وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَيَتَّخِذَهَا هُزُوًا أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ

6a wa-mina n-nāsi man yaštarī lahwa l-ḥadīṯi
6b li-yuḍilla ʿan sabīli llāhi bi-ġayri ʿilmin
6c wa-yattaḫiḏa-hā huzuwan
6d P ʾulāʾika
6d la-hum ʿaḏābun muhīnun

And of mankind is he who payeth for mere pastime of discourse, that he may mislead from Allah’s way without knowledge, and maketh it the butt of mockery. For such there is a shameful doom. 6

有人購買無謂的談話，以便他無知無識地使人背離真主的正道，而且把它當作笑柄

وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا وَلَّىٰ مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا كَأَنَّ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ وَقْرًا فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ

7a wa-ʾiḏā tutlā ʿalay-hi ʾāyātu-nā
7b wallā
mustakbiran
7c ka-ʾan lam yasmaʿ-hā
7d ka-ʾanna fī ʾuḏunay-hi waqran
7e fa-baššir-hu bi-ʿaḏābin ʾalīmin
8 P ʾinna llaḏīna ʾāmanū wa-ʿamilū ṣ-ṣāliḥāti

And when Our revelations are recited unto him he turneth away in pride as if he heard them not, as if there were a deafness in his ears. So give him tidings of a painful doom. 7

有人對他宣讀我的蹟象的時候，他自大地退避，彷彿沒有聽見一樣，彷彿他的兩耳

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ النَّعِيمِ

8 la-hum ǧannātu n-naʿīmi

Lo! those who believe and do good works, for them are the gardens of delight, 8

信道而且行善者，必將享受極樂園，

خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقًّا وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

9a ḫālidīna fī-hā
9b waʿda llāhi ḥaqqan
9c wa-huwa l-ʿazīzu l-ḥakīmu

Wherein they will abide. It is a promise of Allah in truth. He is the Mighty, the Wise. 9

而永居其中。這是真主的真實的應許，他確是萬能的，確是至睿的。

خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا وَأَلْقَىٰ فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيمٍ

10a ḫalaqa s-samāwāti bi-ġayri ʿamadin
10b tarawna-hā
10c wa-ʾalqā fī l-ʾarḍi rawāsiya
10d ʾan tamīda bi-kum
10e wa-baṯṯa fī-hā min kulli dābbatin
10f wa-ʾanzalnā mina s-samāʾi māʾan
10g fa-ʾanbatnā fī-hā min kulli zawǧin karīmin

He hath created the heavens without supports that ye can see, and hath cast into the earth firm hills, so that it quake not with you; and He hath dispersed therein all kinds of beasts. And We send down water from the sky and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow therein. 10

他創造諸天，而不用你們所能見的支柱；他在大地上安置許多山岳，以免大地動搖

هَٰذَا خَلْقُ اللَّهِ فَأَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقَ الَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِ بَلِ الظَّالِمُونَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ

11a hāḏā ḫalqu llāhi
11b fa-ʾarū-nī māḏā ḫalaqa llaḏīna min dūni-hī
11c bali ẓ-ẓālimūna fī ḍalālin mubīnin

This is the Creation of Allah. Now show me that which those (ye worship) beside Him have created. Nay, but the wrong-doers are in error manifest! 11

這是真主所創造的，你們指示我吧，你們捨真主而崇拜的（偶像〕究竟創造了甚麼

وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا لُقْمَانَ الْحِكْمَةَ أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِلَّهِ وَمَن يَشْكُرْ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ

12a wa-la-qad ʾātaynā luqmāna l-ḥikmata
12b ʾani škur li-llāhi
12c wa-man yaškur
12d fa-ʾinna-mā yaškuru li-nafsi-hī
12e wa-man kafara
12f fa-ʾinna llāha ġanīyun ḥamīdun

And verily We gave Luqman wisdom, saying: Give thanks unto Allah; and whosoever giveth thanks, he giveth thanks for (the good of) his soul. And whosoever refuseth - Lo! Allah is Absolute, Owner of Praise. 12

