თავი ოცდამეერთე

Καὶ ὅτε ἤγγισαν εἰς Ἰεροσόλυμα καὶ ἦλθον εἰς Βηθφαγὴ εἰς τὸ Ὄρος τῶν Ἐλαιῶν, τότε Ἰησοῦς ἀπέστειλεν δύο μαθητὰς

Et cum appropinquassent Hierosolymis et venissent Bethfage, ad montem Oliveti, tunc Iesus misit duos discipulos

1 და ვითარცა მიეახლნეს იერუსალჱმდ და მოვიდეს ბეთბაგედ და ბეთანიად, მთასა მას ზეთისხილთასა, მაშინ წარავლინნა იესუ ორნი მოწაფეთა მისთაგანნი

1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

λέγων αὐτοῖς Πορεύεσθε εἰς τὴν κώμην τὴν κατέναντι ὑμῶν, καὶ εὐθὺς εὑρήσετε ὄνον δεδεμένην καὶ πῶλον μετ᾽ αὐτῆς: λύσαντες ἀγάγετέ μοι.

dicens eis: “Ite in castellum, quod contra vos est, et statim invenietis asinam alligatam et pullum cum ea; solvite et adducite mihi.

2 და ჰრქუა მათ: წარვედით დაბასა მაგას, რომელ არს წინაშე თქუენსა, და მეყსეულად ჰპოოთ ვირი დაბმული და კიცჳ მის თანა; აჰჴსენით და მომგუარეთ მე იგი.

2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

καὶ ἐάν τις ὑμῖν εἴπῃ τι, ἐρεῖτε ὅτι Ὁ κύριος αὐτῶν χρείαν ἔχει: εὐθὺς δὲ ἀποστελεῖ αὐτούς.

Et si quis vobis aliquid dixerit, dicite: “Dominus eos necessarios habet”, et confestim dimittet eos”.

3 და უკუეთუ ვინმე გრქუას რაჲმე თქუენ, არქუთ, ვითარმედ: უფალსა უჴმან ეგე, და მეყსეულად მოავლინნეს იგინი.

3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.

Τοῦτο δὲ γέγονεν ἵνα πληρωθῇ τὸ ῥηθὲν διὰ τοῦ προφήτου λέγοντος

Hoc autem factum est, ut impleretur, quod dictum est per prophetam dicentem:

4 ესე ყოველი იქმნა, რაჲთა აღესრულოს სიტყუაჲ იგი წინაწარმეტყუელისაჲ, რომელ თქუა:

4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

“ Εἴπατε τῇ θυγατρὶ Σιών Ἰδοὺ ὁ βασιλεύς σου ἔρχεταί σοι πραῢς καὶ ἐπιβεβηκὼς ἐπὶ ὄνον καὶ ἐπὶ πῶλον υἱὸν ὑποζυγίου.”

“Dicite filiae Sion: Ecce Rex tuus venit tibi, mansuetus et sedens super asinam et super pullum filium subiugalis”.

5 არქუთ ასულსა სიონისასა: აჰა ესერა მეუფე შენი მოვალს შენდა მშჳდი და ზე ზის იგი ვირსა და კიცუსა, ნაშობსა კარაულისასა.

5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

Πορευθέντες δὲ οἱ μαθηταὶ καὶ ποιήσαντες καθὼς συνέταξεν αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἤγαγον τὴν ὄνον καὶ τὸν πῶλον,

Euntes autem discipuli fecerunt, sicut praecepit illis Iesus,

6 ხოლო მოწაფენი იგი წარვიდეს და ყვეს ეგრეთ, ვითარცა უბრძანა მათ იესუ.

6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

καὶ ἐπέθηκαν ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶν τὰ ἱμάτια, καὶ ἐπεκάθισεν ἐπάνω αὐτῶν.

et adduxerunt asinam et pullum; et imposuerunt super eis vestimenta sua, et sedit super ea.

7 და მოჰგუარეს ვირი იგი და კიცჳ მის თანა და დაასხეს მას ზედა სამოსელი, და დაჯდა მას ზედა.

7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.

ὁ δὲ πλεῖστος ὄχλος ἔστρωσαν ἑαυτῶν τὰ ἱμάτια ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ, ἄλλοι δὲ ἔκοπτον κλάδους ἀπὸ τῶν δένδρων καὶ ἐστρώννυον ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ.

