Sūrat al-Muʾminūn (23)
bi-smi llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīmi

AL-MUMENOON (THE BELIEVERS) Total Verses: 118 Revealed At: MAKKA. In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 0

23 信士（慕米農）古蘭經第二三章這章是麥加的，全章共計一一八節。

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ

1a qad ʾaflaḥa l-muʾminūna

Successful indeed are the believers 1

信士們確已成功了；

الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ خَاشِعُونَ

2 (1R) llaḏīna hum fī ṣalāti-him ḫāšiʿūna

Who are humble in their prayers, 2

他們在拜中是恭順的，

وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنِ اللَّغْوِ مُعْرِضُونَ

3 (1R) wa-llaḏīna hum ʿani l-laġwi muʿriḍūna

And who shun vain conversation, 3

他們是遠離謬論的，

وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِلزَّكَاةِ فَاعِلُونَ

4 (1R) wa-llaḏina hum li-z-zakāti fāʿilūna

And who are payers of the poor-due; 4

他們是完納天課的，

وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَ

5 (1R) wa-llaḏīna hum li-furūǧi-him ḥafiẓūna

And who guard their modesty - 5

他們是保持貞操的——

إِلَّا عَلَىٰ أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ

6a ʾil-lā ʿalā ʾazwāǧi-him ʾaw mā malakat ʾaymānu-hum
6b fa-ʾinna-hum ġayru malūmīna
7 P fa-mani btaġā warāʾa ḏālika

Save from their wives or the (slaves) that their right hands possess, for then they are not blameworthy, 6

除非對他們的妻子和女奴，因為他們的心不是受譴責的；

فَمَنِ ابْتَغَىٰ وَرَاءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَ

7 fa-ʾulāʾika humu l-ʿādūna

But whoso craveth beyond that, such are transgressors - 7

此外，誰再有所求，誰是超越法度的——

وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ

8 (10P) wa-llaḏīna hum li-ʾamānāti-him wa-ʿahdi-him rāʿūna

And who are shepherds of their pledge and their covenant, 8

他們是尊重自己所受的信托和自己所締的盟約的，

وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَوَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ

9 (10P) wa-llaḏīna hum ʿalā ṣalawāti-him yuḥāfiẓūna

And who pay heed to their prayers. 9

他們是謹守拜功的；

أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْوَارِثُونَ

10 ʾulāʾika humu l-wāriṯūna

These are the heirs 10

這等人，才是繼承者。

الَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ الْفِرْدَوْسَ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ

11 (10R) llaḏīna yariṯūna l-firdawsa hum fī-hā ḫālidūna

Who will inherit paradise. There they will abide. 11

他們是繼承樂園的，他們將永居其中。

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِن سُلَالَةٍ مِّن طِينٍ

12 wa-la-qad ḫalaqnā l-ʾinsāna min sulālatin min ṭīnin

Verily We created man from a product of wet earth; 12

我確已用泥土的精華創造人，

ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاهُ نُطْفَةً فِي قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ

13 ṯumma ǧaʿalnā-hu nuṭfatan fī qarārin makīnin

Then placed him as a drop (of seed) in a safe lodging; 13

然後，我使他變成精液，在堅固的容器中的精液，

ثُمَّ خَلَقْنَا النُّطْفَةَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْعَلَقَةَ مُضْغَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْمُضْغَةَ عِظَامًا فَكَسَوْنَا الْعِظَامَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَاهُ خَلْقًا آخَرَ فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ

14a ṯumma ḫalaqnā n-nuṭfata ʿalaqatan
14b fa-ḫalaqnā l-ʿalaqata muḍġatan
14c fa-ḫalaqnā l-muḍġata ʿiẓāman
14d fa-kasawnā l-ʿiẓāma laḥman
14e ṯumma ʾanšaʾnā-hu ḫalqan ʾāḫara
14f fa-tabāraka llāhu
ʾaḥsanu l-ḫāliqīna

Then fashioned We the drop a clot, then fashioned We the clot a little lump, then fashioned We the little lump bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators! 14

然後，我把精液造成血塊，然後，我把血塊造成肉團，然後，我把肉團造成骨骼，然後，我使肌肉附著在骨骼上，然後我把他造成別的生物。願真主降福，他是最善於創造的。

ثُمَّ إِنَّكُم بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَيِّتُونَ

15 ṯumma ʾinna-kum baʿda ḏālika la-mayyitūna

Then lo! after that ye surely die. 15

此後，你們必定死亡，

ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ تُبْعَثُونَ

16 ṯumma ʾinna-kum yawma l-qiyāmati tubʿaṯūna

Then lo! on the Day of Resurrection ye are raised (again). 16

然後，你們在復活日必定要復活。

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعَ طَرَائِقَ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ الْخَلْقِ غَافِلِينَ

17a wa-la-qad ḫalaqnā fawqa-kum sabʿa ṭarāʾiqa
17b wa-mā kunnā ʿani l-ḫalqi ġāfilīna

And We have created above you seven paths, and We are never unmindful of creation. 17

我在你們的上面確已造了七條軌道，我對眾生，不是疏忽的。

وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً بِقَدَرٍ فَأَسْكَنَّاهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ ذَهَابٍ بِهِ لَقَادِرُونَ

18a wa-ʾanzalnā mina s-samāʾi māʾan bi-qadarin
18b fa-ʾaskannā-hu fi l-ʾarḍi
18c wa-ʾin-nā ʿalā ḏahābin bi-hī la-qadirūna

And we send down from the sky water in measure, and We give it lodging in the earth, and lo! We are Able to withdraw it. 18

我從雲中降下定量的雨水，然後，我使它停留在地下——我對於使它乾涸，是全能的

فَأَنشَأْنَا لَكُم بِهِ جَنَّاتٍ مِّن نَّخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَابٍ لَّكُمْ فِيهَا فَوَاكِهُ كَثِيرَةٌ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ

19a fa-ʾanšaʾnā la-kum bi-hī ǧannātin min naḫīlin wa-ʾaʿnābin
19b la-kum fī-hā fawākihu kaṯīratun
19c wa-min-hā taʾkulūna

Then We produce for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you and whereof ye eat; 19

——然後，我借它而為你們創造許多棗園和葡萄園，其中有許多水果都是你們的，你們得取而食之。

وَشَجَرَةً تَخْرُجُ مِن طُورِ سَيْنَاءَ تَنبُتُ بِالدُّهْنِ وَصِبْغٍ لِّلْآكِلِينَ

20 wa-šaǧaratan
20 R1 taḫruǧu min ṭūri saynāʾa
20 R2 tanbutu bi-d-duhni wa-ṣibġin li-l-ʾākilīna

And a tree that springeth forth from Mount Sinai that groweth oil and relish for the eaters. 20

我又借它而為你們創造一種樹，從西奈山發出，能生油汁和作料，供食者調味之用。

وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ فِي الْأَنْعَامِ لَعِبْرَةً نُّسْقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِي بُطُونِهَا وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ كَثِيرَةٌ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ

21a wa-ʾinna la-kum fi l-ʾanʿāmi la-ʿibratan
21b nusqī-kum mim-mā fī buṭūni-hā
21c wa-la-kum fī-hā manāfiʿu kaṯīratun
21d wa-min-hā taʾkulūna

And lo! in the cattle there is verily a lesson for you. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, and many uses have ye in them, and of them do ye eat; 21

牲畜中對於你們確有一種教訓，我使你們得飲牠們腹中的乳汁，得享受牠們的許多裨益，你們又得食牠們的肉，

وَعَلَيْهَا وَعَلَى الْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُونَ

22 wa-ʿalay-hā wa-ʿalā l-fulki tuḥmalūna

And on them and on the ship ye are carried. 22

你們又得用牠們和船舶來供載運。

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ فَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

23a wa-la-qad ʾarsalnā nūḥan ʾilā qawmi-hī
23b fa-qāla
23c V yā-qawm-i
23c ʿbudū llāha
23d mā la-kum min ʾilāhin ġayru-hū
23e ʾa-fa-lā tattaqūna

And We verily sent Noah unto his folk, and he said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other Allah save Him. Will ye not ward off (evil)? 23

我確已派遣努哈去教化他的宗族，他說：「我的宗族啊！你們應當崇拜真主，除他之外，絕無應受你們崇拜的。難道你們不敬畏嗎？」

فَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن قَوْمِهِ مَا هَٰذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَأَنزَلَ مَلَائِكَةً مَّا سَمِعْنَا بِهَٰذَا فِي آبَائِنَا الْأَوَّلِينَ

24a fa-qāla l-malaʾu
24a R llaḏīna kafarū
24a min qawmi-hī
24b mā hāḏā ʾil-lā bašarun miṯlu-kum
24b R yurīdu
24c ʾan yatafaḍḍala ʿalay-kum
24d wa-law šāʾa llāhu
24e la-ʾanzala malāʾikatan
24f mā samiʿnā bi-hāḏā fī ʾābāʾi-nā l-ʾawwalīna

But the chieftains of his folk, who disbelieved, said: This is only a mortal like you who would make himself superior to you. Had Allah willed, He surely could have sent down angels. We heard not of this in the case of our fathers of old. 24

他的宗族中不信道的頭目們說：「這個人只是像你們一樣的一個凡人，他想獲得你們的尊重。假若真主要派使者，必定降下許多天神。我們沒有聽到在我們的祖先的時代發生過這樣的事。

إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ بِهِ جِنَّةٌ فَتَرَبَّصُوا بِهِ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ

25a ʾin huwa ʾil-lā raǧulun
25a R bi-hī ǧinnatun
25b fa-tarabbaṣū bi-hī ḥattā ḥīnin

He is only a man in whom is a madness, so watch him for a while. 25

他只是一個瘋子，故你們應當等待他一個時期。」

قَالَ رَبِّ انصُرْنِي بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ

26a qāla
26b V rabb-i
26b nṣur-nī bi-mā kaḏḏabū-ni

He said: My Lord! Help me because they deny me. 26

他說：「我的主啊！求你援助我，因為他們已否認我了。」

فَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْهِ أَنِ اصْنَعِ الْفُلْكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا وَوَحْيِنَا فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَمْرُنَا وَفَارَ التَّنُّورُ فَاسْلُكْ فِيهَا مِن كُلٍّ زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَهْلَكَ إِلَّا مَن سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْلُ مِنْهُمْ وَلَا تُخَاطِبْنِي فِي الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا إِنَّهُم مُّغْرَقُونَ

27a fa-ʾawḥaynā ʾilay-hi
27b ʾani ṣnaʿi l-fulka bi-ʾaʿyuni-nā wa-waḥyi-nā
27c fa-ʾiḏā ǧāʾa ʾamru-nā
27d wa-fāra t-tannūru
27e fa-sluk fī-hā min kullin zawǧayni ṯnayni
27f wa-ʾahla-ka ʾil-lā man sabaqa ʿalay-hi l-qawlu min-hum
27g wa-lā tuḫāṭib-nī fi llaḏīna ẓalamū
27h ʾinna-hum muġraqūna

Then We inspired in him, saying: Make the ship under Our eyes and Our inspiration. Then, when Our command cometh and the oven gusheth water, introduce therein of every (kind) two spouses, and thy household save him thereof against whom the Word hath already gone forth. And plead not with Me on behalf of those who have done wrong. Lo! they will be drowned. 27

我就啟示他說：你在我的照顧下，依我的啟示而造船。當我的命令來臨，而洪水泛濫於地面的時候，你把每種動物，各取一對，放在船上，使你的家屬也上船去；他們中已被判決者除外。你不要為不義者而祈禱我，他們必然被淹死。

فَإِذَا اسْتَوَيْتَ أَنتَ وَمَن مَّعَكَ عَلَى الْفُلْكِ فَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي نَجَّانَا مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ

28a fa-ʾiḏā stawayta ʾanta wa-man maʿa-ka ʿalā l-fulki
28b fa-quli
28c l-ḥamdu li-llāhi
28c R llaḏī naǧǧā-nā mina l-qawmi ẓ-ẓālimīna

And when thou art on board the ship, thou and whoso is with thee, then say: Praise be to Allah Who hath saved us from the wrongdoing folk! 28

當你和同船者在船上坐定的時候，你應當說：「一切讚頌，全歸真主——他曾拯救我們脫離了不義的民眾。」

وَقُل رَّبِّ أَنزِلْنِي مُنزَلًا مُّبَارَكًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنزِلِينَ

29a wa-qul
29b V rabb-i
29b ʾanzil-nī munzalan mubārakan
29c wa-ʾanta ḫayru l-munzilīna

And say: My Lord! Cause me to land at a blessed landing-place, for Thou art Best of all who bring to land. 29

你應當說：「我的主啊！請你使我們在一個吉祥的地方登陸，你是最會安置眾生的。」

إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ وَإِن كُنَّا لَمُبْتَلِينَ

30a ʾinna fī ḏālika la-ʾāyātin
30b wa-ʾin kunnā la-mubtalīna

Lo! herein verily are portents, for lo! We are ever putting (mankind) to the test. 30

此中確有許多蹟象，我確是考驗者。

ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا آخَرِينَ

31 ṯumma ʾanšaʾnā min baʿdi-him qarnan ʾāḫarīna

Then, after them, We brought forth another generation; 31

在他們滅亡之後，我創造了別的世代，

فَأَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

32a fa-ʾarsalnā fī-him rasūlan min-hum
32b ʾani ʿbudū llāha
32c mā la-kum min ʾilāhin ġayru-hū
32d ʾa-fa-lā tattaqūna

And we sent among them a messenger of their own, saying: Serve Allah, Ye have no other Allah save Him. Will ye not ward off (evil)? 32

我從他們族中派了一個使者，去教化他們（說）：「你們應當崇拜真主，除了他，你們絕無應受崇拜者，難道你們不敬畏嗎？」

وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِلِقَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ وَأَتْرَفْنَاهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا مَا هَٰذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يَأْكُلُ مِمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ مِنْهُ وَيَشْرَبُ مِمَّا تَشْرَبُونَ

33a wa-qāla l-malaʾu min qawmi-hī
33a R1 llaḏīna kafarū
33a R2 wa-kaḏḏabū bi-liqāʾi l-ʾāḫirati
33a R3 wa-ʾatrafnā-hum fi l-ḥayāti d-dunyā
33b mā hāḏā ʾil-lā bašarun miṯlu-kum
33b R1 yaʾkulu mim-mā taʾkulūna min-hu
33b R2 wa-yašrabu mim-mā tašrabūna

And the chieftains of his folk, who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter, and whom We had made soft in the life of the world, said: This is only a mortal like you, who eateth of that whereof ye eat and drinketh of that ye drink. 33

他的宗族中的頭目，不信道而且否認後世的相會者，我使他們在今世得過豪華的生活。他們說：「這個只是像你們樣的凡人：他吃你們所吃的，他飲你們所飲的。

وَلَئِنْ أَطَعْتُم بَشَرًا مِّثْلَكُمْ إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَّخَاسِرُونَ

34a wa-la-ʾin ʾaṭaʿtum bašaran miṯla-kum
34b ʾinna-kum ʾiḏan la-ḫāsirūna

If ye were to obey a mortal like yourselves, then, lo! ye surely would be losers. 34

如果你們順從像你們樣的一個凡人，你們必定是虧損的。

أَيَعِدُكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ إِذَا مِتُّمْ وَكُنتُمْ تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَنَّكُم مُّخْرَجُونَ

35a ʾa-yaʿidū-kum
35b ʾanna-kum
35c ʾiḏā mittum
35d wa-kuntum turāban wa-ʿiẓāman
35b ʾanna-kum muḫraǧūna

Doth he promise you that you, when ye are dead and have become dust and bones, will (again) be brought forth? 35

他警告你們說：『當你們死後，已變為塵埃和朽骨時，必定要復活』嗎？

هَيْهَاتَ هَيْهَاتَ لِمَا تُوعَدُونَ

36 J hayhāta hayhāta li-mā tūʿadūna

Begone, begone, with that which ye are promised! 36

他所用來警告你們的事，太不近情理了。

إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوثِينَ

37a ʾin hiya ʾil-lā ḥayātu-nā d-dunyā
37b namūtu
37c wa-naḥyā
37d wa-mā naḥnu bi-mabʿūṯīna

There is naught but our life of the world; we die and we live, and we shall not be raised (again). 37

我們只有今世生活，我們死，我們生，我們絕不會復活。

إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا وَمَا نَحْنُ لَهُ بِمُؤْمِنِينَ

38a ʾin huwa ʾil-lā raǧuluni
38a R ftarā ʿalā llāhi kaḏiban
38b wa-mā naḥnu la-hū bi-muʾminīna

He is only a man who hath invented a lie about Allah. We are not going to put faith in him. 38

他只是一個人假借真主的名義而造謠，我們絕不信他！」

قَالَ رَبِّ انصُرْنِي بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ

39a qāla
39b V rabb-i
39b nṣur-nī bi-mā kaḏḏabū-ni

He said: My Lord! Help me because they deny me. 39

他說：「我的主啊！求你援助我，因為他們已經否認我了。」

قَالَ عَمَّا قَلِيلٍ لَّيُصْبِحُنَّ نَادِمِينَ

40a qāla
40b ʿam-mā qalīlin la-yuṣbiḥunna nādimīna

He said: In a little while they surely will become repentant. 40

主說：「不久，他們必然要悔恨。」

فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ بِالْحَقِّ فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ غُثَاءً فَبُعْدًا لِّلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ

41a fa-ʾaḫaḏat-humu ṣ-ṣayḥatu bi-l-ḥaqqi
41b fa-ǧaʿalnā-hum ġuṯāʾan
41c fa-buʿdan li-l-qawmi ẓ-ẓālimīna

So the (Awful) Cry overtook them rightfully, and We made them like as wreckage (that a torrent hurleth). A far removal for wrongdoing folk! 41

刑罰公道地襲擊了他們，而我使他們變成了廢料，不義的民眾已遭毀滅了。

ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِمْ قُرُونًا آخَرِينَ

42a ṯumma ʾanšaʾnā min baʿdi-him qurūnan ʾāḫarīna

Then after them We brought forth other generations. 42

在他們滅亡之後，我又興起別的幾個世代。

مَا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ

43a mā tasbiqu min ʾummatin ʾaǧala-hā
43b wa-mā yastaʾḫirūna

No nation can outstrip its term, nor yet postpone it. 43

任何世代，都不能在自己的期限之前滅亡，也不能在自己的期限之後淪喪。

ثُمَّ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا تَتْرَىٰ كُلَّ مَا جَاءَ أُمَّةً رَّسُولُهَا كَذَّبُوهُ فَأَتْبَعْنَا بَعْضَهُم بَعْضًا وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ أَحَادِيثَ فَبُعْدًا لِّقَوْمٍ لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ

44a ṯumma ʾarsalnā rusula-nā tatrā
44b kulla mā ǧāʾa ʾummatan rasūlu-hā
44c kaḏḏabū-hu
44d fa-ʾatbaʿnā baʿda-hum baʿdan wa-ǧaʿalnā-hum ʾaḥādīṯa
44e fa-buʿdan li-qawmin
44e R lā yuʾminūna

Then We sent our messengers one after another. Whenever its messenger came unto a nation they denied him; so We caused them to follow one another (to disaster) and We made them bywords. A far removal for folk who believe not! 44

然後，我陸續地派遣我的眾使者，每個族的使者來臨他們時，他們都否認他，故我使他們相繼滅亡，而使他們的事蹟變成話柄。不信道的民眾已遭毀滅。

ثُمَّ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ وَأَخَاهُ هَارُونَ بِآيَاتِنَا وَسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ

45 ṯumma ʾarsalnā mūsā wa-ʾaḫā-hu hārūna bi-ʾāyāti-nā wa-sulṭanin mubīnin

Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our tokens and a clear warrant, 45

然後，我派遣穆薩和他哥哥哈倫，把我的許多蹟象和明証，

إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا عَالِينَ

46a ʾilā firʿawna wa-malaʾi-hī
46b fa-stakbarū
46c wa-kānū qawman ʿālīna

Unto Pharaoh and his chiefs, but they scorned (them) and they were despotic folk. 46

傳示法老和他的臣民，但他們自大，他們是高傲的。

فَقَالُوا أَنُؤْمِنُ لِبَشَرَيْنِ مِثْلِنَا وَقَوْمُهُمَا لَنَا عَابِدُونَ

47a fa-qālū
47b ʾa-nuʾminu li-bašarayni miṯli-nā
47c wa-qawmu-humā la-nā ʿābidūna

And they said: Shall we put faith in two mortals like ourselves, and whose folk are servile unto us? 47

他們說：「我們怎能信仰像我們樣的兩個凡人呢？何況他倆的宗族是服侍我們的。」

فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَكَانُوا مِنَ الْمُهْلَكِينَ

48a fa-kaḏḏabū-humā
48b fa-kānū mina l-muhlakīna

So they denied them, and became of those who were destroyed. 48

他們否認他倆，故遭遇毀滅。

وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ

49a wa-la-qad ʾātaynā mūsā l-kitāba
49b laʿalla-hum yahtadūna

And We verily gave Moses the Scripture, that haply they might go aright. 49

我確已把天經賞賜穆薩，以便他們遵循正道。

وَجَعَلْنَا ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَأُمَّهُ آيَةً وَآوَيْنَاهُمَا إِلَىٰ رَبْوَةٍ ذَاتِ قَرَارٍ وَمَعِينٍ

50a wa-ǧaʿalnā bna maryama wa-ʾumma-hū ʾāyatan
50b wa-ʾāwaynā-huma ʾilā rabwatin ḏāti qarārin wa-maʿīnin

And We made the son of Mary and his mother a portent, and We gave them refuge on a height, a place of flocks and watersprings. 50

我以麥爾彥和她的兒子為一種蹟象，我使他倆在有平地和流水的高原獲得一個隱庇之所。

يَا أَيُّهَا الرُّسُلُ كُلُوا مِنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَاعْمَلُوا صَالِحًا إِنِّي بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَلِيمٌ

51a V yā-ʾayyu-hā r-rusulu
51a kulū mina ṭ-ṭayyibāti
51b wa-ʿmalū ṣāliḥan
51c ʾin-nī bi-mā taʿmalūna ʿalīmun

O ye messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right. Lo! I am Aware of what ye do. 51

眾使者啊！你們可以吃佳美的食物，應當力行善功，我對於你們的行為確是全知的。

وَإِنَّ هَٰذِهِ أُمَّتُكُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَأَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَاتَّقُونِ

52a wa-ʾinna hāḏihī ʾummatu-kum
ʾummatan wāḥidatan
52b wa-ʾanā rabbu-kum
52c fa-ttaqū-ni

And lo! this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, so keep your duty unto Me. 52

這個確是你們的統一的民族，我是你們的主，故你們應當敬畏我。

فَتَقَطَّعُوا أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ زُبُرًا كُلُّ حِزْبٍ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ فَرِحُونَ

53a fa-taqaṭṭaʿʿū ʾamra-hum bayna-hum zuburan
53b kullu ḥizbin bi-mā laday-him fariḥūna

But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its tenets. 53

但他們為教義而分裂成許多宗派，各派都因自己的教義而沾沾自喜，

فَذَرْهُمْ فِي غَمْرَتِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ

54 fa-ḏar-hum fī ġamrati-him ḥattā ḥīnin

So leave them in their error till a time. 54

你讓他們暫時沉浸在自己的困境之中吧。

أَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّمَا نُمِدُّهُم بِهِ مِن مَّالٍ وَبَنِينَ