我確已把智慧賞賜魯格曼，（我說）：「你當感謝真主。感謝的人，只為自己而感

وَإِذْ قَالَ لُقْمَانُ لِابْنِهِ وَهُوَ يَعِظُهُ يَا بُنَيَّ لَا تُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّ الشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيمٌ

13a wa-ʾiḏ qāla luqmānu li-bni-hī
13b wa-huwa yaʿiẓu-hū
13c V yā-bunay-ya
13c lā tušrik bi-llāhi
13d ʾinna š-širka la-ẓulmun ʿaẓīmun

And (remember) when Luqman said unto his son, when he was exhorting him: O my dear son! Ascribe no partners unto Allah. Lo! to ascribe partners (unto Him) is a tremendous wrong - 13

當日，魯格曼曾教訓他的兒子說：「我的小子啊！你不要以任何物配主。以物配主

وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ وَهْنًا عَلَىٰ وَهْنٍ وَفِصَالُهُ فِي عَامَيْنِ أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيْكَ إِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ

14a wa-waṣṣaynā l-ʾinsāna bi-wāliday-hi
14b ḥamalat-hu ʾummu-hū wahnan ʿalā wahnin
14c wa-fiṣālu-hū fī ʿāmayni
14d ʾani škur l-ī wa-li-waliday-ka
14e ʾilay-ya l-maṣīru

And We have enjoined upon man concerning his partners - His mother beareth him in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years - Give thanks unto Me and unto thy parents. Unto Me is the journeying. 14

我曾命人孝敬父母——他母親弱上加弱地懷著他，他的斷乳，是在兩年之中——（

وَإِن جَاهَدَاكَ عَلَىٰ أَن تُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا وَصَاحِبْهُمَا فِي الدُّنْيَا مَعْرُوفًا وَاتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ مَنْ أَنَابَ إِلَيَّ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

15a wa-ʾin ǧāhadā-ka
15b ʿalā ʾan tušrika b-ī mā laysa la-ka bi-hī ʿilmun
15c fa-lā tuṭiʿ-humā
15d wa-ṣāḥib-humā fī d-dunyā maʿrūfan
15e wa-ttabiʿ sabīla man ʾanāba ʾilay-ya
15f ṯumma ʾilay-ya marǧiʿu-kum
15g fa-ʾunabbiʾu-kum bi-mā kuntum taʿmalūna

But if they strive with thee to make thee ascribe unto Me as partner that of which thou hast no knowledge, then obey them not. Consort with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who repenteth unto Me. Then unto Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what ye used to do - 15

如果他倆勒令你以你所不知道的東西配我，那麼，你不要服從他倆，在今世，你應

يَا بُنَيَّ إِنَّهَا إِن تَكُ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ فَتَكُن فِي صَخْرَةٍ أَوْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَوْ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَأْتِ بِهَا اللَّهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌ

16a V yā-bunay-ya
16a P ʾinna-hā
16b ʾin taku miṯqāla ḥabbatin min ḫardalin
16c fa-takun fī ṣaḫratin ʾaw fī s-samāwāti ʾaw fī l-ʾarḍi
16a yaʾti bi-hā llāhu
16c ʾinna llāha laṭīfun ḫabīrun

O my dear son! Lo! though it be but the weight of a grain of mustard-seed, and though it be in a rock, or in the heavens, or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth. Lo! Allah is Subtile, Aware. 16

魯格曼說：「我的小子啊！善惡的行為，雖小如芥子，隱藏在磐石裡，或在天空中

يَا بُنَيَّ أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَانْهَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَاصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا أَصَابَكَ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ

17a V yā-bunay-ya
17a ʾaqimi ṣ-ṣalāta
17b wa-ʾmur bi-l-maʿrūfi
17c wa-ʾinha ʿani l-munkari
17d wa-ṣbir ʿalā mā ʾaṣāba-ka
17e ʾinna ḏālika min ʿazmi l-ʾumūri

O my dear son! Establish worship and enjoin kindness and forbid iniquity, and persevere whatever may befall thee. Lo! that is of the steadfast heart of things. 17