Plurima autem turba straverunt vestimenta sua in via; alii autem caedebant ramos de arboribus et sternebant in via.

8 ხოლო უმრავლესი იგი ერი დაუფენდა სამოსელსა მათსა გზასა ზედა, და სხუანი მოჰკაფდეს რტოებსა ხეთაგან და დაუფენდეს გზასა ზედა.

8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.

οἱ δὲ ὄχλοι οἱ προάγοντες αὐτὸν καὶ οἱ ἀκολουθοῦντες ἔκραζον λέγοντες ‘ Ὡσαννὰ τῷ υἱῷ Δαυείδ: “Εὐλογημένος ὁ ἐρχόμενος ἐν ὀνόματι Κυρίου:” Ὡσαννὰ ἐν τοῖς ὑψίστοις. ’

Turbae autem, quae praecedebant eum et quae sequebantur, clamabant dicentes: “Hosanna filio David! Benedictus, qui venit in nomine Domini! Hosanna in altissimis!”.

9 და ერი იგი, რომელი წინა-უვიდოდა და რომელი უკანა შეუდგა, ღაღადებდეს და იტყოდეს: ოსანა ძესა დავითისსა! კურთხეულ არს მომავალი სახელითა უფლისაჲთა! გუაცხოვნენ ჩუენ, რომელი ხარ მაღალთა შინა!

9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

καὶ εἰσελθόντος αὐτοῦ εἰς Ἰεροσόλυμα ἐσείσθη πᾶσα ἡ

Et cum intrasset Hierosolymam, commota est universa civitas dicens: “Quis est hic?”.

10 და ვითარცა შევიდა იგი იერუსალჱმდ, შეიძრა ქალაქი იგი ყოველი და იტყოდეს: ვინ არს ესე?

10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

πόλις λέγουσα Τίς ἐστιν οὗτος; οἱ δὲ ὄχλοι ἔλεγον Οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ προφήτης Ἰησοῦς ὁ ἀπὸ Ναζαρὲθ τῆς Γαλιλαίας.

Turbae autem dicebant: “Hic est Iesus propheta a Nazareth Galilaeae”.

11 ხოლო ერი იგი ეტყოდა: ესე არს წინაწარმეტყუელი იესუ ნაზარეთით გალილეაჲსაჲთ.

11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

Καὶ εἰσῆλθεν Ἰησοῦς εἰς τὸ ἱερόν, καὶ ἐξέβαλεν πάντας τοὺς πωλοῦντας καὶ ἀγοράζοντας ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ καὶ τὰς τραπέζας τῶν κολλυβιστῶν κατέστρεψεν καὶ τὰς καθέδρας τῶν πωλούντων τὰς περιστεράς,

Et intravit Iesus in templum et eiciebat omnes vendentes et ementes in templo, et mensas nummulariorum evertit et cathedras vendentium columbas,

12 და შევიდა იესუ ტაძარსა მას ღმრთისასა და გამოასხა ყოველი იგი განმსყიდელი და ყოველი, რომელი იყიდდა ტაძარსა მას შინა, და ტაბლები იგი მეკერმეთაჲ მათ დაამჴუა და დასასხდომლები იგი ტრედის-მოფარდულთაჲ მათ დაუქცია.

12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς Γέγραπται “Ὁ οἶκός μου οἶκος προσευχῆς κληθήσεται,” ὑμεῖς δὲ αὐτὸν ποιεῖτε “σπήλαιον λῃστῶν.”

et dicit eis: “Scriptum est: "Domus mea domus orationis vocabitur". Vos autem facitis eam speluncam latronum”.

13 და ჰრქუა მათ: წერილ არს: სახლსა ჩემსა სახლ სალოცველ ეწოდოს, ხოლო თქუენ გიყოფიეს იგი ქუაბ ავაზაკთა.

13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Καὶ προσῆλθον αὐτῷ τυφλοὶ καὶ χωλοὶ ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ, καὶ ἐθεράπευσεν αὐτούς.

Et accesserunt ad eum caeci et claudi in templo, et sanavit eos.

14 და მოუჴდეს მას ბრმანი და მკელობელნი ტაძარსა მას შინა, და განკურნნა იგინი.

