήν, ὃν ᾐτοῦντο, τὸν δὲ Ἰησοῦν παρέδωκε τῷ θελήματι αὐτῶν.

dimisit autem eum, qui propter seditionem et homicidium missus fuerat in carcerem, quem petebant; Iesum vero tradidit voluntati eorum.

25 და მიუტევა მათ ბარაბა, რომელი-იგი შფოთისათჳს და კაცის-კლვისა შეგდებულ იყო საპყრობილესა, რომელსაცა ითხოვდეს, ხოლო იესუ მისცა ნებასა მათსა.

25 And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.

Καὶ ὡς ἀπήγαγον αὐτόν, ἐπιλαβόμενοι Σίμωνός τινος Κυρηναίου, ἐρχομένου ἀπ᾿ ἀγροῦ, ἐπέθηκαν αὐτῷ τὸν σταυρὸν φέρειν ὀπίσω τοῦ Ἰησοῦ.

Et cum abducerent eum, apprehenderunt Simonem quendam Cyrenensem venientem de villa et imposuerunt illi crucem portare post Iesum.

26 და ვითარცა წარიყვანეს იგი, შეიპყრეს სიმონ ვინმე კჳრინელი, მომავალი ველით, და დასდევს მას ზედა ჯუარი იგი, და მიაქუნდა შემდგომად იესუჲსა.

26 And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.

ἠκολούθει δὲ αὐτῷ πολὺ πλῆθος τοῦ λαοῦ καὶ γυναικῶν, αἳ καὶ ἐκόπτοντο καὶ ἐθρήνουν αὐτόν.

Sequebatur autem illum multa turba populi et mulierum, quae plangebant et lamentabant eum.

27 და შეუდგა მას სიმარავლე ერისაჲ და დედებისაჲ, რომელნი ეტყებდეს და სტიროდეს მას.

27 And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.

στραφεὶς δὲ πρὸς αὐτὰς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπε· θυγατέρες Ἱερουσαλήμ, μὴ κλαίετε ἐπ᾿ ἐμέ, πλὴν ἐφ᾿ ἑαυτὰς κλαίετε καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ τέκνα ὑμῶν.

Conversus autem ad illas Iesus dixit: “Filiae Ierusalem, nolite flere super me, sed super vos ipsas flete et super filios vestros,

28 მიექცა მათ იესუ და ეტყოდა: ასულნო იერუსალჱმისანო, ნუ სტირთ ჩემ ზედა, არამედ თავთა თქუენთა სტიროდეთ და შვილთა თქუენთა.

28 But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

ὅτι ἰδοὺ ἔρχονται ἡμέραι ἐν αἷς ἐροῦσι· μακάριαι αἱ στεῖραι καὶ κοιλίαι αἳ οὐκ ἐγέννησαν, καὶ μαστοὶ οἳ οὐκ ἐθήλασαν.

quoniam ecce venient dies, in quibus dicent: “Beatae steriles et ventres, qui non genuerunt, et ubera, quae non lactaverunt!”.

29 რამეთუ აჰა ესერა მოვლენან დღენი, რომელთა შინა თქუან: ნეტარ არიან ბერწნი და მუცელნი, რომელთა არა შვნეს, და ძუძუნი, რომელთა არა განზარდნეს

29 For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

τότε ἄρξονται λέγειν τοῖς ὄρεσι, πέσετε ἐφ᾿ ἡμᾶς, καὶ τοῖς βουνοῖς, καλύψατε ἡμᾶς·

Tunc incipient dicere montibus: “Cadite super nos!”, et collibus: “Operite nos!”,

30 მაშინ იწყონ სიტყუად მთათა: დამეცენით ჩუენ ზედა! და ბორცუთა: დამფარენით ჩუენ!

30 Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.

ὅτι εἰ ἐν τῷ ὑγρῷ ξύλῳ ταῦτα ποιοῦσιν, ἐν τῷ ξηρῷ τί γένηται;

quia si in viridi ligno haec faciunt, in arido quid fiet?”.

31 რამეთუ უკუეთუ ნედლსა ხესა ესრეთ უყოფენ, ჴმელსა მას რაჲ-მე ეყოს?

31 For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

ἤγοντο δὲ καὶ ἕτεροι δύο κακοῦργοι σὺν αὐτῷ ἀναιρεθῆναι.

Ducebantur autem et alii duo nequam cum eo, ut interficerentur.