我的小子啊！你應當謹守拜功，應當勸善戒惡，應當忍受患難，這確是應該決心做

وَلَا تُصَعِّرْ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَمْشِ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍ

18a wa-lā tuṣaʿʿir ḫadda-ka li-n-nāsi
18b wa-lā tamši fī l-ʾarḍi maraḥan
18c ʾinna llāha lā yuḥibbu kulla muḫtālin fa-ḫūrin

Turn not thy cheek in scorn toward folk, nor walk with pertness in the land. Lo! Allah loveth not each braggart boaster. 18

你不要為藐視眾人而轉臉，不要洋洋得意地在大地上行走，真主確是不喜愛一切傲

وَاقْصِدْ فِي مَشْيِكَ وَاغْضُضْ مِن صَوْتِكَ إِنَّ أَنكَرَ الْأَصْوَاتِ لَصَوْتُ الْحَمِيرِ

19a wa-qṣid fī mašyi-ka
19b wa-ġḍuḍ min ṣawti-ka
19c ʾinna ʾankara l-ʾaṣwāti la-ṣawtu l-ḥamīri

Be modest in thy bearing and subdue thy voice. Lo! the harshest of all voices is the voice of the ass. 19

你應當節制你的步伐，你應當抑制你的聲音；最討厭的聲音，確是驢子的聲音。」

أَلَمْ تَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَأَسْبَغَ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعَمَهُ ظَاهِرَةً وَبَاطِنَةً وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يُجَادِلُ فِي اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ وَلَا هُدًى وَلَا كِتَابٍ مُّنِيرٍ

20a ʾa-lam taraw
20b ʾanna llāha saḫḫara la-kum mā fī s-samāwāti wa-mā fī l-ʾarḍi
20c wa-ʾasbaġa ʿalay-kum niʿama-hū ẓāhiratan wa-bāṭinatan
20d wa-mina n-nāsi man yuǧādilu fī llāhi bi-ġayri ʿilmin
wa-lā hudan wa-lā kitābin munīrin

See ye not how Allah hath made serviceable unto you whatsoever is in the skies and whatsoever is in the earth and hath loaded you with His favours both without and within? Yet of mankind is he who disputeth concerning Allah, without knowledge or guidance or a scripture giving light. 20

難道你們不知道嗎？真主曾為你們制服天地間的一切，他博施你們表裡的恩惠。有

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوا مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ قَالُوا بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا أَوَلَوْ كَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ السَّعِيرِ

21a wa-ʾiḏā qīla la-humu
21b ttabiʿū mā ʾanzala llāhu
21c qālū
21d bal nattabiʿu mā waǧadnā ʿalay-hi ʾābāʾa-nā
21e ʾa-wa-law kāna š-šayṭānu yadʿū-hum ʾilā ʿaḏābi s-saʿīri

And if it be said unto them: Follow that which Allah hath revealed, they say: Nay, but we follow that wherein we found our fathers. What! Even though the devil were inviting them unto the doom of flame? 21

如果有人對他們說：「你們應當遵守真主所降示的（經典）。」他們就說：「不然

وَمَن يُسْلِمْ وَجْهَهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَىٰ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ عَاقِبَةُ الْأُمُورِ

22a wa-man yuslim waǧha-hū ʾilā llāhī
22b wa-huwa muḥsinun
22c fa-qadi stamsaka bi-l-ʿurwati l-wuṯqā
22d wa-ʾilā llāhi ʿāqibatu l-ʾumūri

Whosoever surrendereth his purpose to Allah while doing good, he verily hath grasped the firm hand-hold. Unto Allah belongeth the sequel of all things. 22

誠心歸順真主而且常行善事者，確已把握住堅固的把柄。萬事的結局，只歸真主。

وَمَن كَفَرَ فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ كُفْرُهُ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ

23a wa-man kafara
23b fa-lā yaḥzun-ka kufru-hū
23c ʾilay-nā marǧiʿu-hum
23d fa-nunabbiʾu-hum bi-mā ʿamilū
23e ʾinna llāha ʿalīmun bi-ḏāti ṣ-ṣudūri