14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

Ἰδόντες δὲ οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς τὰ θαυμάσια ἃ ἐποίησεν καὶ τοὺς παῖδας τοὺς κράζοντας ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ καὶ λέγοντας Ὡσαννὰ τῷ υἱῷ Δαυείδ ἠγανάκτησαν καὶ εἶπαν αὐτῷ

Videntes autem principes sacerdotum et scribae mirabilia, quae fecit, et pueros clamantes in templo et dicentes: “Hosanna filio David”, indignati sunt

15 და ვითარცა იხილეს მღდელთ-მოძღუართა მათ და მწიგნობართა, რომელ-იგი ქმნნა სასწაულნი, და ყრმები იგი, რომელ ღაღადებდეს ტაძარსა მას შინა და იტყოდეს: ოსანა ძესა დავითისსა,

15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased,

Ἀκούεις τί οὗτοι λέγουσιν; ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς λέγει αὐτοῖς Ναί: οὐδέποτε ἀνέγνωτε ὅτι “Ἐκ στόματος νηπίων καὶ θηλαζόντων κατηρτίσω αἶνον;”

et dixerunt ei: “Audis quid isti dicant?”. Iesus autem dicit eis: “Utique; numquam legistis: "Ex ore infantium et lactantium perfecisti laudem"?”.

16 განრისხნეს და ჰრქუეს მას: გესმისა, რასა-ესე იტყჳან? ხოლო იესუ ჰრქუა მათ: ჰე; არასადა აღმოგიკითხავსა, ვითარმედ: პირითა ყრმათა ჩჩჳლთა მწოვართაჲთა დაამტკიცე ქებაჲ?

16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

Καὶ καταλιπὼν αὐτοὺς ἐξῆλθεν ἔξω τῆς πόλεως εἰς Βηθανίαν, καὶ ηὐλίσθη ἐκεῖ.

Et relictis illis, abiit foras extra civitatem in Bethaniam ibique mansit.

17 დაუტევნა იგინი და განვიდა გარე ქალაქით ბეთანიად და იქცეოდა მუნ.

17 And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.

Πρωὶ δὲ ἐπαναγαγὼν εἰς τὴν πόλιν ἐπείνασεν.

Mane autem revertens in civitatem, esuriit.

18 და განთიად, მო-რაჲ-ვიდოდა ქალაქად, შეემშია.

18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

καὶ ἰδὼν συκῆν μίαν ἐπὶ τῆς ὁδοῦ ἦλθεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτήν, καὶ οὐδὲν εὗρεν ἐν αὐτῇ εἰ μὴ φύλλα μόνον, καὶ λέγει αὐτῇ Οὐ μηκέτι ἐκ σοῦ καρπὸς γένηται εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα: καὶ ἐξηράνθη παραχρῆμα ἡ συκῆ.

Et videns fici arborem unam secus viam, venit ad eam; et nihil invenit in ea nisi folia tantum et ait illi: “Numquam ex te fructus nascatur in sempiternum”. Et arefacta est continuo ficulnea.

19 და იხილა ლეღჳ ერთი გზასა ზედა და მოვიდა მისა და არარაჲ პოვა მას შინა, გარნა ფურცელი ხოლო. და ჰრქუა მას: ნუღარა იყოფინ ნაყოფი შენგან საუკუნოდ! და განჴმა ლეღჳ იგი მეყსეულად.

19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

καὶ ἰδόντες οἱ μαθηταὶ ἐθαύμασαν λέγοντες Πῶς παραχρῆμα ἐξηράνθη ἡ συκῆ;

Et videntes discipuli mirati sunt dicentes: “Quomodo continuo aruit ficulnea?”.

20 ვითარცა იხილეს მოწაფეთა მათ, დაუკჳრდა და იტყოდეს: ვითარ მეყსეულად განჴმა ლეღჳ იგი!

20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!

ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν, ἐὰν ἔχητε πίστιν καὶ μὴ διακριθῆτε, οὐ μόνον τὸ τῆς συκῆς ποιήσετε, ἀλλὰ κἂν τῷ ὄρει τούτῳ εἴπητε Ἄρθητι καὶ βλήθητι εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν, γενήσεται:

Respondens autem Iesus ait eis: “Amen dico vobis: Si habueritis fidem et non haesitaveritis, non solum de ficulnea facietis, sed et si monti huic dixeritis: “Tolle et iacta te in mare”, fiet.

