1 The Gospel According to Saint Mark

ΑΡΧΗ τοῦ εὐαγγελίου Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ.

Initium Evangelii Jesu Christi, Filii Dei.

1 დასაბამი სახარებისაჲ იესუ ქრისტესი, ძისა ღმრთისაჲ.

The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

Καθὼς γέγραπται ἐν τῷ Ἠσαίᾳ τῷ προφήτῃ “ Ἰδοὺ ἀποστέλλω τὸν ἄγγελόν μου πρὸ προσώπου σου, ὃς κατασκευάσει τὴν ὁδόν σου:

Sicut scriptum est in Isaia propheta: Ecce ego mitto angelum meum ante faciem tuam,qui præparabit viam tuam ante te.

2 ვითარცა წერილ არს ესაია წინაწარმეტყუელსა: აჰა ესერა მე წარვავლინო ანგელოზი ჩემი წინაშე პირსა შენსა, რომელმან განჰმზადნეს გზანი შენნი წინაშე შენსა.

As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

Φωνὴ βοῶντος ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Ἑτοιμάσατε τὴν ὁδὸν Κυρίου, εὐθείας ποιεῖτε τὰς τρίβους αὐτοῦ,”

Vox clamantis in deserto:Parate viam Domini, rectas facite semitas ejus.

3 ჴმაჲ ღაღადებისაჲ უდაბნოსა: განჰმზადენით გზანი უფლისანი და წრფელ ყვენით ალაგნი მისნი.

The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

ἐγένετο Ἰωάνης ὁ βαπτίζων ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ κηρύσσων βάπτισμα μετανοίας εἰς ἄφεσιν ἁμαρτιῶν.

Fuit Joannes in deserto baptizans, et prædicans baptismum pœnitentiæ in remissionem peccatorum.

4 იყო იოვანე უდაბნოსა და ნათელ-სცემდა და ქადაგებდა ნათლის-ცემასა სინანულისასა მისატევებელად ცოდვათა.

John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

καὶ ἐξεπορεύετο πρὸς αὐτὸν πᾶσα ἡ Ἰουδαία χώρα καὶ οἱ Ἰεροσολυμεῖται πάντες, καὶ ἐβαπτίζοντο ὑπ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ Ἰορδάνῃ ποταμῷ ἐξομολογούμενοι τὰς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν.

Et egrediebatur ad eum omnis Judææ regio, et Jerosolymitæ universi, et baptizabantur ab illo in Jordanis flumine, confitentes peccata sua.

5 და განვიდოდა მისა ყოველი სოფლები ჰურიასტანისაჲ და იერუსალჱმელნი და ნათელს-იღებდეს მისგან ყოველნი იორდანესა მდინარესა და აღუვარებდეს ცოდვათა მათთა.

And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.

καὶ ἦν ὁ Ἰωάνης ἐνδεδυμένος τρίχας καμήλου καὶ ζώνην δερματίνην περὶ τὴν ὀσφὺν αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἔσθων ἀκρίδας καὶ μέλι ἄγριον.

Et erat Joannes vestitus pilis cameli, et zona pellicea circa lumbos ejus, et locustas et mel silvestre edebat.

6 ხოლო ემოსა იოვანეს სამოსლად თმისაგან აქლემისა, და სარტყელი ტყავისაჲ წელთა მისთა, და ჭამდა იგი მკალსა და თაფლსა ველურსა,

And John was clothed with camel’s hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;

καὶ ἐκήρυσσεν λέγων Ἔρχεται ὁ ἰσχυρότερός μου ὀπίσω [μου], οὗ οὐκ εἰμὶ ἱκανὸς κύψας λῦσαι τὸν ἱμάντα τῶν ὑποδημάτων αὐτοῦ:

Et prædicabat dicens: Venit fortior post me, cujus non sum dignus procumbens solvere corrigiam calceamentorum ejus.

7 ქადაგებდა და იტყოდა: ესერა მოვალს უძლიერესი ჩემსა შემდგომად ჩემსა, რომლისა ვერ ღირს ვარ განჴსნად საბელსა ჴამლთა მისთასა.