And whosoever disbelieveth, let not his disbelief afflict thee (O Muhammad). Unto Us is their return, and We shall tell them what they did. Lo! Allah is Aware of what is in the breasts (of men). 23

不信道者，你不要為他們的不信而憂愁，他們只歸於我，我要把他們的行為告訴他

نُمَتِّعُهُمْ قَلِيلًا ثُمَّ نَضْطَرُّهُمْ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍ

24a numattiʿu-hum qalīlan
24b ṯumma naḍṭarru-hum ʾilā ʿaḏābin ġalīẓin

We give them comfort for a little, and then We drive them to a heavy doom. 24

我使他們稍稍享受幸福，然後，強迫他們去受嚴厲的刑罰。

وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

25a wa-la-ʾin saʾalta-hum
25b man ḫalaqa s-samāwāti wa-l-ʾarḍa
25c la-yaqūlunna
25d llāhu
25e quli
25f l-ḥamdu li-llāhi
25g bal ʾakṯaru-hum lā yaʿlamūna

If thou shouldst ask them: Who created the heavens and the earth? they would answer: Allah. Say: Praise be to Allah! But most of them know not. 25

如果你問他們：「誰創造了大地？」他們必定說：「真主。」你說：「一切讚頌，

لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ

26a li-llāhi mā fī s-samāwāti wa-l-ʾarḍi
26b ʾinna llāha huwa l-ġanīyu l-ḥamīdu

Unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. Lo! Allah, He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise. 26

天地萬物只是真主的，真主確是無求的，確是可頌的。

وَلَوْ أَنَّمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مِن شَجَرَةٍ أَقْلَامٌ وَالْبَحْرُ يَمُدُّهُ مِن بَعْدِهِ سَبْعَةُ أَبْحُرٍ مَّا نَفِدَتْ كَلِمَاتُ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ

27a wa-law ʾanna-mā fī l-ʾarḍi min šaǧaratin ʾaqlāmun
27b P wa-l-baḥru
27b yamuddu-hū min baʿdi-hī sabʿatu ʾabḥurin
27c mā nafidat kalimātu llāhi
27d ʾinna llāha ʿazīzun ḥakīmun

And if all the trees in the earth were pens, and the sea, with seven more seas to help it, (were ink), the words of Allah could not be exhausted. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise. 27

假若用大地上所有的樹來制成筆，用海水作墨汁，再加上七海的墨汁，終不能寫盡

مَّا خَلْقُكُمْ وَلَا بَعْثُكُمْ إِلَّا كَنَفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ بَصِيرٌ

28a mā ḫalqu-kum wa-lā baʿṯu-kum ʾil-lā ka-nafsin wāḥidatin
28b ʾinna llāha samīʿun baṣīrun

Your creation and your raising (from the dead) are only as (the creation and the raising of) a single soul. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower. 28

創造你們和復活你們，只像創造一個人和復活一個人一祥。真主確是全聰的，確是

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ

29a ʾa-lam tara
29b ʾanna llāha yūliǧu l-layla fī n-nahāri
29c wa-yūliǧu n-nahāra fī l-layli
29d wa-saḫḫara š-šamsa wa-l-qamara
29e kullun yaǧrī ʾilā ʾaǧalin musamman
29f wa-ʾanna llāha bi-mā taʿmalūna ḫabīrun

Hast thou not seen how Allah causeth the night to pass into the day and causeth the day to pass into the night, and hath subdued the sun and the moon (to do their work), each running unto an appointed term; and that Allah is Informed of what ye do? 29

難道你不知道嗎？真主使黑夜侵入白晝，使白晝侵入黑夜，並制服日月，各自運行

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ الْبَاطِلُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ

30a ḏālika bi-ʾanna llāha huwa l-ḥaqqu
30b wa-ʾanna mā yadʿūna min dūni-hī l-bāṭilu
30c wa-ʾanna llāha huwa l-ʿalīyu l-kabīru