32 მაშინ მოჰყვანდეს სხუანიცა ორნი ძჳრის-მოქმედნი მოკლვად მის თანა.

32 And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.

καὶ ὅτε ἀπῆλθον ἐπὶ τὸν τόπον τὸν καλούμενον Κρανίον, ἐκεῖ ἐσταύρωσαν αὐτὸν καὶ τοὺς κακούργους, ὃν μὲν ἐκ δεξιῶν ὃν δὲ ἐξ ἀριστερῶν.

Et postquam venerunt in locum, qui vocatur Calvariae, ibi crucifixerunt eum et latrones, unum a dextris et alterum a sinistris.

33 და ვითარცა მოჰყვანდეს ადგილისა მას, რომელსა ჰრქჳან თხემისა ადგილი, და მუნ ჯუარს-აცუეს იგი და ძჳრის-მოქმედნიცა იგი მის თანა, რომელიმე მარჯუენით და რომელიმე მარცხენით მისა ჯუარს-აცუნეს.

33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς ἔλεγε· πάτερ, ἄφες αὐτοῖς· οὐ γὰρ οἴδασι τί ποιοῦσι. διαμεριζόμενοι δὲ τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ ἔβαλλον κλῆρον.

Iesus autem dicebat: “Pater, dimitte illis, non enim sciunt quid faciunt”. Dividentes vero vestimenta eius miserunt sortes.

34 ხოლო იესუ იტყოდა: მამაო, მიუტევე ამათ, რამეთუ არა იციან, რასა იქმან. ხოლო გან-რაჲ-იყოფდეს სამოსელსა მისსა, განიგდეს წილი.

34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

καὶ εἱστήκει ὁ λαὸς θεωρῶν. ἐξεμυκτήριζον δὲ καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες σὺν αὐτοῖς λέγοντες· ἄλλους ἔσωσε, σωσάτω ἑαυτόν, εἰ οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ Χριστὸς ὁ τοῦ Θεοῦ ἐκλεκτός.

Et stabat populus exspectans. Et deridebant illum et principes dicentes: “Alios salvos fecit; se salvum faciat, si hic est Christus Dei electus!”.

35 და დგა ერი იგი და ხედვიდა. ხოლო შეურაცხ-ჰყოფდეს მას მთავარნიცა იგი მათ თანა და იტყოდეს: სხუანი აცხოვნნა, იცხოვნენ თავიცა თჳსი, უკუეთუ ეგე არს ქრისტე, რჩეული ღმრთისჲ.

35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

ἐνέπαιζον δὲ αὐτῷ καὶ οἱ στρατιῶται προσερχόμενοι καὶ ὄξος προσφέροντες αὐτῷ

Illudebant autem ei et milites accedentes, acetum offerentes illi

36 ემღერდეს მას ერის-კაცნიცა იგი, მოუჴდიან მას და ძმარი მოართჳან

36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,

καὶ λέγοντες· εἰ σὺ εἶ ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων, σῶσον σεαυτόν.

et dicentes: “Si tu es rex Iudaeorum, salvum te fac!”.

37 და ეტყჳედ: შენ თუ ხარ მეუფე ჰურიათაჲ, იჴსენ თავი შენი.

37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

ἦν δὲ καὶ ἐπιγραφὴ γεγραμμένη ἐπ᾿ αὐτῷ γράμμασιν ῾Ελληνικοῖς καὶ Ρωμαϊκοῖς καὶ ῾Εβραϊκοῖς· οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων.

Erat autem et superscriptio super illum: “Hic est rex Iudaeorum”.

38 ხოლო იყო ზედაწერილიცა, რომელი დაწერილ იყო მას ზედა წიგნითა ბერძულითა და ჰრომაელებრითა და ებრაელებრითა, ვითარმედ: ესე არს იესუ, მეუფე ჰურიათაჲ.

38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

εἷς δὲ τῶν κρεμασθέντων κακούργων ἐβλασφήμει αὐτὸν λέγων· εἰ σὺ εἶ ὁ Χριστός, σῶσον σεαυτὸν καὶ ἡμᾶς.

Unus autem de his, qui pendebant, latronibus blasphemabat eum dicens: “Nonne tu es Christus? Salvum fac temetipsum et nos!”.