And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

ἐγὼ ἐβάπτισα ὑμᾶς ὕδατι, αὐτὸς δὲ βαπτίσει ὑμᾶς πνεύματι ἁγίῳ.

Ego baptizavi vos aqua, ille vero baptizabit vos Spiritu Sancto.

8 მე ნათელ-გცემ თქუენ წყლითა, ხოლო მან ნათელ-გცეს თქუენ სულითა წმიდითა.

I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.

ΚΑΙ ΕΓΕΝΕΤΟ ἐν ἐκείναις ταῖς ἡμέραις ἦλθεν Ἰησοῦς ἀπὸ Ναζαρὲτ τῆς Γαλιλαίας καὶ ἐβαπτίσθη εἰς τὸν Ἰορδάνην ὑπὸ Ἰωάνου.

Et factum est: in diebus illis venit Jesus a Nazareth Galilææ: et baptizatus est a Joanne in Jordane.

9 და იყო მათ დღეთა შინა მოვიდა იესუ ნაზარეთით გალილეაჲსაჲთ და ნათელ-იღო იოვანესგან იორდანესა.

And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.

καὶ εὐθὺς ἀναβαίνων ἐκ τοῦ ὕδατος εἶδεν σχιζομένους τοὺς οὐρανοὺς καὶ τὸ πνεῦμα ὡς περιστερὰν καταβαῖνον εἰς αὐτόν:

Et statim ascendens de aqua, vidit cælos apertos, et Spiritum tamquam columbam descendentem, et manentem in ipso.

10 და მეყსეულად აღმოსლვასა მისსა მიერ წყლით იხილნა ცანი განხმულნი და სული ღმრთისაჲ გარდამომავალი, ვითარცა ტრედი, მის ზედა.

And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

καὶ φωνὴ [ἐγένετο] ἐκ τῶν οὐρανῶν Σὺ εἶ ὁ υἱός μου ὁ ἀγαπητός, ἐν σοὶ εὐδόκησα.

Et vox facta est de cælis: Tu es Filius meus dilectus, in te complacui.

11 და ჴმაჲ იყო ზეცით: შენ ხარ ძე ჩემი საყუარელი, შენ სათნო-გიყავ.

And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Καὶ εὐθὺς τὸ πνεῦμα αὐτὸν ἐκβάλλει εἰς τὴν ἔρημον.

Et statim Spiritus expulit eum in desertum.

12 და მეყსეულად სულმან განიყვანა იგი უდაბნოდ.

And immediately the spirit driveth him into the wilderness.

καὶ ἦν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τεσσεράκοντα ἡμέρας πειραζόμενος ὑπὸ τοῦ Σατανᾶ, καὶ ἦν μετὰ τῶν θηρίων, καὶ οἱ ἄγγελοι διηκόνουν αὐτῷ.

Et erat in deserto quadraginta diebus, et quadraginta noctibus: et tentabatur a Satana: eratque cum bestiis, et angeli ministrabant illi.

13 და იყო მუნ ორმეოც დღე და გამოიცადებოდა ეშმაკისაგან და იყო მჴეცთა თანა, და ანგელოზნი ჰმსახურებდეს მას.

And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.

Καὶ μετὰ τὸ παραδοθῆναι τὸν Ἰωάνην ἦλθεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν κηρύσσων τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τοῦ θεοῦ

Postquam autem traditus est Joannes, venit Jesus in Galilæam, prædicans Evangelium regni Dei,

14 და შემდგომად მიცემისა იოვანესა მოვიდა იესუ გალილეად, ქადაგებდა სახარებასა სასუფეველისა ღმრთისასა

Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

[καὶ λέγων] ὅτι Πεπλήρωται ὁ καιρὸς καὶ ἤγγικεν ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ: μετανοεῖτε καὶ πιστεύετε ἐν τῷ εὐαγγελίῳ.

et dicens: Quoniam impletum est tempus, et appropinquavit regnum Dei: pœnitemini, et credite Evangelio.

