Προσέχετε δὲ τὴν δικαιοσύνην ὑμῶν μὴ ποιεῖν ἔμπροσθεν τῶν ἀνθρώπων πρὸς τὸ θεαθῆναι αὐτοῖς: εἰ δὲ μήγε, μισθὸν οὐκ ἔχετε παρὰ τῷ πατρὶ ὑμῶν τῷ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς.

Attendite, ne iustitiam vestram faciatis coram hominibus, ut vi deamini ab eis; alioquin mercedem non habetis apud Patrem vestrum, qui in caelis est.

1 ეკრძალენით ქველის-საქმესა თქუენსა, რაჲთა არა ჰყოთ წინაშე კაცთა სახილველად მათა; უკუეთუ არა, სასყიდელი არა გაქუნდეს მამისა თქუენისაგან ზეცათაჲსა.

1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

Ὅταν οὖν ποιῇς ἐλεημοσύνην, μὴ σαλπίσῃς ἔμπροσθέν σου, ὥσπερ οἱ ὑποκριταὶ ποιοῦσιν ἐν ταῖς συναγωγαῖς καὶ ἐν ταῖς ῥύμαις, ὅπως δοξασθῶσιν ὑπὸ τῶν ἀνθρώπων: ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ἀπέχουσιν τὸν μισθὸν αὐτῶν.

Cum ergo facies eleemosynam, noli tuba canere ante te, sicut hypocritae faciunt in synagogis et in vicis, ut honorificentur ab hominibus. Amen dico vobis: Receperunt mercedem suam.

2 ხოლო რაჟამს იქმოდი ქველის-საქმესა, ნუ ჰქადაგებ წინაშე შენსა, ვითარცა-იგი ორგულთა ყვიან შესაკრებელთა მათთა და უბანთა ზედა, რაჲთა იდიდნენ კაცთაგან. ამენ გეტყჳ თქუენ: მიუღებიეს სასყიდელი მათი.

2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

σοῦ δὲ ποιοῦντος ἐλεημοσύνην μὴ γνώτω ἡ ἀριστερά σου τί ποιεῖ ἡ δεξιά σου,

Te autem faciente eleemosynam, nesciat sinistra tua quid faciat dextera tua,

3 ხოლო შენ რაჟამს ჰყოფდე ქველის-საქმესა, ნუ სცნობნ მარცხენაჲ შენი, რასა იქმოდის მარჯუენაჲ შენი.

3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

ὅπως ᾖ σου ἡ ἐλεημοσύνη ἐν τῷ κρυπτῷ: καὶ ὁ πατήρ σου ὁ βλέπων ἐν τῷ κρυπτῷ ἀποδώσει σοι.

ut sit eleemosyna tua in abscondito, et Pater tuus, qui videt in abscondito, reddet tibi.

4 რაჲთა იყოს ქველის-საქმე შენი ფარულად; და მამამან შენმან, რომელი ჰხედავს დაფარულთა, მოგაგოს შენ ცხადად.

4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

Καὶ ὅταν προσεύχησθε, οὐκ ἔσεσθε ὡς οἱ ὑποκριταί: ὅτι φιλοῦσιν ἐν ταῖς συναγωγαῖς καὶ ἐν ταῖς γωνίαις τῶν πλατειῶν ἑστῶτες προσεύχεσθαι, ὅπως φανῶσιν τοῖς ἀνθρώποις: ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ἀπέχουσι τὸν μισθὸν αὐτῶν.

Et cum oratis, non eritis sicut hypocritae, qui amant in synagogis et in angulis platearum stantes orare, ut videantur ab hominibus. Amen dico vobis: Receperunt mercedem suam.

5 და რაჟამს ილოცვიდე, არა იყო ეგრე, ვითარცა-იგი ორგულნი, რამეთუ უყუარნ შესაკრებელთა შორის და უბანთა ზედა დგომაჲ და ლოცვაჲ, რაჲთა უჩუენონ კაცთა. ამენ გეტყჳ თქუენ: მიუღებიეს სასყიდელი მათი.

5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

σὺ δὲ ὅταν προσεύχῃ, “εἴσελθε εἰς τὸ ταμεῖόν σου καὶ κλείσας τὴν θύραν σου πρόσευξαι” τῷ πατρί σου τῷ ἐν τῷ κρυπτῷ: καὶ ὁ πατήρ σου ὁ βλέπων ἐν τῷ κρυπτῷ ἀποδώσει σοι.