55a ʾa-yaḥsabūna
55b ʾanna-mā numiddu-hum bi-hī min mālin wa-banīna

Think they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We provide them 55

他們以為我所用來資助他們的財產和子孫，

نُسَارِعُ لَهُمْ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ بَل لَّا يَشْعُرُونَ

56a nusāriʿu la-hum fī l-ḫayrāti
56b bal lā yašʿurūna

We hasten unto them with good things? Nay, but they perceive not. 56

是我用來使他們快得福利的（手段）嗎？不然，他們是不曉得的。

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ هُم مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ رَبِّهِم مُّشْفِقُونَ

57 P61 ʾinna llaḏīna hum min ḫašyati rabbi-him mušfiqūna

Lo! those who go in awe for fear of their Lord. 57

為敬畏主而恐懼者，

وَالَّذِينَ هُم بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ

58 P61 wa-llaḏīna hum bi-ʾāyāti rabbi-him yuʾminūna

And those who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58

信仰主的蹟象者，

وَالَّذِينَ هُم بِرَبِّهِمْ لَا يُشْرِكُونَ

59 P61 wa-llaḏīna hum bi-rabbi-him lā yušrikūna

And those who ascribe not partners unto their Lord, 59

不以物配主者，

وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْتُونَ مَا آتَوا وَّقُلُوبُهُمْ وَجِلَةٌ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ رَاجِعُونَ

60a P61 wa-llaḏīna yuʾtūna mā ʾātaw
60b wa-qulūbu-hum wāǧilatun
60c ʾanna-hum ʾilā rabbi-him rāǧiʿūna

And those who give that which they give with hearts afraid because they are about to return unto their Lord, 60

有所施捨、但因為將歸於主而心懷恐怖者，

أُولَٰئِكَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَهُمْ لَهَا سَابِقُونَ

61a ʾulāʾika yusāriʿūna fi l-ḫayrāti
61b wa-hum la-hā sābiqūna

These race for the good things, and they shall win them in the race. 61

這等人都是爭先行善，而且最先獲得善報的。

وَلَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا وَلَدَيْنَا كِتَابٌ يَنطِقُ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ

62a wa-lā nukallifu nafsan ʾil-lā wusʿa-hā
62b wa-laday-nā kitabun
62c yanṭiqu bi-l-ḥaqqi
62d wa-hum lā yuẓlamūna

And we task not any soul beyond its scope, and with Us is a Record which speaketh the truth, and they will not be wronged. 62

我只依各人的能力而加以責成。我有一本書宣言真理，他們是不被虧待的。

بَلْ قُلُوبُهُمْ فِي غَمْرَةٍ مِّنْ هَٰذَا وَلَهُمْ أَعْمَالٌ مِّن دُونِ ذَٰلِكَ هُمْ لَهَا عَامِلُونَ

63a bal qulūbu-hum fī ġamratin min hāḏā
63b wa-la-hum ʾaʿmālun min dūni ḏālika
63b R hum la-hā ʿāmilūna

Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur’an), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing; 63

不然，他們的心，對於這部經典，是浸沉在困境之中的。此外，他們還有許多行為，將要做出來。

حَتَّىٰ إِذَا أَخَذْنَا مُتْرَفِيهِم بِالْعَذَابِ إِذَا هُمْ يَجْأَرُونَ

64a ḥattā
64b ʾiḏā ʾaḫaḏnā mutrafī-him bi-l-ʿaḏābi
64a ʾiḏā hum yaǧʾarūna

Till when We grasp their luxurious ones with the punishment, behold! they supplicate. 64

直到我以刑罰懲治他們中過豪華生活者的時候，他們忽然大呼求救。

لَا تَجْأَرُوا الْيَوْمَ إِنَّكُم مِّنَّا لَا تُنصَرُونَ

65a lā taǧʾaru l-yawma
65b ʾinna-kum min-nā lā tunṣarūna

Supplicate not this day! Assuredly ye will not be helped by Us. 65

今天你們不要大呼求救。你們必定不能獲得我的援助。

قَدْ كَانَتْ آيَاتِي تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ أَعْقَابِكُمْ تَنكِصُونَ

66a qad kānat ʾāyāt-ī tutlā ʿalay-kum
66b fa-kuntum ʿalā ʾaʿqābi-kum tankiṣūna

My revelations were recited unto you, but ye used to turn back on your heels, 66

我的蹟象，確已對你們宣讀過了，但你們旋踵而退，

مُسْتَكْبِرِينَ بِهِ سَامِرًا تَهْجُرُونَ

67 mustakbirīna bi-hī samīran tahǧurūna

In scorn thereof. Nightly did ye rave together. 67

不肯信仰，卻用作夜談的資料，而且加以鄙棄。

أَفَلَمْ يَدَّبَّرُوا الْقَوْلَ أَمْ جَاءَهُم مَّا لَمْ يَأْتِ آبَاءَهُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

68a ʾa-fa-lam yaddabbarū l-qawla
68b ʾam ǧāʾa-hum mā lam yaʾti ʾābāʾa-humu l-ʾawwalīna

Have they not pondered the Word, or hath that come unto them which came not unto their fathers of old? 68

他們沒有熟思真言呢？還是沒有降臨他們的祖先的經典已降臨他們呢？

أَمْ لَمْ يَعْرِفُوا رَسُولَهُمْ فَهُمْ لَهُ مُنكِرُونَ

69a ʾam lam yaʿrifū rasūla-hum
69b fa-hum la-hū munkirūna

Or know they not their messenger, and so reject him? 69

還是他們沒有認識他們的使者，因而不承認他呢？

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ بِهِ جِنَّةٌ بَلْ جَاءَهُم بِالْحَقِّ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كَارِهُونَ