15 და იტყოდა, ვითარმედ: აღსრულებულ არს ჟამი და მოახლებულ არს სასუფეველი ღმრთისაჲ; შეინანეთ და გრწმენინ სახარებისაჲ.

And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Καὶ παράγων παρὰ τὴν θάλασσαν τῆς Γαλιλαίας εἶδεν Σίμωνα καὶ Ἀνδρέαν τὸν ἀδελφὸν Σίμωνος ἀμφιβάλλοντας ἐν τῇ θαλάσσῃ, ἦσαν γὰρ ἁλεεῖς:

Et præteriens secus mare Galilææ, vidit Simonem, et Andream fratrem ejus, mittentes retia in mare (erant enim piscatores),

16 ხოლო ვიდოდა რაჲ ზღჳს-კიდესა მას გალილეაჲსასა, იხილნა სიმონ და ანდრეა, ძმაჲ მისი, ითხევლიდეს რაჲ ზღუასა მას ზედა, რამეთუ იყვნეს იგინი მესათხევლე.

Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς Δεῦτε ὀπίσω μου, καὶ ποιήσω ὑμᾶς γενέσθαι ἁλεεῖς ἀνθρώπων.

et dixit eis Jesus: Venite post me, et faciam vos fieri piscatores hominum.

17 და ჰრქუა მათ იესუ: მოვედით და შემომიდეგით მე, და გყვნე თქუენ მესათხევლე კაცთა.

And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

καὶ εὐθὺς ἀφέντες τὰ δίκτυα ἠκολούθησαν αὐτῷ.

Et protinus relictis retibus, secuti sunt eum.

18 ხოლო მათ მეყსეულად დაუტევნეს ბადენი მათნი და მისდევდეს მას.

And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.

Καὶ προβὰς ὀλίγον εἶδεν Ἰάκωβον τὸν τοῦ Ζεβεδαίου καὶ Ἰωάνην τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ, καὶ αὐτοὺς ἐν τῷ πλοίῳ καταρτίζοντας τὰ δίκτυα,

Et progressus inde pusillum, vidit Jacobum Zebedæi, et Joannem fratrem ejus, et ipsos componentes retia in navi:

19 და მცირედ წარვიდა და იხილა იაკობ ზებედესი და იოვანე, ძმაჲ მისი, და იგინი განაგებდეს ბადეთა ნავსა შინა.

And when he had gone a little farther thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.

καὶ εὐθὺς ἐκάλεσεν αὐτούς. καὶ ἀφέντες τὸν πατέρα αὐτῶν Ζεβεδαῖον ἐν τῷ πλοίῳ μετὰ τῶν μισθωτῶν ἀπῆλθον ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ.

et statim vocavit illos. Et relicto patre suo Zebedæo in navi cum mercenariis, secuti sunt eum.

20 და უწოდა მათ. ხოლო მათ მეყსეულად დაუტევეს ზებედე, მამაჲ მათი, ნავსა შინა მუშაკთა მისთა თანა და მისდევდეს მას.

And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.

Καὶ εἰσπορεύονται εἰς Καφαρναούμ. Καὶ εὐθὺς τοῖς σάββασιν εἰσελθὼν εἰς τὴν συναγωγὴν ἐδίδασκεν.

Et ingrediuntur Capharnaum: et statim sabbatis ingressus in synagogam, docebat eos.

21 და შევიდეს კაპერნაუმდ. და მეყსეულად დღესა შაბათსა შევიდა შესაკრებელსა მათსა და ასწავებდა მათ.

And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.

καὶ ἐξεπλήσσοντο ἐπὶ τῇ διδαχῇ αὐτοῦ, ἦν γὰρ διδάσκων αὐτοὺς ὡς ἐξουσίαν ἔχων καὶ οὐχ ὡς οἱ γραμματεῖς.

Et stupebant super doctrina ejus: erat enim docens eos quasi potestatem habens, et non sicut scribæ.

22 და განუკჳრდებოდა ერსა მას მოძღურებაჲ იგი მისი, რამეთუ ასწავებდა მათ, ვითარცა-იგი ვის აქუნ ჴელმწიფებაჲ, და არა ვითარ-იგი მწიგნობარნი მათნი.