21 მიუგო იესუ და ჰრქუა მათ: ამენ გეტყჳ თქუენ: უკუეთუ გაქუნდეს სარწმუნოებაჲ და არა შეორგულდეთ, არა ხოლო ლეღჳსაჲ ამის ჰყოთ, არამედ ჰრქუათ-თუ მთასა ამას: აღიფხუერ ამიერ და შთავარდი ზღუასა! – იყოს ეგრე.

21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἂν αἰτήσητε ἐν τῇ προσευχῇ πιστεύοντες λήμψεσθε.

Et omnia, quaecumque petieritis in oratione credentes, accipietis”.

22 და ყოველსა რაოდენსა ითხოვდეთ ლოცვასა შინა სარწმუნოებით, გეყოდ თქუენ.

22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Καὶ ἐλθόντος αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ ἱερὸν προσῆλθαν αὐτῷ διδάσκοντι οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροι τοῦ λαοῦ λέγοντες Ἐν ποίᾳ ἐξουσίᾳ ταῦτα ποιεῖς; καὶ τίς σοι ἔδωκεν τὴν ἐξουσίαν ταύτην;

Et cum venisset in templum, accesserunt ad eum docentem principes sacerdotum et seniores populi dicentes: “In qua potestate haec facis? Et quis tibi dedit hanc potestatem?”.

23 და მო-რაჲ-ვიდა იგი ტაძრად, მოუჴდეს მას მღდელთ-მოძღუარნი იგი და მოხუცებულნი ერისანი, ვითარ-იგი ასწავებდა ერსა, და ჰრქუეს მას: რომლითა ჴელმწიფებითა ამას იქმ, და ვინ მოგცა შენ ჴელმწიფებაჲ ესე?

23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?

ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Ἐρωτήσω ὑμᾶς κἀγὼ λόγον ἕνα, ὃν ἐὰν εἴπητέ μοι κἀγὼ ὑμῖν ἐρῶ ἐν ποίᾳ ἐξουσίᾳ ταῦτα ποιῶ:

Respondens autem Iesus dixit illis: “Interrogabo vos et ego unum sermonem, quem si dixeritis mihi, et ego vobis dicam, in qua potestate haec facio:

24 მიუგო იესუ და ჰრქუა მათ: გკითხო მეცა თქუენ სიტყუაჲ ერთი, რომელი უკუეთუ მითხრათ მე, მეცა გითხრა თქუენ, რომლითა ჴელმწიფებითა ვიქმ ამას.

24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

τὸ βάπτισμα τὸ Ἰωάνου πόθεν ἦν; ἐξ οὐρανοῦ ἢ ἐξ ἀνθρώπων; οἱ δὲ διελογίζοντο ἐν ἑαυτοῖς λέγοντες Ἐὰν εἴπωμεν Ἐξ οὐρανοῦ, ἐρεῖ ἡμῖν Διὰ τί οὖν οὐκ ἐπιστεύσατε αὐτῷ;

Baptismum Ioannis unde erat? A caelo an ex hominibus?”. At illi cogitabant inter se dicentes: “Si dixerimus: “E caelo”, dicet nobis: “Quare ergo non credidistis illi?”;

25 ნათლის-ცემაჲ იოვანესი ვინაჲ იყო: ზეცით ანუ კაცთაგან? ხოლო იგინი განიზრახვიდეს თჳსაგან და იტყოდეს: უკუეთუ ვთქუათ: ზეცით იყო, გურქუას ჩუენ: რაჲსათჳს უკუე არა გრწმენა მისი?

25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?

ἐὰν δὲ εἴπωμεν Ἐξ ἀνθρώπων, φοβούμεθα τὸν ὄχλον, πάντες γὰρ ὡς προφήτην ἔχουσιν τὸν Ἰωάνην:

si autem dixerimus: “Ex hominibus”, timemus turbam; omnes enim habent Ioannem sicut prophetam”.

26 და უკუეთუ ვთქუათ: კაცთაგან, გუეშინის ერისა ამის, რამეთუ ყოველთავე ვითარცა წინაწარმეტყუელი უპყრიეს იოვანე.

