prajāpatiś carasi
garbhe tvam eva pratijāyase |
tubhyaṃ prāṇa prajās tv imā baliṃ haranti
yaḥ prāṇaiḥ pratiṣṭhasi

اى پران پرجاپت توئى
در رحيم نطفه را بصورت پدر و مادر كشده توئى
و صورت پسر هم توئى
گويائى و شنوائى و بيناءى هم براى تو غذا پيشكش مى آرند
اى پران همراه رونده همه حسها توئى
و روان كننده همه اينها توئى
O pran; (halitus)1
! Pradjapat tu es.
In vulvà sperma (semen genitale) cum figurâ patris et magtris faciens (formans) tu es:
et figura filii etiam tu es.
Et loquela, et auditus, et visus, omne propter te alimentum munus afferunt.
O pran! simul viâ (comes) iens omnium sensuum tu es:
et euntes faciens omnes illos tu es.
7. As Pragapati (lord of creatures) thou movest about
in the womb, thou indeed art born again.
To thee, the Prana, these creatures bring offerings,
to thee who dwellest with the other pranas (the organs of sense).