And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.

καὶ εὐθὺς ἦν ἐν τῇ συναγωγῇ αὐτῶν ἄνθρωπος ἐν πνεύματι ἀκαθάρτῳ, καὶ ἀνέκραξεν

Et erat in synagoga eorum homo in spiritu immundo: et exclamavit,

23 და იყო კრებულსა მას შინა მათსა კაცი, რომლისა თანა იყო სული არაწმიდაჲ, ღაღატ-ყო

And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,

λέγων Τί ἡμῖν καὶ σοί, Ἰησοῦ Ναζαρηνέ; ἦλθες ἀπολέσαι ἡμᾶς; οἶδά σε τίς εἶ, ὁ ἅγιος τοῦ θεοῦ.

dicens: Quid nobis et tibi, Jesu Nazarene? venisti perdere nos? scio qui sis, Sanctus Dei.

24 და თქუა: ეჰა, რაჲ არს ჩუენი და შენი, იესუ ნაზარეველო? მოსრულ ხარ წარწყმედად ჩუენდა. გიცით შენ, ვინ ხარ, წმიდაჲ ეგე ღმრთისაჲ.

Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

καὶ ἐπετίμησεν αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς [λέγων] Φιμώθητι καὶ ἔξελθε ἐξ αὐτοῦ.

Et comminatus est ei Jesus, dicens: Obmutesce, et exi de homine.

25 შეჰრისხნა მას იესუ და ჰრქუა: პირი დაიყავ და განვედ მაგისგან!

And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

καὶ σπαράξαν αὐτὸν τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἀκάθαρτον καὶ φωνῆσαν φωνῇ μεγάλῃ ἐξῆλθεν ἐξ αὐτοῦ. καὶ ἐθαμβήθησαν ἅπαντες,

Et discerpens eum spiritus immundus, et exclamans voce magna, exiit ab eo.

26 და დასცა იგი სულმან მან არაწმიდამან, და ჴმა-ყო ჴმითა დიდითა და განვიდა მისგან.

And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.

ὥστε συνζητεῖν αὐτοὺς λέγοντας Τί ἐστιν τοῦτο; διδαχὴ καινή: κατ᾽ ἐξουσίαν καὶ τοῖς πνεύμασι τοῖς ἀκαθάρτοις ἐπιτάσσει, καὶ ὑπακούουσιν αὐτῷ.

Et mirati sunt omnes, ita ut conquirerent inter se dicentes: Quidnam est hoc? quænam doctrina hæc nova? quia in potestate etiam spiritibus immundis imperat, et obediunt ei.

27 და დაუკჳრდებოდა ყოველთა, ვიდრე გამოძიებადმდე ურთიერთას, და იტყოდეს: რაჲ-მე არს მოძღურებაჲ ესე ახალი, რამეთუ ჴელმწიფებით სულთაცა არაწმიდათა უბრძანებს, და ერჩიან მას?

And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.

Καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ἡ ἀκοὴ αὐτοῦ εὐθὺς πανταχοῦ εἰς ὅλην την περίχωρον τῆς Γαλιλαίας.

Et processit rumor ejus statim in omnem regionem Galilææ.

28 და განჴდა ჰამბავი მისი ყოველსა სოფლებსა გალილეაჲსასა.

And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.

Καὶ εὐθὺς ἐκ τῆς συναγωγῆς ἐξελθόντες ἦλθαν εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν Σίμωνος καὶ Ἀνδρέου μετὰ Ἰακώβου καὶ Ἰωάνου.

Et protinus egredientes de synagoga, venerunt in domum Simonis et Andreæ, cum Jacobo et Joanne.

29 და მიერ შესაკრებელით გამოვიდა და მოვიდა სახლსა სიმონისსა და ანდრეაჲსსა იოვანეს და იაკობის თანა.

And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.

ἡ δὲ πενθερὰ Σίμωνος κατέκειτο πυρέσσουσα, καὶ εὐθὺς λέγουσιν αὐτῷ περὶ αὐτῆς. καὶ προσελθὼν ἤγειρεν αὐτὴν κρατήσας τῆς χειρός:

Decumbebat autem socrus Simonis febricitans: et statim dicunt ei de illa.