26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.

καὶ ἀποκριθέντες τῷ Ἰησοῦ εἶπαν Οὐκ οἴδαμεν. ἔφη αὐτοῖς καὶ αὐτός Οὐδὲ ἐγὼ λέγω ὑμῖν ἐν ποίᾳ ἐξουσίᾳ ταῦτα ποιῶ.

Et respondentes Iesu dixerunt: “Nescimus”. Ait illis et ipse: “Nec ego dico vobis in qua potestate haec facio”.

27 და მიუგეს იესუს და ჰრქუეს: არა უწყით. ჰრქუა მათ მანცა: არცა მე გითხრა თქუენ, რომლითა ჴელმწიფებითა ვიქმ ამას.

27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

Τί δὲ ὑμῖν δοκεῖ; ἄνθρωπος εἶχεν τέκνα δύο. προσελθὼν τῷ πρώτῳ εἶπεν Τέκνον, ὕπαγε σήμερον ἐργάζου ἐν τῷ ἀμπελῶνι:

“Quid autem vobis videtur? Homo quidam habebat duos filios. Et accedens ad primum dixit: “Fili, vade hodie, operare in vinea”.

28 აწ ვითარ ჰგონებთ თქუენ? კაცსა ვისმე ესხნეს ორ ძე; მოვიდა პირველისა მის და ჰრქუა: შვილო, წარვედ დღეს და იქმოდე ვენაჴსა ჩემსა.

28 But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.

ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν Ἐγώ, κύριε: καὶ οὐκ ἀπῆλθεν.

Ille autem respondens ait: “Nolo”; postea autem paenitentia motus abiit.

29 ხოლო მან მიუგო და ჰრქუა: არა მნებავს. ხოლო უკუანაჲსკნელ შეინანა და წარვიდა.

29 He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.

προσελθὼν δὲ τῷ δευτέρῳ εἶπεν ὡσαύτως: ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν Οὐ θέλω: ὕστερον μεταμεληθεὶς ἀπῆλθεν.

Accedens autem ad alterum dixit similiter. At ille respondens ait: “Eo, domine”; et non ivit.

30 და მოუჴდა მეორესა მას და ჰრქუა ეგრეთვე. ხოლო მან მიუგო და ჰრქუა: წარვიდე, უფალო; და არა წარვიდა.

30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.

τίς ἐκ τῶν δύο ἐποίησεν τὸ θέλημα τοῦ πατρός; λέγουσιν Ὁ ὕστερος. λέγει αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς Ἀμὴν λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι οἱ τελῶναι καὶ αἱ πόρναι προάγουσιν ὑμᾶς εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ.

Quis ex duobus fecit voluntatem patris?”. Dicunt: “Primus”. Dicit illis Iesus: “Amen dico vobis: Publicani et meretrices praecedunt vos in regnum Dei.

31 ვინ ორთა ამათგანმან ყო ნებაჲ მამისა თჳსისაჲ? ჰრქუეს მას: პირველმან მან. ჰრქუა მათ იესუ: ამენ გეტყჳ თქუენ, რამეთუ მეზუერენი და მეძავნი წინა-გიძღოდიან თქუენ სასუფეველსა ღმრთისასა.

31 Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

ἦλθεν γὰρ Ἰωάνης πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐν ὁδῷ δικαιοσύνης, καὶ οὐκ ἐπιστεύσατε αὐτῷ: οἱ δὲ τελῶναι καὶ αἱ πόρναι ἐπίστευσαν αὐτῷ: ὑμεῖς δὲ ἰδόντες οὐδὲ μετεμελήθητε ὕστερον τοῦ πιστεῦσαι αὐτῷ.

Venit enim ad vos Ioannes in via iustitiae, et non credidistis ei; publicani autem et meretrices crediderunt ei. Vos autem videntes nec paenitentiam habuistis postea, ut crederetis ei.

32 რამეთუ მოვიდა თქუენდა იოვანე გზითა სიმართლისაჲთა, და არა გრწმენა მისი, ხოლო მეზუერეთა და მეძავთა ჰრწმენა მისი; ხოლო თქუენ იხილეთ და არა შეინანეთ უკუანაჲსკნელ, რაჲთამცა გრწმენა მისი.