Tu autem cum orabis, intra in cubiculum tuum et, clauso ostio tuo, ora Patrem tuum, qui est in abscondito; et Pater tuus, qui videt in abscondito, reddet tibi.

6 ხოლო შენ რაჟამს ილოცვიდე, შევედ საუნჯესა შენსა და დაჰჴაშ კარი შენი და ილოცე მამისა შენისა მიმართ ფარულად; და მამაჲ შენი რომელი ჰხედავს დაფარულთა, მოგაგოს შენ ცხადად.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Προσευχόμενοι δὲ μὴ βατταλογήσητε ὥσπερ οἱ ἐθνικοί, δοκοῦσιν γὰρ ὅτι ἐν τῇ πολυλογίᾳ αὐτῶν εἰσακουσθήσονται:

Orantes autem nolite multum loqui sicut ethnici; putant enim quia in multiloquio suo exaudiantur.

7 და რაჟამს ილოცვიდეთ, ნუ მრავალსა იტყჳთ, ვითარცა-იგი წარმართთაგანი, რამეთუ ჰგონებედ, ვითარმედ მრავლის-მეტყუელებითა მათითა ისმინოს მათი.

7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

μὴ οὖν ὁμοιωθῆτε αὐτοῖς, οἶδεν γὰρ ὁ θεὸς ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὧν χρείαν ἔχετε πρὸ τοῦ ὑμᾶς αἰτῆσαι αὐτόν.

Nolite ergo assimilari eis; scit enim Pater vester, quibus opus sit vobis, antequam petatis eum.

8 ხოლო თქუენ ნუ ემსგავსებით მათ, რამეთუ იცის მამამან თქუენმან, რაჲ-იგი გიჴმს თქუენ, ვიდრე თხოვადმდე თქუენდა მისგან.

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Οὕτως οὖν προσεύχεσθε ὑμεῖς ‘ Πάτερ ἡμῶν ὁ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς: Ἁγιασθήτω τὸ ὄνομά σου,

Sic ergo vos orabitis: Pater noster, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum,

9 ხოლო თქუენ ესრეთ ილოცევდით: მამაო ჩუენო, რომელი ხარ ცათა შინა, წმიდა იყავნ სახელი შენი,

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

ἐλθάτω ἡ βασιλεία σου, γενηθήτω τὸ θέλημά σου, ὡς ἐν οὐρανῷ καὶ ἐπὶ γῆς:

adveniat regnum tuum, fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo, et in terra.

10 მოვედინ სუფევაჲ შენი, იყავნ ნებაჲ შენი, ვითარცა ცათა შინა, ეგრეცა ქუეყანასა ზედა.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Τὸν ἄρτον ἡμῶν τὸν ἐπιούσιον δὸς ἡμῖν σήμερον:

Panem nostrum supersubstantialem da nobis hodie;

11 პური ჩუენი არსობისაჲ მომეც ჩუენ დღეს

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

καὶ ἄφες ἡμῖν τὰ ὀφειλήματα ἡμῶν, ὡς καὶ ἡμεῖς ἀφήκαμεν τοῖς ὀφειλέταις ἡμῶν:

et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris;

12 და მომიტევენ ჩუენ თანა-ნადებნი ჩუენნი, ვითარცა ჩუენ მიუტევებთ თანამდებთა მათ ჩუენთა,

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

καὶ μὴ εἰσενέγκῃς ἡμᾶς εἰς πειρασμόν, ἀλλὰ ῥῦσαι ἡμᾶς ἀπὸ τοῦ πονηροῦ. ’

et ne inducas nos in tentationem, sed libera nos a Malo.

13 და ნუ შემიყვანებ ჩუენ განსაცდელსა, არამედ მიჴსნენ ჩუენ ბოროტისაგან, რამეთუ შენი არს სუფევაჲ და ძალი და დიდებაჲ საუკუნეთა მიმართ. ამენ.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Ἐὰν γὰρ ἀφῆτε τοῖς ἀνθρώποις τὰ παραπτώματα αὐτῶν, ἀφήσει καὶ ὑμῖν ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος:

Si enim dimiseritis hominibus peccata eorum, dimittet et vobis Pater vester caelestis;

14 რამეთუ უკუეთუ მიუტევნეთ თქუენ კაცთა შეცოდებანი მათნი, მოგიტევნეს თქუენცა მამამან თქუენმან ზეცათამან.