30 ხოლო სიდედრი სიმონისი დავრდომილ იყო მჴურვალებითა. და უთხრეს იესუს მისთჳს.

But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell him of her.

καὶ ἀφῆκεν αὐτὴν ὁ πυρετός, καὶ διηκόνει αὐτοῖς.

Et accedens elevavit eam, apprehensa manu ejus: et continuo dimisit eam febris, et ministrabat eis.

31 და მოვიდა და უპყრა ჴელი მისი და აღადგინა იგი; და მეყსეულად დაუტევა იგი მჴურვალებამან მან, და აღდგა და ჰმსახურებდა მათ.

And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.

Ὀψίας δὲ γενομένης, ὅτε ἔδυσεν ὁ ἥλιος, ἔφερον πρὸς αὐτὸν πάντας τοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας καὶ τοὺς δαιμονιζομένους:

Vespere autem facto cum occidisset sol, afferebant ad eum omnes male habentes, et dæmonia habentes:

32 და ვითარ შემწუხრდებოდა, და მზე დაჰვიდოდა, მოჰყვანდეს მისა ყოველნი სნეულნი და ეშმაკეულნი

And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.

καὶ ἦν ὅλη ἡ πόλις ἐπισυνηγμένη πρὸς τὴν θύραν.

et erat omnis civitas congregata ad januam.

33 და ყოველი ქალაქი შეკრებულ იყო წინაშე კართა.

And all the city was gathered together at the door.

καὶ ἐθεράπευσεν πολλοὺς κακῶς ἔχοντας ποικίλαις νόσοις, καὶ δαιμόνια πολλὰ ἐξέβαλεν, καὶ οὐκ ἤφιεν λαλεῖν τὰ δαιμόνια, ὅτι ᾔδεισαν αὐτὸν [Χριστὸν εἶναι].

Et curavit multos, qui vexabantur variis languoribus, et dæmonia multa ejiciebat, et non sinebat ea loqui, quoniam sciebant eum.

34 და განკურნნა ყოველნი ბოროტთაგან სენთა და თითო-სახეთაგან სნეულებათა და ეშმაკნი მრავალნი განასხნა და არა უტევებდა სიტყუად ეშმაკთა მათ, რამეთუ იცოდეს იგი, ვითარმედ ქრისტე არს.

And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.

Καὶ πρωὶ ἔννυχα λίαν ἀναστὰς ἐξῆλθεν [καὶ ἀπῆλθεν] εἰς ἔρημον τόπον κἀκεῖ προσηύχετο.

Et diluculo valde surgens, egressus abiit in desertum locum, ibique orabat.

35 და განთიად რიჟურაჟუს ოდენ აღდგა და გამოვიდა მიერ და განვიდა უდაბნოსა ადგილსა და მუნ ილოცვიდა.

And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

καὶ κατεδίωξεν αὐτὸν Σίμων καὶ οἱ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ,

Et prosecutus est eum Simon, et qui cum illo erant.

36 და მისდევდეს მას სიმონ და მისთანანი.

And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.

καὶ εὗρον αὐτὸν καὶ λέγουσιν αὐτῷ ὅτι Πάντες ζητοῦσίν σε.

Et cum invenissent eum, dixerunt ei: Quia omnes quærunt te.

37 და პოვეს იგი და ჰრქუეს მას, ვითარმედ: ყოველნი გეძიებენ შენ.

And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.

καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς Ἄγωμεν ἀλλαχοῦ εἰς τὰς ἐχομένας κωμοπόλεις, ἵνα καὶ ἐκεῖ κηρύξω, εἰς τοῦτο γὰρ ἐξῆλθον.

Et ait illis: Eamus in proximos vicos, et civitates, ut et ibi prædicem: ad hoc enim veni.

38 ხოლო იესუ ჰრქუა მათ: მოვედით და წარვიდეთ მახლობელსა დაბნებსა და ქალაქებსა, რაჲთა მუნ უქადაგოთ, რამეთუ ამისთჳს მოვივლინე.