32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.

Ἄλλην παραβολὴν ἀκούσατε. Ἄνθρωπος ἦν οἰκοδεσπότης ὅστις “ἐφύτευσεν ἀμπελῶνα καὶ φραγμὸν αὐτῷ περιέθηκεν καὶ ὤρυξεν ἐν αὐτῷ ληνὸν καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν πύργον,” καὶ ἐξέδετο αὐτὸν γεωργοῖς, καὶ ἀπεδήμησεν.

Aliam parabolam audite. Homo erat pater familias, qui plantavit vineam et saepem circumdedit ei et fodit in ea torcular et aedificavit turrim et locavit eam agricolis et peregre profectus est.

33 სხუაჲ იგავი ისმინეთ: კაცი ვინმე იყო სახლისა უფალი, რომელმან დაასხა ვენაჴი და ზღუდე გარე-მოსდვა მას და ქმნა მას შინა საწნეხელი და აღაშენა გოდოლი და მისცა იგი მოქმედთა საქმედ და წარვიდა.

33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:

ὅτε δὲ ἤγγισεν ὁ καιρὸς τῶν καρπῶν, ἀπέστειλεν τοὺς δούλους αὐτοῦ πρὸς τοὺς γεωργοὺς λαβεῖν τοὺς καρποὺς αὐτοῦ.

Cum autem tempus fructuum appropinquasset, misit servos suos ad agricolas, ut acciperent fructus eius.

34 და რაჟამს მოიწია ჟამი ნაყოფთაჲ, მოავლინნა მონანი მისნი მოქმედთა მათ მოღებად ნაყოფისა მისისა.

34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.

καὶ λαβόντες οἱ γεωργοὶ τοὺς δούλους αὐτοῦ ὃν μὲν ἔδειραν, ὃν δὲ ἀπέκτειναν, ὃν δὲ ἐλιθοβόλησαν.

Et agricolae, apprehensis servis eius, alium ceciderunt, alium occiderunt, alium vero lapidaverunt.

35 და შეიპყრნეს მოქმედთა მათ მონანი იგი მისნი, რომელთამე სცეს, რომელნიმე მოსწყჳდეს და რომელთამე ქვაჲ დაჰკრიბეს.

35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

πάλιν ἀπέστειλεν ἄλλους δούλους πλείονας τῶν πρώτων, καὶ ἐποίησαν αὐτοῖς ὡσαύτως.

Iterum misit alios servos plures prioribus, et fecerunt illis similiter.

36 კუალად წარავლინნა სხუანი მონანი, უმრავლესნი პირველთასა, და მათცა ეგრეთვე უყვეს.

36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.

ὕστερον δὲ ἀπέστειλεν πρὸς αὐτοὺς τὸν υἱὸν αὐτοῦ λέγων Ἐντραπήσονται τὸν υἱόν μου.

Novissime autem misit ad eos filium suum dicens: “Verebuntur filium meum”.

37 ხოლო უკუანაჲსკნელ მიუვლინა მათ ძე თჳსი და თქუა: შე-ხოლო თუ-იკდიმონ ძისაგან ჩემისა.

37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

οἱ δὲ γεωργοὶ ἰδόντες τὸν υἱὸν εἶπον ἐν ἑαυτοῖς Οὗτός ἐστιν ὁ κληρονόμος: δεῦτε ἀποκτείνωμεν αὐτὸν καὶ σχῶμεν τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτοῦ:

Agricolae autem videntes filium dixerunt intra se: “Hic est heres. Venite, occidamus eum et habebimus hereditatem eius”.

38 ხოლო ქუეყანის მოქმედთა მათ ვითარცა იხილეს ძე იგი მისი, და თქუეს გულსა მათსა: ესე არს მკჳდრი, მოვედით და მოვკლათ იგი და დავიპყრათ სამკჳდრებელი მისი.

38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.

καὶ λαβόντες αὐτὸν ἐξέβαλον ἔξω τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος καὶ ἀπέκτειναν.

Et apprehensum eum eiecerunt extra vineam et occiderunt.

39 და შეიპყრეს იგი და განიყვანეს გარეშე სავენახისა მის და მოკლეს.

39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.

