16 The Gospel According to Saint Mark

Καὶ διαγενομένου τοῦ σαββάτου [ἡ] Μαρία ἡ Μαγδαληνὴ καὶ Μαρία ἡ [τοῦ] Ἰακώβου καὶ Σαλώμη ἠγόρασαν ἀρώματα ἱνα ἐλθοῦσαι ἀλείψωσιν αὐτόν.

Et cum transisset sabbatum, Maria Magdalene, et Maria Jacobi, et Salome emerunt aromata ut venientes ungerent Jesum.

1 და ვითარცა გარდაჴდა შაბათი იგი, მარიამ მაგდალენელმან და მარიამ იაკობისმან და სალომე იყიდეს ნელსაცხებელი, რაჲთა მოვიდენ და სცხონ მას.

And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

καὶ λίαν πρωὶ [τῇ] μιᾷ των σαββάτων ἔρχονται ἐπὶ τὸ μνημεῖον ἀνατείλαντος τοῦ ἡλίου.

Et valde mane una sabbatorum, veniunt ad monumentum, orto jam sole.

2 და ნიად განთიადსა მას ერთშაბათისასა მოვიდეს საფლავსა მას ზედა მერმეცა აღმოსლვასა ოდენ მზისასა.

And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

καὶ ἔλεγον πρὸς ἑαυτάς Τίς ἀποκυλίσει ἡμῖν τὸν λίθον ἐκ τῆς θύρας τοῦ μνημείου;

Et dicebant ad invicem: Quis revolvet nobis lapidem ab ostio monumenti?

3 და იტყოდეს ურთიერთას: ვინ გარდაგჳგორვოს ჩუენ ლოდი იგი კარისა მისგან საფლავისა?

And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?

καὶ ἀναβλέψασαι θεωροῦσιν ὅτι ἀνακεκύλισται ὁ λίθος, ἦν γὰρ μέγας σφόδρα.

Et respicientes viderunt revolutum lapidem. Erat quippe magnus valde.

4 და მიჰხედეს და იხილეს, რამეთუ გარდაგორვებულ იყო ლოდი იგი, რომელი იყო დიდ ფრიად.

And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

καὶ εἰσελθοῦσαι εἰς τὸ μνημεῖον εἶδον νεανίσκον καθήμενον ἐν τοῖς δεξιοῖς περιβεβλημένον στολὴν λευκήν, καὶ ἐξεθαμβήθησαν.

Et introëuntes in monumentum viderunt juvenem sedentem in dextris, coopertum stola candida, et obstupuerunt.

5 და შე-რაჲ-ვიდეს საფლავსა მას, იხილეს ჭაბუკი მჯდომარე მარჯუენით კერძო, შემოსილი სამოსლითა სპეტაკითა, და განჰკრთეს.

And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

ὁ δὲ λέγει αὐταῖς Μὴ ἐκθαμβεῖσθε: Ἰησοῦν ζητεῖτε τὸν Ναζαρηνὸν τὸν ἐσταυρωμένον: ἠγέρθη, οὐκ ἔστιν ὧδε: ἴδε ὁ τόπος ὅπου ἔθηκαν αὐτόν:

Qui dicit illis: Nolite expavescere: Jesum quæritis Nazarenum, crucifixum: surrexit, non est hic, ecce locus ubi posuerunt eum.

6 ხოლო მან ჰრქუა მათ: ნუ განჰკრთებით! იესუს ეძიებთ ნაზარეველსა, ჯუარ-ცუმულსა; აღდგა, არა არს აქა. აჰა ადგილი, სადა დადვეს იგი.

And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

ἀλλὰ ὑπάγετε εἴπατε τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ τῷ Πέτρῳ ὅτι Προάγει ὑμᾶς εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν: ἐκεῖ αὐτὸν ὄψεσθε, καθὼς εἶπεν ὑμῖν.