14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ἀφῆτε τοῖς ἀνθρώποις τὰ παραπτώματα αὐτῶν, οὐδὲ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ἀφήσει τὰ παραπτώματα ὑμῶν.

si autem non dimiseritis hominibus, nec Pater vester dimittet peccata vestra.

15 ხოლო უკუეთუ არა მიუტევნეთ კაცთა შეცოდებანი მათნი, არცა მამამან თქუენმან მოგიტევნეს თქუენ შეცოდებანი თქუენნი.

15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Ὅταν δὲ νηστεύητε, μὴ γίνεσθε ὡς οἱ ὑποκριταὶ σκυθρωποί, ἀφανίζουσιν γὰρ τὰ πρόσωπα αὐτῶν ὅπως φανῶσιν τοῖς ἀνθρώποις νηστεύοντες: ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ἀπέχουσιν τὸν μισθὸν αὐτῶν.

Cum autem ieiunatis, nolite fieri sicut hypocritae tristes; demoliuntur enim facies suas, ut pareant hominibus ieiunantes. Amen dico vobis: Receperunt mercedem suam.

16 და რაჟამს იმარხვიდეთ, ნუ იყოფით, ვითარცა-იგი ორგულნი, მწუხარე, რამეთუ განირყუნნიან პირნი მათნი, რაჲთა ეჩუენნენ კაცთა მმარხველად. ამენ გეტყჳ თქუენ: მიუღებიეს სასყიდელი მათი.

16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

σὺ δὲ νηστεύων ἄλειψαί σου τὴν κεφαλὴν καὶ τὸ πρόσωπόν σου νίψαι,

Tu autem cum ieiunas, unge caput tuum et faciem tuam lava,

17 ხოლო შენ რაჟამს იმარხვიდე, იცხე თავი შენი და დაიბანე პირი შენი,

17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;

ὅπως μὴ φανῇς τοῖς ἀνθρώποις νηστεύων ἀλλὰ τῷ πατρί σου τῷ ἐν τῷ κρυφαίῳ: καὶ ὁ πατήρ σου ὁ βλέπων ἐν τῷ κρυφαίῳ ἀποδώσει σοι.

ne videaris hominibus ieiunans sed Patri tuo, qui est in abscondito; et Pater tuus, qui videt in abscondito, reddet tibi.

18 რაჲთა არა ეჩუენო კაცთა მმარხველად, არამედ მამასა შენსა დაფარულად; და მამამან შენმან, რომელი ხედავს დაფარულთა, მოგაგოს შენ.

18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

Μὴ θησαυρίζετε ὑμῖν θησαυροὺς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, ὅπου σὴς καὶ βρῶσις ἀφανίζει, καὶ ὅπου κλέπται διορύσσουσιν καὶ κλέπτουσιν:

Nolite thesaurizare vobis thesauros in terra, ubi aerugo et tinea demolitur, et ubi fures effodiunt et furantur;

19 ნუ იუნჯებთ თქუენ საუნჯეთა ქუეყანასა ზედა, სადა მღილმან და მჭამელმან განრყუნის, და სადა მპარავთა დათხარიან და განიპარიან.

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

θησαυρίζετε δὲ ὑμῖν θησαυροὺς ἐν οὐρανῷ, ὅπου οὔτε σὴς οὔτε βρῶσις ἀφανίζει, καὶ ὅπου κλέπται οὐ διορύσσουσιν οὐδὲ κλέπτουσιν:

thesaurizate autem vobis thesauros in caelo, ubi neque aerugo neque tinea demolitur, et ubi fures non effodiunt nec furantur;

20 ხოლო თქუენ იუნჯებდით საუნჯეთა ცათა შინა, სადა არცა მღილმან, არცა მჭამელმან განრყუნის, და სადა არცა მპარავთა დათხარიან და განიპარიან.

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

ὅπου γάρ ἐστιν ὁ θησαυρός σου, ἐκεῖ ἔσται καὶ ἡ καρδία σου.

ubi enim est thesaurus tuus, ibi erit et cor tuum.