70a ʾam yaqūlūna
70b bi-hī ǧinnatun
70c bal ǧāʾa-hum bi-l-ḥaqqi
70d wa-ʾakṯaru-hum li-l-ḥaqqi kārihūna

Or say they: There is a madness in him? Nay, but he bringeth them the Truth; and most of them are haters of the Truth. 70

還是他們說他有瘋病呢？——不然，他以真理昭示他們，但他們大半是厭惡真理的。

وَلَوِ اتَّبَعَ الْحَقُّ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ لَفَسَدَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَن فِيهِنَّ بَلْ أَتَيْنَاهُم بِذِكْرِهِمْ فَهُمْ عَن ذِكْرِهِم مُّعْرِضُونَ

71a wa-lawi ttabaʿa l-ḥaqqu ʾahwāʾa-hum
71b la-fasadati s-samāwātu wa-l-ʾarḍu wa-man fī-hinna
71c bal ʾātaynā-hum bi-ḏikri-him
71d fa-hum ʿan ḏikri-him muʿriḍūna

And if the Truth had followed their desires, verily the heavens and the earth and whosoever is therein had been corrupted. Nay, We have brought them their Reminder, but from their Reminder they now turn away. 71

假若真理順從他們的私欲，天地萬物，必然毀壞。不然，我已把他們的教誨昭示他們，但他們背棄他們的教誨。

أَمْ تَسْأَلُهُمْ خَرْجًا فَخَرَاجُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ

72a ʾam tasʾalu-hum ḫarǧan
72b fa-ḫaraǧu rabbi-ka ḫayrun
72c wa-huwa ḫayru r-rāziqīna

Or dost thou ask of them (O Muhammad) any tribute? But the bounty of thy Lord is better, for He is Best of all who make provision. 72

難道你向他們索取報酬嗎？你的主的賞賜是更好的，他是最善於給養的。

وَإِنَّكَ لَتَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

73 wa-ʾinna-ka la-tadʿū-hum ʾilā ṣirāṭin mustaqīmin

And lo! thou summonest them indeed unto a straight path. 73

你確是號召他們走正路的。

وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ عَنِ الصِّرَاطِ لَنَاكِبُونَ

74 P wa-ʾinna llaḏīna lā yuʾminūna bi-l-ʾāḫirati
74 ʿani ṣ-ṣirāṭi la-nākibūna

And lo! those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed astray from the path. 74

不信後世者，確是偏離正路的。

وَلَوْ رَحِمْنَاهُمْ وَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِم مِّن ضُرٍّ لَّلَجُّوا فِي طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ

75a wa-law raḥimnā-hum
75b wa-kašafnā mā bi-him min ḍurrin
75c la-laǧǧū fī ṭuġyāni-him
75d yaʿmahūna

Though We had mercy on them and relieved them of the harm afflicting them, they still would wander blindly on in their contumacy. 75

假若我憐憫他們，而且解除他們所遭的苦難，他們必固執橫蠻，而徘徊於歧途之中。

وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَاهُم بِالْعَذَابِ فَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ

76a wa-la-qad ʾaḫaḏnā-hum bi-l-ʿaḏābi
76b fa-mā stakānū li-rabbi-him
76c wa-mā yataḍarraʿūna

Already have We grasped them with punishment, but they humble not themselves unto their Lord, nor do they pray, 76

我確已用刑罰懲治他們，但他們不順從他們的主，他們也不對他表示謙遜。

حَتَّىٰ إِذَا فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا ذَا عَذَابٍ شَدِيدٍ إِذَا هُمْ فِيهِ مُبْلِسُونَ

77a ḥattā
77b ʾiḏā fataḥnā ʿalay-him bāban ḏā ʿaḏābin šadīdin
77a ʾiḏā hum fī-hi mublisūna

Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat. 77

直到我對他們開辟嚴刑之門的時候，他們為它而忽然變成失望者。

وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ

78a wa-huwa llaḏī ʾanšaʾa la-kumu s-samʿa wa-l-ʾabṣāra wa-l-ʾafʾidata
78b qalīlan mā taškurūna

He it is Who hath created for you ears and eyes and hearts. Small thanks give ye! 78

主曾為你們創造耳目和心，你們的感謝是很少的。

وَهُوَ الَّذِي ذَرَأَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ

79a wa-huwa llaḏī ḏaraʾa-kum fi l-ʾarḍi
79b wa-ʾilay-hi tuḥšarūna

And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79

他曾使你們在大地上繁殖，你們要被集合在他那裡，

وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَلَهُ اخْتِلَافُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

80a wa-huwa llaḏī yuḥyī wa-yumītu
80b wa-la-hū ḫtilāfu l-layli wa-n-nahāri
80c ʾa-fa-lā taʿqilūna

And He it is Who giveth life and causeth death, and His is the difference of night and day. Have ye then no sense? 80

他使死物生，使生物死，晝夜的更迭由他主持。難道你們不了解嗎？

بَلْ قَالُوا مِثْلَ مَا قَالَ الْأَوَّلُونَ

81 bal qālū miṯla mā qāla l-ʾawwalūna

Nay, but they say the like of that which said the men of old; 81

不然，他們說了如古人所說的話，

قَالُوا أَإِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَإِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ

82a qālū
82b ʾa-ʾiḏā mitnā
82c wa-kunnā turāban wa-ʿiẓāman
82d ʾa-ʾin-nā la-mabʿūṯūna

They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again? 82

他們說：「我們死後，已變成塵埃和朽骨的時候，難道我們還必定要復活嗎？

لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا نَحْنُ وَآبَاؤُنَا هَٰذَا مِن قَبْلُ إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

83a la-qad wuʿidnā naḥnu wa-ʾābāʾu-nā hāḏā min qablu
83b ʾin hāḏā ʾil-lā ʾaṣāṭīru l-ʾawwalīna

We were already promised this, we and our forefathers. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old. 83

我們和我們的祖先，以前確已受過這種警告了。這個只是古人的神話。」

قُل لِّمَنِ الْأَرْضُ وَمَن فِيهَا إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