Sed ite, dicite discipulis ejus, et Petro, quia præcedit vos in Galilæam: ibi eum videbitis, sicut dixit vobis.

7 არამედ წარვედით და უთხართ მოწაფეთა მისთა და პეტრეს, ვითარმედ: აჰა ესერა წინა-გიძღჳს თქუენ გალილეას, მუნ იხილოთ იგი, ვითარცა გრქუა თქუენ.

But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

καὶ ἐξελθοῦσαι ἔφυγον ἀπὸ τοῦ μνημείου, εἶχεν γὰρ αὐτὰς τρόμος καὶ ἔκστασις: καὶ οὐδενὶ οὐδὲν εἶπαν, ἐφοβοῦντο γάρ: * * * * * *

At illæ exeuntes, fugerunt de monumento: invaserat enim eas tremor et pavor: et nemini quidquam dixerunt: timebant enim.

8 და იმათ ვითარცა ესმა ესე, გამოვიდეს და ივლტოდეს მიერ საფლავით, რამეთუ შეძრწუნებულ იყვნეს და დაკჳრვებულ და არარაჲ ვის უთხრეს, რამეთუ ეშინოდა.

And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.

⟦Ἀναστὰς δὲ πρωὶ πρώτῃ σαββάτου ἐφάνη πρῶτον Μαρίᾳ τῇ Μαγδαληνῇ, παρ᾽ ἧς ἐκβεβλήκει ἑπτὰ δαιμόνια.

Surgens autem mane prima sabbati, apparuit primo Mariæ Magdalene, de qua ejecerat septem dæmonia.

9 ხოლო აღ-რაჲ-დგა განთიად პირველსა მას შაბათსა, ეჩუენა პირველად მარიამს მაგდალენელსა, რომლისაგან განსრულ იყვნეს შჳდნი ეშმაკნი.

Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

ἐκείνη πορευθεῖσα ἀπήγγειλεν τοῖς μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ γενομένοις πενθοῦσι καὶ κλαίουσιν:

Illa vadens nuntiavit his, qui cum eo fuerant, lugentibus et flentibus.

10 იგი წარვიდა და უთხრა მის თანა მყოფთა მათ, რომელნი იგლოვდეს და ტიროდეს.

And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

κἀκεῖνοι ἀκούσαντες ὅτι ζῇ καὶ ἐθεάθη ὑπ᾽ αὐτῆς ἠπίστησαν.

Et illi audientes quia viveret, et visus esset ab ea, non crediderunt.

11 და მათ რაჲ ესმა, რამეთუ ცხოველ არს და ეჩუენა, მათ არა ჰრწმენა.

And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

Μετὰ δὲ ταῦτα δυσὶν ἐξ αὐτῶν περιπατοῦσιν ἐφανερώθη ἐν ἑτέρᾳ μορφῇ πορευομένοις εἰς ἀγρόν:

Post hæc autem duobus ex his ambulantibus ostensus est in alia effigie, euntibus in villam:

12 ხოლო ამისა შემდგომად ორთა მათგანთა სლვასა შინა გამოეცხადა სხჳთა ხატითა, მი-რაჲ-ვიდოდეს დაბასა.

After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.

κἀκεῖνοι ἀπελθόντες ἀπήγγειλαν τοῖς λοιποῖς: οὐδὲ ἐκείνοις ἐπίστευσαν.

et illi euntes nuntiaverunt ceteris: nec illis crediderunt.

13 და იგინი მოვიდეს და უთხრეს სხუათა მათ, და არცა მათი ჰრწმენა.

And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.

Ὕστερον [δὲ] ἀνακειμένοις αὐτοῖς τοῖς ἕνδεκα ἐφανερώθη, καὶ ὠνείδισεν τὴν ἀπιστίαν αὐτῶν καὶ σκληροκαρδίαν ὅτι τοῖς θεασαμένοις αὐτὸν ἐγηγερμένον [ἐκ νεκρῶν] οὐκ ἐπίστευσαν,

Novissime recumbentibus illis undecim apparuit: et exprobravit incredulitatem eorum et duritiam cordis: quia iis, qui viderant eum resurrexisse, non crediderunt.