39 ხოლო ერთი იგი დამოკიდებულთაგანი ძჳრის-მოქმედი ჰგმობდა მას და ეტყოდა: შენ თუ ხარ ქრისტე, იჴსენ თავი შენი და ჩუენცა.

39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ ἕτερος ἐπετίμα αὐτῷ λέγων· οὐδὲ φοβῇ σὺ τὸν Θεόν, ὅτι ἐν τῷ αὐτῷ κρίματι εἶ;

Respondens autem alter increpabat illum dicens: “Neque tu times Deum, quod in eadem damnatione es?

40 მიუგო ერთმან მან მოყუასმან, შეჰრისხნა მას და ეტყოდა: არცაღა გეშინის შენ ღმრთისა, რამეთუ მასვე სასჯელსა შინა ხარ?

40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

καὶ ἡμεῖς μὲν δικαίως· ἄξια γὰρ ὧν ἐπράξαμεν ἀπολαμβάνομεν· οὗτος δὲ οὐδὲν ἄτοπον ἔπραξε.

Et nos quidem iuste, nam digna factis recipimus! Hic vero nihil mali gessit”.

41 და ჩუენ სამართლად ღირსი, რომელი ვქმენით, მოგუეგების, ხოლო ამან არარაჲ უჯეროჲ ქმნა.

41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

καὶ ἔλεγε τῷ Ἰησοῦ· μνήσθητί μου, Κύριε, ὅταν ἔλθῃς ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ σου.

Et dicebat: “Iesu, memento mei, cum veneris in regnum tuum”.

42 და ეტყოდა იესუს: მომიჴსენე მე, უფალო, ოდეს მოხჳდე სუფევითა შენითა.

42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς· ἀμὴν λέγω σοι, σήμερον μετ᾿ ἐμοῦ ἔσῃ ἐν τῷ παραδείσῳ.

Et dixit illi: “Amen dico tibi: Hodie mecum eris in paradiso”.

43 ხოლო იესუ ჰრქუა მას: ამინ გეტყჳ შენ: დღეს ჩემ თანა იყო სამოთხესა.

43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Ἦν δὲ ὡσεὶ ὥρα ἕκτη καὶ σκότος ἐγένετο ἐφ᾿ ὅλην τὴν γῆν ἕως ὥρας ἐνάτης, τοῦ ἡλίου ἐκλείποντος,

Et erat iam fere hora sexta, et tenebrae factae sunt in universa terra usque in horam nonam,

44 და იყო ჟამი მეექუსე, და ბნელი იყო ყოველსა ქუეყანასა ვიდრე მეცხრედ ჟამადმდე.

44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

καὶ ἐσχίσθη τὸ καταπέτασμα τοῦ ναοῦ μέσον·

et obscuratus est sol, et velum templi scissum est medium.

45 და დაბნელდა მზე, და განიპო კრეტსაბმელი ტაძრისაჲ მის შორის.

45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

καὶ φωνήσας φωνῇ μεγάλῃ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπε· πάτερ, εἰς χεῖράς σου παρατίθεμαι τὸ πνεῦμά μου· καὶ ταῦτα εἰπὼν ἐξέπνευσεν.

Et clamans voce magna Iesus ait: “Pater, in manus tuas commendo spiritum meum”; et haec dicens exspiravit.

46 და ჴმა-ყო ჴმითა დიდითა იესუ და თქუა: მამაო, ჴელთა შენთა შევჰვედრებ სულსა ჩემსა. და ესე რაჲ თქუა, განუტევა სული.

46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

ἰδὼν δὲ ὁ ἑκατόνταρχος τὸ γενόμενον ἐδόξασε τὸν Θεὸν λέγων· ὄντως ὁ ἄνθρωπος οὗτος δίκαιος ἦν.

Videns autem centurio, quod factum fuerat, glorificavit Deum dicens: “Vere hic homo iustus erat!”.

47 და ვითარცა იხილა ასისთავმან მან საქმე ესე, ადიდებდა ღმერთსა და იტყოდა: ჭეშმარიტად კაცი ესე მართალი იყო.

47 Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

καὶ πάντες οἱ συμπαραγενόμενοι ὄχλοι ἐπὶ τὴν θεωρίαν ταύτην, θεωροῦντες τὰ γενόμενα, τύπτοντες ἑαυτῶν τὰ στήθη ὑπέστρεφον.

Et omnis turba eorum, qui simul aderant ad spectaculum istud et videbant, quae fiebant, percutientes pectora sua revertebantur.

