In the following year I went to Arzawa.  I carried off cattle and sheep, but in my back the enemy from the land Hanigalbat invaded my land.  The totality of the lands became hostile against me. Solely the city Hattusa remained.  The Great King, Tabarna, is the beloved of the Sun-god.  And he (the Sun-god) placed him (Ḫattusili) on his lap, he took his hand and proceeded to walk in front of him.  I (text: he) went to punish Nenašša and they opened up (the doors) before me (him).

The following year I went to Arzawa.  I took cattle and sheep away from them, but behind me the enemy from the land Ḫurri came into the land.  And all the lands became hostile towards me and only Ḫattusa, the one city, remained (faithful).  The Great King Tabarna (is) the Beloved of the Sun-goddess of Arinna.  And ... me i[n ...] and ... me the han[d] and ran before me in battle.  I went to Ninassa for battle and when the people of Ninassa faced me, they opened up (the gates) again.