21 რამეთუ სადაცა არნ საუნჯე თქუენი, მუნცა იყოს გული თქუენი.

21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Ὁ λύχνος τοῦ σώματός ἐστιν ὁ ὀφθαλμός. ἐὰν οὖν ᾖ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου ἁπλοῦς, ὅλον τὸ σῶμά σου φωτινὸν ἔσται:

Lucerna corporis est oculus. Si ergo fuerit oculus tuus simplex, totum corpus tuum lucidum erit;

22 სანთელი გუამისაჲ არს თუალი. უკუეთუ თუალი შენი განმარტებულ იყოს, ყოველი გუამი შენი ნათელ იყოს.

22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

ἐὰν δὲ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου πονηρὸς ᾖ, ὅλον τὸ σῶμά σου σκοτινὸν ἔσται. εἰ οὖν τὸ φῶς τὸ ἐν σοὶ σκότος ἐστίν, τὸ σκότος πόσον.

si autem oculus tuus nequam fuerit, totum corpus tuum tenebrosum erit. Si ergo lumen, quod in te est, tene brae sunt, tenebrae quantae erunt!

23 უკუეთუ თუალი შენი ბოროტ იყოს, ყოველი გუამი შენი ბნელ იყოს. უკუეთუ ნათელი იგი შენ შორის ბნელ არს, ბნელი იგი რაოდენ-მე?

23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Οὐδεὶς δύναται δυσὶ κυρίοις δουλεύειν: ἢ γὰρ τὸν ἕνα μισήσει καὶ τὸν ἕτερον ἀγαπήσει, ἢ ἑνὸς ἀνθέξεται καὶ τοῦ ἑτέρου καταφρονήσει: οὐ δύνασθε θεῷ δουλεύειν καὶ μαμωνᾷ.

Nemo potest duobus dominis servire: aut enim unum odio habebit et alterum diliget, aut unum sustinebit et alterum contemnet; non potestis Deo servire et mammonae.

24 ვერვის ჴელ-ეწიფების ორთა უფალთა მონებად: ანუ ერთი იგი მოიძულოს და სხუაჲ იგი შეიყუაროს, ანუ ერთისაჲ მის თავს-იდვას და ერთი იგი შეურაცხ-ყოს. ვერ ჴელ-ეწიფების ღმრთისა მონებად და მამონაჲსა.

24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Διὰ τοῦτο λέγω ὑμῖν, μὴ μεριμνᾶτε τῇ ψυχῇ ὑμῶν τί φάγητε ἢ τί πίητε, μηδὲ τῷ σώματι ὑμῶν τί ἐνδύσησθε: οὐχὶ ἡ ψυχὴ πλεῖόν ἐστι τῆς τροφῆς καὶ τὸ σῶμα τοῦ ἐνδύματος;

Ideo dico vobis: Ne solliciti sitis animae vestrae quid manducetis, neque corpori vestro quid induamini. Nonne anima plus est quam esca, et corpus quam vestimentum?

25 ამისთჳს გეტყჳ თქუენ: ნუ ჰზრუნავთ სულისა თქუენისათჳს, რაჲ სჭამოთ და რაჲ ჰსუათ; ნუცა ჴორცთა თქუენთათჳს, რაჲ შეიმოსოთ. ანუ არა სული უფროჲს არს საზრდელისა და გუამი – სამოსლისა?

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

ἐμβλέψατε εἰς τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ὅτι οὐ σπείρουσιν οὐδὲ θερίζουσιν οὐδὲ συνάγουσιν εἰς ἀποθήκας, καὶ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος τρέφει αὐτά: οὐχ ὑμεῖς μᾶλλον διαφέρετε αὐτῶν;

Respicite volatilia caeli, quoniam non serunt neque metunt neque congregant in horrea, et Pater vester caelestis pascit illa. Nonne vos magis pluris estis illis?

26 მიჰხედენით მფრინველთა ცისათა, რამეთუ არა სთესვენ, არცა მკიან, არცა შეიკრებენ საუნჯეთა, და მამაჲ თქუენი ზეცათაჲ ზრდის მათ. არა-მე უფროჲს თქუენ უმჯობეს ხართა მფრინველთა?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

τίς δὲ ἐξ ὑμῶν μεριμνῶν δύναται προσθεῖναι ἐπὶ τὴν ἡλικίαν αὐτοῦ πῆχυν ἕνα;

Quis autem vestrum cogitans potest adicere ad aetatem suam cubitum unum?