14 უკუანაჲსკნელ მსხდომარეთა ათერთმეტთა მათ ეჩუენა და აყუედრა ურწმუნოებაჲ მათი და გულ-ფიცხელობაჲ, რამეთუ რომელთა იგი იხილეს აღდგომილი, მათი არა ჰრწმენა.

Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Πορευθέντες εἰς τὸν κόσμον ἅπαντα κηρύξατε τὸ εὐαγγέλιον πάσῃ τῇ κτίσει.

Et dixit eis: Euntes in mundum universum prædicate Evangelium omni creaturæ.

15 და ჰრქუა მათ: წარვედით ყოველსა სოფელსა და უქადაგეთ სახარებაჲ ესე ყოველსა დაბადებულსა.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

ὁ πιστεύσας καὶ βαπτισθεὶς σωθήσεται, ὁ δὲ ἀπιστήσας κατακριθήσεται.

Qui crediderit, et baptizatus fuerit, salvus erit: qui vero non crediderit, condemnabitur.

16 რომელსა ჰრწმენეს და ნათელ-იღოს, ცხოვნდეს; და რომელსა არა ჰრწმენეს, დაისაჯოს.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

σημεῖα δὲ τοῖς πιστεύσασιν ἀκολουθήσει ταῦτα, ἐν τῶ ὀνόματί μου δαιμόνια ἐκβαλοῦσιν, γλώσσαις λαλήσουσιν,

Signa autem eos qui crediderint, hæc sequentur: in nomine meo dæmonia ejicient: linguis loquentur novis:

17 ხოლო სასწაული მორწმუნეთა მათ ესე შეუდგეს: სახელითა ჩემითა ეშმაკთა განასხმიდენ, ენათა ახალთა იტყოდიან,

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

[καὶ ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν] ὄφεις ἀροῦσιν κἂν θανάσιμόν τι πίωσιν οὐ μὴ αὐτοὺς βλάψῃ, ἐπὶ ἀρρώστους χεῖρας ἐπιθήσουσιν καὶ καλῶς ἕξουσιν.

serpentes tollent: et si mortiferum quid biberint, non eis nocebit: super ægros manus imponent, et bene habebunt.

18 გუელთა შეიპყრობდენ; დაღათუ სასიკუდინე რაჲმე სუან, არარაჲ ავნოს მათ; სნეულთა ზედა ჴელსა დასდებდენ, და განცოცხლდებოდიან.

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Ὁ μὲν οὖν κύριος [Ἰησοῦς] μετὰ τὸ λαλῆσαι αὐτοῖς “ἀνελήμφθη εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν” καὶ “ἐκάθισεν ἐκ δεξιῶν τοῦ θεοῦ.”

Et Dominus quidem Jesus postquam locutus est eis, assumptus est in cælum, et sedet a dextris Dei.

19 ხოლო უფალი შემდგომად სიტყუათა ამათ მათდა მიმართ ამაღლდა ზეცად და დაჯდა მარჯუენით ღმრთისა.

So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

ἐκεῖνοι δὲ ἐξελθόντες ἐκήρυξαν πανταχοῦ, τοῦ κυρίου συνεργοῦντος καὶ τὸν λόγον βεβαιοῦντος διὰ τῶν ἐπακολουθούντων σημείων. ⟧

Illi autem profecti prædicaverunt ubique, Domino cooperante, et sermonem confirmante, sequentibus signis.

20 ხოლო იგინი გამოვიდეს და ქადაგებდეს ყოველსა ქუეყანასა უფლისა შეწევნითა და სიტყჳსა ამის დამტკიცებითა მის მიერ, რომელნი-იგი შეუდგეს მას სასწაულნი.

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