84a qul
84b li-mani l-ʾarḍu wa-man fī-hā
84c ʾin kuntum taʿlamūna

Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge? 84

你說：「大地和其中的人物，究竟是為誰所有？如果你們知道。」

سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

85a sa-yaqūlūna li-llāhi
85b qul
85c ʾa-fa-lā taḏakkarūna

They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85

他們要說：「為真主所有。」你說：「你們怎不記得呢？」

قُلْ مَن رَّبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ

86a qul
86b man rabbu s-samāwāti s-sabʿi wa-rabbu l-ʿarši l-ʿaẓīmi

Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 86

你說：「誰是七天的主和偉大的寶座的主呢？」

سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

87a sa-yaqūlūna li-llāhi
87b qul
87c ʾa-fa-lā tattaqūna

They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87

他們要說：「真主。」你說：「那你們怎不敬畏呢？」

قُلْ مَن بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ يُجِيرُ وَلَا يُجَارُ عَلَيْهِ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

88a qul
88b P man
88b bi-yadi-hī malakūtu kulli šayʾin
88c wa-huwa yuǧīru
88d wa-lā yuǧāru ʿalay-hi
88e ʾin kuntum taʿlamūna

Say: In Whose hand is the dominion over all things and He protecteth, while against Him there is no protection, if ye have knowledge? 88

你說：「萬物的主權，在誰的掌握之中？誰能保護眾生，而他自己不受保護呢？如果你們知道。」

سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ فَأَنَّىٰ تُسْحَرُونَ

89a sa-yaqūlūna li-llāhi
89b qul
89c fa-ʾannā tusḥarūna

They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89

他們要說：「是真主。」你說：「你們怎麼被人迷惑呢？」

بَلْ أَتَيْنَاهُم بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ

90a bal ʾataynā-hum bi-l-ḥaqqi
90b wa-ʾinna-hum la-kāḏibūna

Nay, but We have brought them the Truth, and lo! they are liars. 90

不然，我以真理昭示他們，而他們確是說謊的。

مَا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ مِن وَلَدٍ وَمَا كَانَ مَعَهُ مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ إِذًا لَّذَهَبَ كُلُّ إِلَٰهٍ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

91a mā ttaḫaḏa llāhu min waladin
91b wa-mā kāna maʿa-hū min ʾilāhin
91c ʾiḏan la-ḏahaba kullu ʾilāhin bi-mā ḫalaqa
91d wa-la-ʿalā baʿḍu-hum ʿalā baʿḍin
91e J subḥāna llāhi ʿam-mā yaṣifūna

Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any god along with Him; else would each god have assuredly championed that which he created, and some of them would assuredly have overcome others. Glorified be Allah above all that they allege. 91

真主沒有收養任何兒子，也沒有任何神靈與他同等；否則每個神靈必獨佔他所創造者，他們也必優勝劣敗。讚頌真主，超乎他們的描敘。

عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَتَعَالَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

92a ʿālimi l-ġaybi wa-š-šahādati
92b fa-taʿālā ʿam-mā yušrikūna

Knower of the invisible and the visible! and exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him)! 92

讚頌全知幽明的主，超乎他們的描敘，超乎他們所用來配他的（一切東西）。

قُل رَّبِّ إِمَّا تُرِيَنِّي مَا يُوعَدُونَ

93a qul
93b V rabb-ī
93b ʾimmā turiyan-nī mā yūʿadūna

Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93

你說：「我的主啊！如果你務必要使我看見他們所被警告的（刑罰），——

رَبِّ فَلَا تَجْعَلْنِي فِي الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ

94 V rabb-ī
94 fa-lā taǧʿal-nī fi l-qawmi ẓ-ẓālimīna

My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk. 94

我的主啊！求你不要使我與不義的民眾同歸於盡。」

وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ أَن نُّرِيَكَ مَا نَعِدُهُمْ لَقَادِرُونَ

95 wa-ʾin-nā ʿalā ʾan nuriya-ka mā naʿidu-hum la-qādirūna

And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95

我的確能使你看見我所警告他們的刑罰。

ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ السَّيِّئَةَ نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُونَ

96a dfaʿ bi-llatī hiya ʾaḥsanu s-sayyiʾata
96b naḥnu ʾaʿlamu bi-mā yaṣifūna

Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96

你應當以德報怨，我知道他們所描敘的。

وَقُل رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ

97a wa-qul
97b V rabb-i
97b ʾaʿūḏu bi-ka min hamazāti š-šayāṭīni

And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97

你說：「我的主啊！我求你保祐我得免於眾惡魔的誘惑。

وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن يَحْضُرُونِ

98a wa-ʾaʿūḏu bi-ka
98a V rabb-ī
98b ʾan yaḥḍurū-ni

And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98

我的主啊！我求你保祐我得免於他們的來臨。」

حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ارْجِعُونِ

99a ḥattā
99b ʾiḏā ǧāʾa ʾaḥada-humu l-mawtu
99a qāla
99c V rabb-i
99c rǧiʿū-ni

Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99

等到死亡降臨他們中，一旦有人臨危時，他才說：「我的主啊！求你讓我返回人間，

لَعَلِّي أَعْمَلُ صَالِحًا فِيمَا تَرَكْتُ كَلَّا إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَائِلُهَا وَمِن وَرَائِهِم بَرْزَخٌ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ

100a laʿall-ī ʾaʿmalu ṣāliḥan fī-mā taraktu
100b kallā
100c ʾinna-hā kalimatun
100c R huwa qāʾilu-hā
100d wa-min warāʾi-him barzaḫun ʾilā yawmi
100d R yubʿaṯūna

That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100

也許我能借我所遺留的財產而行善。」絕不然！這是他一定要說的一句話，在他們的前面，有一個屏障，直到他們復活的日子。

فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَلَا أَنسَابَ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَلَا يَتَسَاءَلُونَ

101a fa-ʾiḏā nufiḫa fi ṣ-ṣūri
101b fa-lā ʾansāba bayna-hum yawmaʾiḏin
101c wa-lā yatasāʾalūna