ὅταν οὖν ἔλθῃ ὁ κύριος τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος, τί ποιήσει τοῖς γεωργοῖς ἐκείνοις;

Cum ergo venerit dominus vineae, quid faciet agricolis illis?”.

40 რაჟამს უკუე მოვიდეს უფალი სავენაჴისაჲ მის, რაჲ-მე უყოს ქუეყანის-მოქმედთა მათ?

40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

λέγουσιν αὐτῷ Κακοὺς κακῶς ἀπολέσει αὐτούς, καὶ τὸν ἀμπελῶνα ἐκδώσεται ἄλλοις γεωργοῖς, οἵτινες ἀποδώσουσιν αὐτῷ τοὺς καρποὺς ἐν τοῖς καιροῖς αὐτῶν. λέγει αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς

Aiunt illi: “Malos male perdet et vineam locabit aliis agricolis, qui reddant ei fructum temporibus suis”.

41 ჰრქუეს მას: ბოროტნი იგი ბოროტად წარწყმიდნეს და ვენაჴი იგი მისცეს სხუათა ქუეყანის-მოქმედთა, რომელთა მოსცენ მას ნაყოფი ჟამსა თჳსსა.

41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

Οὐδέποτε ἀνέγνωτε ἐν ταῖς γραφαῖς “ Λίθον ὃν ἀπεδοκίμασαν οἱ οἰκοδομοῦντες οὗτος ἐγενήθη εἰς κεφαλὴν γωνίας: παρὰ Κυρίου ἐγένετο αὕτη, καὶ ἔστιν θαυμαστὴ ἐν ὀφθαλμοῖς ἡμῶν;”

Dicit illis Iesus: “Numquam legistis in Scripturis: "Lapidem quem reprobaverunt aedificantes, hic factus est in caput anguli; a Domino factum est istud et est mirabile in oculis nostris" ?

42 ჰრქუა მათ იესუ არასადა აღმოგიკითხავსა წიგნთა შინა: ლოდი, რომელ შეურაცხ-ყვეს მაშენებელთა, ესე იქმნა თავ კიდეთა. უფლისა მიერ იყო ესე და არს საკჳრველ წინაშე თუალთა ჩუენთა.

42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

διὰ τοῦτο λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι ἀρθήσεται ἀφ᾽ ὑμῶν ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ δοθήσεται ἔθνει ποιοῦντι τοὺς καρποὺς αὐτῆς.

Ideo dico vobis quia auferetur a vobis regnum Dei et dabitur genti facienti fructus eius.

43 ამისთჳს გეტყჳ თქუენ, ვითარმედ: მიგეღოს თქუენგან სასუფეველი ღმრთისაჲ და მიეცეს ნათესავსა, რომელნი ჰყოფდენ ნაყოფსა მისსა.

43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

Καὶ ὁ πεσὼν ἐπὶ τὸν λίθον τοῦτον συνθλασθήσεται: ἐφ᾽ ὃν δ᾽ ἂν πέσῃ λικμήσει αὐτόν.

Et, qui ceciderit super lapidem istum confringetur; super quem vero ceciderit, conteret eum”.

44 და რომელი დაეცეს ლოდსა მას ზედა, შეიმუსროს; და რომელსა ზედა დაეცეს, განანქრიოს იგი.

44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Καὶ ἀκούσαντες οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ Φαρισαῖοι τὰς παραβολὰς αὐτοῦ ἔγνωσαν ὅτι περὶ αὐτῶν λέγει:

Et cum audissent principes sacerdotum et pharisaei parabolas eius, cognoverunt quod de ipsis diceret;

45 და ესმნეს რაჲ მღდელთ-მოძღუართა მათ და ფარისეველთა იგავნი ესე მისნი, ცნეს, რამეთუ მათთჳს თქუნა.

45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.

καὶ ζητοῦντες αὐτὸν κρατῆσαι ἐφοβήθησαν τοὺς ὄχλους, ἐπεὶ εἰς προφήτην αὐτὸν εἶχον.

et quaerentes eum tenere, timuerunt turbas, quoniam sicut prophetam eum habebant.

46 და ეძიებდეს მას შეპყრობად და ეშინოდა მისგან, რამეთუ ვითარცა წინაწარმეტყუელი აქუნდა მათ იგი.

46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.