That (is so) because Allah, He is the True, and that which they invoke beside Him is the False, and because Allah, He is the Sublime, the Great. 30

那是因為真主確是真實的；他們捨他而祈禱的，確是虛偽的；真主確是至尊的，確

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ الْفُلْكَ تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِنِعْمَتِ اللَّهِ لِيُرِيَكُم مِّنْ آيَاتِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ

31a ʾa-lam tara
31b ʾanna l-fulka taǧrī fī l-baḥri bi-niʿmati llāhi
31c li-yuriya-kum min ʾāyāti-hī
31d ʾinna fī ḏālika la-ʾāyātin li-kulli ṣabbārin šakūrin

Hast thou not seen how the ships glide on the sea by Allah’s grace, that He may show you of His wonders? Lo! therein indeed are portents for every steadfast, grateful (heart). 31

難道你不知道嗎？船舶在海中帶著真主的恩惠而航行，以便他指示你們他的一部分

وَإِذَا غَشِيَهُم مَّوْجٌ كَالظُّلَلِ دَعَوُا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّاهُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّ فَمِنْهُم مُّقْتَصِدٌ وَمَا يَجْحَدُ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَّا كُلُّ خَتَّارٍ كَفُورٍ

32a wa-ʾiḏā ġašiya-hum mawǧun ka-ẓ-ẓulali
32b daʿawū llāha
muḫliṣīna la-hū d-dīna
32c fa-lammā naǧǧā-hum ʾilā l-barri
32d fa-min-hum muqtaṣidun
32e wa-mā yaǧḥadu bi-ʾāyāti-nā ʾil-lā kullu ḫattārin kafūrin

And if a wave enshroudeth them like awnings, they cry unto Allah, making their faith pure for Him only. But when He bringeth them safe to land, some of them compromise. None denieth Our signs save every traitor ingrate. 32

當山岳般的波濤籠罩他們的時候，他們虔誠地祈禱真主，當他使他們平安登陸的時

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ وَاخْشَوْا يَوْمًا لَّا يَجْزِي وَالِدٌ عَن وَلَدِهِ وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَن وَالِدِهِ شَيْئًا إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ

33a V yā-ʾayyu-hā n-nāsu
33a ttaqū rabba-kum
33b wa-ḫšaw yawman
33b R1 lā yaǧzī wālidun ʿan waladi-hī
33b R2 wa-lā mawlūdun huwa ǧāzin ʿan wālidi-hī šayʾan
33c ʾinna waʿda llāhi ḥaqqun
33d fa-lā taġurranna-kumu l-ḥayātu d-dunyā
33e wa-lā yaġurranna-kum bi-llāhi l-ġarūru

O mankind! Keep your duty to your Lord and fear a Day when the parent will not be able to avail the child in aught, nor the child to avail the parent. Lo! Allah’s promise is the very truth. Let not the life of the world beguile you, nor let the deceiver beguile you, in regard to Allah. 33

人們啊！你們應當敬畏你們的主，你們應當畏懼那一日，父親對於兒子毫無裨益，

إِنَّ اللَّهَ عِندَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَيُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الْأَرْحَامِ وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ مَّاذَا تَكْسِبُ غَدًا وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ بِأَيِّ أَرْضٍ تَمُوتُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ

34a P ʾinna llāha
34a ʿinda-hū ʿilmu s-sāʿati
34b wa-yunazzilu l-ġayṯa
34c wa-yaʿlamu mā fī l-ʾarḥāmi
34d wa-mā tadrī nafsun māḏā taksibu ġadan
34e wa-mā tadrī nafsun bi-ʾayyi ʾarḍin tamūtu
34f ʾinna llāha ʿalīmun ḫabīrun

Lo! Allah! With Him is knowledge of the Hour. He sendeth down the rain, and knoweth that which is in the wombs. No soul knoweth what it will earn to-morrow, and no soul knoweth in what land it will die. Lo! Allah is Knower, Aware. 34

在真主那裡，的確有關於復活時的知識，他常降及時雨，他知道胎兒的（性別）；