And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101

號角一響，他們之間的親屬關係，就不存在了，他們也不能互相詢問。

فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ

102 P fa-man ṯaqulat mawāzīnu-hū
102 fa-ʾulāʾika humu l-mufliḥūna

Then those whose scales are heavy, they are the successful. 102

凡善功的分量重的，都是成功的；

وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ فِي جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدُونَ

103a P wa-man ḫaffat mawāzīnu-hū
103a fa-ʾulāʾika llaḏīna ḫasirū ʾanfusa-hum
103b fī ǧahannama ḫālidūna

And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103

凡善功的分量輕的，都是虧損的，他們將永居火獄之中。

تَلْفَحُ وُجُوهَهُمُ النَّارُ وَهُمْ فِيهَا كَالِحُونَ

104a talfaḥu wuǧūha-humu n-nāru
104b wa-hum fī-hā kāliḥūna

The fire burneth their faces, and they are glum therein. 104

火焰燒灼他們的臉，他們在火獄中痛得咧著嘴。

أَلَمْ تَكُنْ آيَاتِي تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَكُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ

105a ʾa-lam takun ʾāyāt-ī tutlā ʿalay-kum
105b fa-kuntum bi-hā tukaḏḏibūna

(It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105

難道我的蹟象沒有對你們宣讀過，而你們否認它嗎？

قَالُوا رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتْ عَلَيْنَا شِقْوَتُنَا وَكُنَّا قَوْمًا ضَالِّينَ

106a qalū
106b V rabba-nā
106b ġalabat ʿalay-nā šiqwatu-nā
106c wa-kunnā qawman ḍāllīna

They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106

他們說：「我們的主啊！我們的薄命，曾制服我們，而我們變成迷誤者。

رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْهَا فَإِنْ عُدْنَا فَإِنَّا ظَالِمُونَ

107a V rabba-nā
107a ʾaḫriǧ-nā min-hā
107b fa-ʾin ʿudnā
107c fa-ʾin-nā ẓālimūna

Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107

我們的主啊！求你讓我們從火獄出去，如果我們再次犯罪，我們就確是不義者。」

قَالَ اخْسَئُوا فِيهَا وَلَا تُكَلِّمُونِ

108a qāla
108b ḫsaʾū fī-hā
108c wa-lā tukallimū-ni

He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108

他說：「你們在火獄中應當忍氣吞聲，不要對我說話。」

إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِي يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

109a ʾinna-hū kāna farīqun min ʿibād-ī yaqūlūna
109b V rabba-nā
109b ʾāmannā
109c fa-ġfir la-nā
109d wa-rḥam-nā
109e wa-ʾanta ḫayru r-rāḥimīna

Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy; 109

從前，我的僕人中有一派人常說：「我們的主啊！我們已信道了，求你饒恕我們，求你憐憫我們，你是最憐憫的。」

فَاتَّخَذْتُمُوهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا حَتَّىٰ أَنسَوْكُمْ ذِكْرِي وَكُنتُم مِّنْهُمْ تَضْحَكُونَ

110a fa-ttaḫaḏtumū-hum siḫrīyan
110b ḥattā ʾansaw-kum ḏikr-ī
110c wa-kuntum min-hum taḍḥakūna

But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110

但你們以他們為笑柄，常常嗤笑他們，直到他們使你們忘了記念我。

إِنِّي جَزَيْتُهُمُ الْيَوْمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ

111a ʾin-nī ǧazaytu-humu l-yawma bi-mā ṣabarū
111b ʾanna-hum humu l-fāʾizūna

Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast; and they surely are the triumphant. 111

今天我確已為他們的堅忍而報酬他們，他們正是成功的。

قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ عَدَدَ سِنِينَ

112a qāla
112b kam labiṯtum fi l-ʾarḍi ʿadada sinīna

He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112

主說：「你們在大地上逗留了幾年？」

قَالُوا لَبِثْنَا يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ فَاسْأَلِ الْعَادِّينَ

113a qālū
113b labiṯnā yawman ʾaw baʿḍa yawmin
113c fa-sʾali l-ʿāddīna

They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113

他們說：「我們逗留了一天，或者不足一天；請你問問能計算年月的（天神）吧。」

قَالَ إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا لَّوْ أَنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

114a qāla
114b ʾin labiṯtum ʾil-lā qalīlan
114c law ʾanna-kum kuntum taʿlamūna

He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114

他說：「你們只逗留了很少的年月，假若你們知道。」

أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ

115a ʾa-fa-ḥasibtum
115b ʾanna-mā ḫalaqnā-kum ʿabaṯan
115c wa-ʾanna-kum ʾilay-nā lā turǧaʿūna

Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115

難道你們以為我只是徒然地創造了你們，而你們不被召歸我嗎？

فَتَعَالَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ

116a fa-taʿāla llāhu l-maliku l-ḥaqqu
116b lā ʾilāha ʾil-lā huwa rabbu l-ʿarši l-karīmi

Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no God save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116

尊哉真主——真實的君主，除他之外，絕無應受崇拜的。他是高貴的寶座之主。

وَمَن يَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ لَا بُرْهَانَ لَهُ بِهِ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُ عِندَ رَبِّهِ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الْكَافِرُونَ

117a wa-man yadʿū maʿa llāhi ʾilāhan ʾāḫara
117b lā burhāna la-hū bi-hī
117c fa-ʾinna-mā ḥisābu-hū ʿinda rabbi-hī
117d ʾinna-hū lā yufliḥu l-kāfirūna

He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117

凡在祈禱真主的同時祈禱別的無稽的神靈者，他將在主那裡受到清算，不信道者必不能成功。

وَقُل رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

118a wa qul
118b V rabb-i
118b ġfir
118c wa-rḥam
118d wa-ʾanta ḫayru r-rāḥimīna

And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art best of all who show mercy. 118

你說：「我的主啊！求你饒恕，求你憐憫，你是最憐憫的。」