And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.

καὶ ἦλθεν κηρύσσων εἰς τὰς συναγωγὰς αὐτῶν εἰς ὅλην τὴν Γαλιλαίαν καὶ τὰ δαιμόνια ἐκβάλλων.

Et erat prædicans in synagogis eorum, et in omni Galilæa, et dæmonia ejiciens.

39 და ქადაგებდა შესაკრებელთა მათთა და ყოველსა გალილეასა და ეშმაკთა განასხმიდა.

And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.

Καὶ ἔρχεται πρὸς αὐτὸν λεπρὸς παρακαλῶν αὐτὸν [καὶ γονυπετῶν] λέγων αὐτῷ ὅτι Ἐὰν θέλῃς δύνασαί με καθαρίσαι.

Et venit ad eum leprosus deprecans eum: et genu flexo dixit ei: Si vis, potes me mundare.

40 მაშინ მოუჴდა მას ერთი განკეთროვნებული, ევედრებოდა მას და მუჴლნი დაიდგინა და ეტყოდა: უფალო, უკუეთუ გინდეს, ძალ-გიც განწმედად ჩემდა.

And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

καὶ σπλαγχνισθεὶς ἐκτείνας τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἥψατο καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ Θέλω, καθαρίσθητι:

Jesus autem misertus ejus, extendit manum suam: et tangens eum, ait illi: Volo: mundare.

41 ხოლო იესუს შეეწყალა იგი, განყო ჴელი, შეახო მას და ჰრქუა: მნებავს, განწმიდენი!

And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.

καὶ εὐθὺς ἀπῆλθεν ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἡ λέπρα, καὶ ἐκαθερίσθη.

Et cum dixisset, statim discessit ab eo lepra, et mundatus est.

42 და ვითარცა ესე თქუა, მეყსეულად განეყარა მას კეთროვნებაჲ იგი, და განწმიდნა იგი

And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.

καὶ ἐμβριμησάμενος αὐτῷ εὐθὺς ἐξέβαλεν αὐτόν,

Et comminatus est ei, statimque ejecit illum,

43 და შეჰრისხნა მას და მეყსეულად გამოაძო იგი

And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away;

καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ Ὅρα μηδενὶ μηδὲν εἴπῃς, ἀλλὰ ὕπαγε σεαυτὸν “δεῖξον τῷ ἱερεῖ” καὶ προσένεγκε περὶ τοῦ καθαρισμοῦ σου ἃ προσέταξεν Μωυσῆς εἰς μαρτύριον αὐτοῖς.

et dicit ei: Vide nemini dixeris: sed vade, ostende te principi sacerdotum, et offer pro emundatione tua, quæ præcepit Moyses in testimonium illis.

44 და ჰრქუა მას: იხილე, ნუვის უთხრობ, არამედ მივედ და უჩუენე თავი შენი მღდელსა და შეწირე განწმედისა შენისათჳს, რომელი-იგი ბრძანა მოსე საწამებელად მათა.

And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

ὁ δὲ ἐξελθὼν ἤρξατο κηρύσσειν πολλὰ καὶ διαφημίζειν τὸν λόγον, ὥστε μηκέτι αὐτὸν δύνασθαι φανερῶς εἰς πόλιν εἰσελθεῖν, ἀλλὰ ἔξω ἐπ᾽ ἐρήμοις τόποις [ἦν]: καὶ ἤρχοντο πρὸς αὐτὸν πάντοθεν.

At ille egressus cœpit prædicare, et diffamare sermonem, ita ut jam non posset manifeste introire in civitatem, sed foris in desertis locis esset, et conveniebant ad eum undique.

45 ხოლო იგი გამოვიდა მიერ და იწყო ქადაგებად ფრიად და მიმოდადებად სიტყჳსა მის, ვითარმედ ვერღარა ჴელ-ეწიფა მას ცხადად ქალაქად შესლვად, არამედ უდაბნოთა ადგილთა იყოფვოდა. და მოვიდოდეს მისა ყოვლით კერძო.

But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.