48 და ყოველნი მათ თანა მოსრულნი და რომელთა იხილეს ხილვაჲ ესე და საქმენი ესე, იცემდეს მკერდსა მათსა და წარვიდოდეს.

48 And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.

εἱστήκεισαν δὲ πάντες οἱ γνωστοὶ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ μακρόθεν, καὶ γυναῖκες αἱ συνακολουθήσασαι αὐτῷ ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας, ὁρῶσαι ταῦτα.

Stabant autem omnes noti eius a longe et mulieres, quae secutae erant eum a Galilaea, haec videntes.

49 და დგეს ყოველნი მეცნიერნი მისნი შორით; და დედანი, რომელნი შეუდგეს მას გალილეაჲთ, ხედვიდეს მას.

49 And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things.

Καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀνὴρ ὀνόματι Ἰωσήφ, βουλευτὴς ὑπάρχων καὶ ἀνὴρ ἀγαθὸς καὶ δίκαιος

Et ecce vir nomine Ioseph, qui erat decurio, vir bonus et iustus

50 და აჰა ესერა კაცი, სახელით იოსებ, მზრახვალი, იყო კაცის სახიერი და მართალი;

50 And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:

οὗτος οὐκ ἦν συγκατατεθειμένος τῇ βουλῇ καὶ τῇ πράξει αὐτῶν ἀπὸ Ἀριμαθαίας πόλεως τῶν Ἰουδαίων, ὃς προσεδέχετο καὶ αὐτὸς τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ Θεοῦ,

Chic non consenserat consilio et actibus eorum — ab Arimathaea civitate Iudaeorum, qui exspectabat regnum Dei,

51 ესე არა თანა-შერთულ იყო ზრახვასა მათსა და საქმესა. იყო იგი არიმათიაჲთ, ქალაქისაგან ჰურიათაჲსა, რომელი-იგიცა მოელოდა სასუფეველსა ღმრთისასა.

51 (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.

οὗτος προσελθὼν τῷ Πιλάτῳ ᾐτήσατο τὸ σῶμα τοῦ Ἰησοῦ,

hic accessit ad Pilatum et petiit corpus Iesu

52 ესე მივიდა პილატესა და მოითხოვა გუამი იგი იესუჲსი.

52 This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.

καὶ καθελὼν αὐτὸ ἐνετύλιξε σινδόνι καὶ ἔθηκεν αὐτὸ ἐν μνήματι λαξευτῷ, οὗ οὐκ ἦν οὐδεὶς οὐδέπω κείμενος·

et depositum involvit sindone et posuit eum in monumento exciso, in quo nondum quisquam positus fuerat.

53 და გარდამოჰჴსნა იგი და შეჰმოსა მას არდაგი და დადვა იგი საფლავსა გამოკუეთილსა კლდისაგან, სადა არავინ დადებულ იყო.

53 And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.

καὶ ἡμέρα ἦν παρασκευή, σάββατον ἐπέφωσκε.

Et dies erat Parasceves, et sabbatum illucescebat.

54 და დღე იგი იყო პარასკევი, შაბათად განთენდებოდა.

54 And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.

κατακολουθήσασαι δὲ αἱ γυναῖκες, αἵτινες ἦσαν συνεληλυθυῖαι αὐτῷ ἐκ τῆς Γαλιλαίας, ἐθεάσαντο τὸ μνημεῖον καὶ ὡς ἐτέθη τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ,

Subsecutae autem mulieres, quae cum ipso venerant de Galilaea, viderunt monumentum et quemadmodum positum erat corpus eius;

55 შეუდგეს მას დედანიცა, რომელნი მის თანა მოსრულ იყვნეს გალილეაჲთ, და იხილეს საფლავი და ვითარ დასდებდეს გუმასა მისსა.

55 And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.

ὑποστρέψασαι δὲ ἡτοίμασαν ἀρώματα καὶ μύρα. καὶ τὸ μὲν σάββατον ἡσύχασαν κατὰ τὴν ἐντολήν.

et revertentes paraverunt aromata et unguenta et sabbato quidem siluerunt secundum mandatum.

56 და წარვიდეს და მოჰმზადეს საკუმეველი სულნელი და ნელსაცხებელი და შაბათი იგი და-ღა-იდუმეს მცნებისა მისთჳს.

56 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