27 ანუ ვინ-მე თქუენგანი ზრუნვიდეს და შეუძლოს შეძინებად ჰასაკსა თჳსსა წყრთა ერთ?

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

καὶ περὶ ἐνδύματος τί μεριμνᾶτε; καταμάθετε τὰ κρίνα τοῦ ἀγροῦ πῶς αὐξάνουσιν: οὐ κοπιῶσιν οὐδὲ νήθουσιν:

Et de vestimento quid solliciti estis? Considerate lilia agri quomodo crescunt: non laborant neque nent.

28 და სამოსლისათჳს რაჲსა ჰზრუნავთ? განიცადენით შროშანნი ველისანი, ვითარ-იგი აღორძნდის! არა შურებინ, არცა სთავნ.

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

λέγω δὲ ὑμῖν ὅτι οὐδὲ Σολομὼν ἐν πάσῃ τῇ δόξῃ αὐτοῦ περιεβάλετο ὡς ἓν τούτων.

Dico autem vobis quoniam nec Salomon in omni gloria sua coopertus est sicut unum ex istis.

29 ხოლო გეტყჳ თქუენ, რამეთუ არცაღა სოლომონ ყოველსა მას დიდებასა მისსა შეიმოსა, ვითარცა ერთი ამათგანი.

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

εἰ δὲ τὸν χόρτον τοῦ ἀγροῦ σήμερον ὄντα καὶ αὔριον εἰς κλίβανον βαλλόμενον ὁ θεὸς οὕτως ἀμφιέννυσιν, οὐ πολλῷ μᾶλλον ὑμᾶς, ὀλιγόπιστοι;

Si autem fenum agri, quod hodie est et cras in clibanum mittitur, Deus sic vestit, quanto magis vos, modicae fidei?

30 უკუეთუ თივაჲ იგი ველისაჲ, რომელი დღეს არს და ხვალე თორნესა შთაეგზნის, ღმერთმან ესრეთ შემოსის, არა-მე უფროჲს თქუენა, მცირედ-მორწმუნენო?

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

μὴ οὖν μεριμνήσητε λέγοντες Τί φάγωμεν; ἤ Τί πίωμεν; ἤ Τί περιβαλώμεθα;

Nolite ergo solliciti esse dicentes: “Quid manducabimus?”, aut: “Quid bibemus?”, aut: “Quo operiemur?”.

31 ნუ ჰზრუნავთ და იტყჳთ, რაჲ ვჭამოთ, ანუ რაჲ ვსუათ, ანუ რაჲ შევიმოსოთ?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

πάντα γὰρ ταῦτα τὰ ἔθνη ἐπιζητοῦσιν: οἶδεν γὰρ ὁ πατὴρ ὑμῶν ὁ οὐράνιος ὅτι χρῄζετε τούτων ἁπάντων.

Haec enim omnia gentes inquirunt; scit enim Pater vester caelestis quia his omnibus indigetis.

32 რამეთუ ამას ყოველსა წარმართნი ეძიებენ, რამეთუ იცის მამამან თქუენმან, რაჲ გიჴმს ამათ ყოველთაგანი.

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

ζητεῖτε δὲ πρῶτον τὴν βασιλείαν καὶ τὴν δικαιοσύνην αὐτοῦ, καὶ ταῦτα πάντα προστεθήσεται ὑμῖν.

Quaerite autem primum regnum Dei et iustitiam eius, et haec omnia adicientur vobis.

33 ხოლო თქუენ ეძიებდით პირველად სასუფეველსა ღმრთისასა და სიმართლესა მისსა, და ესე ყოველი შეგეძინოს თქუენ.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

μὴ οὖν μεριμνήσητε εἰς τὴν αὔριον, ἡ γὰρ αὔριον μεριμνήσει αὑτῆς: ἀρκετὸν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἡ κακία αὐτῆς.

Nolite ergo esse solliciti in crastinum; crastinus enim dies sollicitus erit sibi ipse. Sufficit diei malitia sua.

34 ნუ ჰზრუნავთ ხვალისათჳს, რამეთუ ხვალემან იზრუნოს თავისა თჳსისა. კმა არს დღისა მის სიბოროტე თჳსი.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
